Lol, I know we already knew about him, but I'm glad to see his specials. xD

 

Quite an interesting range. I wonder how well he plays.

 

Snake's Remote Missile is quite similar to Ness' Thunder attack in Melee.

I think Snake is going to be for long range people and dodgers. But, hey, that's just me. xD

 

It was confirmed the other day. Wi-fi is 100% confirmed.

Snake is awesome, but I don't think he'd be one of the characters I use much, just because I'm into people like Pit, Ike, Link, Fox and whatnot. Still pretty neat.

 

Lol, I love how they might've tried to pass that off as a new update since Snake was removed from the Character list for QUITE a while prior to this update.

I thought they had simply made a mistake in the coding and left him out.

And lol @ Snake pwning Ike.

 

I hope snake isn't the only non nintendo characters, snake is nice, but isn't there anything else?

 

He's stated that there will be up to two other third party characters. I'm guessing that they're unlockables, so we won't see them until the game comes out...

well, if you look at the website, all of the character spaces are filled up....meaning we wont get any character updates ntil the game is out....

I personally may use Snake because his move set seems very wide in terms on long and close range combat. Only problem is that (hopefully I rread wrong) his up-b doesn't go up it just makes a parachute.

 

I personally like it that way. I loved the Newcomer thingy & not knowing who it was. I love surprises!

 

That I feel has always been good about super smash. Only thing is when I do unlock the character it seems worth it.

 

I hate surprises. I want to know NAOW. -_-

TROPHIES

What are trophies? These are solid objects that appear as prizes and offer explanations of characters!

You can check out the poses and learn the background of a variety of characters.



Characters in solid form, complete with explanations!



You can view them from a variety of angles. Whirrrrrreeee...

You’re going to get a lot of these, so we’ve added images of them to the list to make them easier to identify.



You can arrange them by series.



And you can line them all up. This can’t be outdoors, can it?

Take a look at these, for example, if you want to learn more about a character you saw in the background in Smash. Or when your interest in a particular character’s back story has been piqued and you want to learn more about them.

Having trophies that explain your characters is quite useful.

And, in a bonus mode, you can even create something like this.



Choose several trophies and place them however you like!



You can even change the background. It’s all up to you.

Since we’ve gone to the trouble of gathering all these universes together, I hope you’ll enjoy gaining a deeper understanding of these characters. It’s with that intent that we’re all working so hard.

But just to comment, the extension of this feature really doesn't cater to anything other than the occasion boredom and curiosity we feel when we have no desire to do versus by ourselves but don't want to turn off the game just yet.

This update screams boredom appeasement.
