Wow. I didnt expect them to add lucas in this one. At least that means they didnt forget about earthbound =D. I just hope they actually use his real moves this time because in the last two games, ness had pk fire and lightning which he never learns in the game ._.

 

What happened to "getting rid of clones"?

Either Lucas has a drastically different moveset (which seems so unlikely), or Ness isn't coming back.

Damn it, I know it was a character entry update, but why did this one have to fail?

 

I could never translate Mother 3 enough to play it all the way, but im hoping the moveset is different. Luckily they didnt just randomly stick a bunch of characters from earthbound in there. Although if I start seeing crap like baby mario and luigi, I shall lose all hope. We dont need anymore mushroom kingdom characters. -_-

Btw, the moveset is the same in Mother 3 albeit one move called PK Ground which im hoping they put in as a down B move. As usual, Lucas learned only one offesive move in the game (same as ness), so they'll probably give him moves that other party members learned. Although Mother 3 has special skills where as Mother 2(Earthbound) didnt, Lucas never learns any of those either so im not sure whether they'll give him those. Lucas's main weapons were sticks/bats so the regular attacks will probably be the same.

 

This is all getting good and I'm now afraid of assist trophies due to Mr Resseti being one and we all know what happens when he shows up...

Shadow Moses Island

This stage recreates the structure in front of the helipad on Shadow Moses Island.

High walls on the left and right?!​

Walls tower over the stage on the left and right, giving it a caged death-match feel

The searchlight spots someone, and the"!" icon appears!​

You can destroy the walls on the left and right with attacks. Those who aren’t skilled at launching foes upward may want to be proactive about attacking them.

The walls come tumbling down.​

Oh, and occasionally a Metal Gear will appear from the background.

Apparently one other kind appears, too. It’s supposedly a slightly newer model.

On this stage, Snake communicates with his team to learn the key characteristics of his rivals... Whoa... Seriously?

I don't know about you, but this was an update of epic proportions for me, mainly for two reasons; first: we got to see some real action and two: the little radio interruptions made me lmao.

 

Yeah, this update was very awesome. XD I'm looking forward to this particular stage, even if though the screens scream "banned" for tourneys.

Love the Yoshi pic. Hahaha.

 

The Yoshi screen scream was epic. "So it's a female..." "Well, actually, it's a he, or so he says..." "He talks?"

 

I just watched the three and died of laughter:

"so it must be female"-Snake

"No it's a He.. or at least that what it says"-Octagon

"It can talk?"-Snake

"Mei Ling. Samus took her Clothes off"-Snake

"Farting? Are you kidding me?"-Snake


it was so funny for me and my appendix just burst. (A joke! it's still there I think...)

I'm looking forward to this stage. XD

Can't wait to see the ones for the Pokemon, Diddy Kong, and Kirby. xD
Just am dieing to see how they describe them.

Ahhh yes Zero suit Samus farting shall be her super smash attack which is right next to the peach booty bump (My dub of the attack). I was shocked to see what Mr Resseti from animal Crossing does as a trophy I mean covering the screen and going on about trophies for longer than how he had a go at ya for not saving (which was total evil!!)

 

The new Snake stage looks like it's going to be extremely fun. I hope it's not banned from on-line, as it'd be good for a lot of laughs.
