Yoshi can fly now? This looks kinda weird...

Anyway this game looks like it's gonna rock. I've been wanting to buy a Wii ever since Brawl was announced. And now Giga Bowser is playable(if only for a few seconds) It's too much for me.

If there is Marth, I am SO using him, btw. I basically mastered him in SSBM. xD I was just short of pro.

Also, I'm already teaming with Trigger and possibly my bro.

So yeah...I'm not gonna be teaming up with any of you guys officially unless it's just for fun. :3

Also, I plan on hosting a full SSBB tournament when the game is released. : D

Lmao, if Marth is in there, a LOT of people will use him, just like in Melee. xD

Lol, I used Ness, so I believed he was the awesome pwnage. xD
Lol, Roy? Ike looks like an interesting character, especially his up + b attack.

Not to disrespect you, but all the 'pros' I've ever talked to have nearly all said that the two worst characters of all Melee are Yoshi and Mewtwo, so unless you are unbelievably good with Fox, I think I could take you. xD

In SSBM I mainly used Link and Samus, I never could master Samus for some odd reason.

[IMG] In Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary, it’s rumored that there will be boss appearances.
This time, I’d like to introduce the first boss you encounter: Petey Piranha!
    He... He’s huge!
    Too intense!
Locked in the iron cages he holds are the princesses, Peach and Zelda. He looks angry. Wh-what is he doing?
He’s attacking with the iron cages!
You can save either Zelda or Peach, depending on which cage you damage more and subsequently break.
What will happen to the one you don’t save?!

This is something new to the Smash Bros Series, the choice makes you want to replay The Subspace Emissary, to see how many paths you can take.

I think it's kinda funny how he attack's with the cage's. Can't be pleasant for the one's in there. :P

I'll agree with Mewtwo being one of the worst, but Yoshi has far more potential than people give him/her/it credit for. Many Japanese Yoshi pros, namely Fumi, has been known to take out some of the pro Marths (both NA and JP) at MLG every year. Maybe not Ken, but many. Also bear in mind that Fumi has acomplished this even after considering Marth is top seed in the High Tier group, and Yoshi dwindling as top in the bottom tier.

Safe to say Bowser is far worse than Yoshi--in almost ANY matchup.

    IMO, Yoshi > [Bowser/Pichu/Zelda]
    ---

And just to say the record straight, you're only considered a 'pro' if you compete in tournaments at *minimum*, the city level and gross back at least 20% of your entrance fees at the end of the year. Lots of people try to say "you can be pro if you just join", but I've seen far too many unskilled players enter tourneys that were out of their league--now don't get wrong, I highly respect anyone who enters a tourney, but being a 'pro' just isn't simply joining tourneys, you have to rank in them too.

If you just feel you're really good and thus think you're 'pro', and call yourself one, think again. Smash Bros has a really solid foundation on worldwide competition, so at the very least, you can call yourself a local pro after you rank in your city tourneys, which I'm sure many of you who haven't done so--will be very surprised about when you see just how many better players there are out there. And these are just locals.

And about the 'think you're really good part', here's the rule of thumb:

If you don't know what a wavedash or an L-cancel is: You are not a pro. You have a crap load of learning to do. Wavedash and L-cancel are the bread and butter of competitive smash. Learn it, live it, love it.

I do agree about the Yoshi thing, but remember, it was only the pros that I talked to, I haven't talked to international pros. And please don't misunderstand me, I never stated I was a pro, I just believe I can take him on.

You really need to be able to do wavedashing on command to be even considered to be a pro, heck, I can do it and I'm not even close to being a pro.

Ah, I misread your post, sorry. However, waveshining is against rules in nearly every league and tournament (that I know of), considering only Fox and Falco can do it and is considerably cheap.
