Light. It's easier for me to read the text that way. Though the dark does give me a bit of nostalgia since the site was dark when I first joined. (the background was black actually, but close enough (unless it is black again? I wouldn't know))
The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it. It grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came!

The Light skin is terrible because all it does is make everything lighter assuming that a universal brighten & desaturation would be good enough. I mean look at the BG pattern on Light. It's downright drab and muted. Light skins should be more like Isn't It Pretty?.
