    The graphics in this game are superb. I bet they stretch the Wii's graphics engine to its limit.

    2 player Co-Op in Adventure Mode = Very awesome update.

    Probably the best one since the WiFi announcement, imo.

    <Standard Special Move: Paralyzer>
    [IMG]
    Bzzzzzzzzzzt! I can’t get enough of this.
    A personal protection device, the paralyzer stuns opponents. If you can charge it up for a bit, you can land additional attacks while your opponent is stunned.
    [IMG]
    A down smash will fire it at your feet!
    But this is only self-defense at best. It does not have the power of an explosive attack. Where and when you use this is key.
    What really brings out some characteristic Samus skills is when this gun transforms and releases a whip: the Plasma Whip.

    <Side Special Move: Plasma Whip>
    [IMG]
    The flash at the tip of this short whip is quite powerful!

    <Up Special: Plasma Wire>
    [IMG]
    Shoot it straight up to pull enemies toward you!
    These two moves can be used to grab and hang from an edge. They can reach even if the ledge is pretty far away, so pay close attention to distance and timing and aim to dangle from the edge.
    [IMG]
    Pzzzzt! What a magnificent edge grab!

    Meh, this updates a good thing for Samus players-to-be, but for the rest of us, simply restating and confirming what we say in the second trailer. Well, except for paralyzer.

    Hmm, I thought Zero suit samus would use moves taking advantage of her suit with all that metroid skills and such, but I guess not. Might as well put her back in a bikini >_>. Although I am curious as to if Zero suit samus has her own Final Smash attack.

    Minus the Paralyzer, Zero Suit gets another point for being a potential Melee Sheik clone + extras with the Edge Recovery Whip.

    <Cook Kirby>
    Kirby is quite the glutton. He apparently even does his own cooking.
    Welcome to Kirby’s cooking class!
    [IMG]
    The cook puts on his hat!
    [IMG]
    He takes out a giant pot!
    [IMG]
    Dinner’s ready! He rings his bell.
    [IMG]
    He tosses his enemies into the pot...
    [IMG]
    Simmers them gently and deliberately...
    [IMG]
    OK! Order up!
    [IMG]
    Once you take out the stock, your enemy gets blasted off.
    But is that a real dish? Something like stone soup, maybe? Can you put just anything in there? Are you sure?

    Smash Bros. Dojo is being unveiled worldwide in 6+1 languages. (This is the main page where you select your language. The "+1" simply stands for the subtle differences between American and British English.)
    In the Japanese version, you can enjoy the Japanese, original version of this song. On the pages for the other languages, you can enjoy a version for which the Treehouse at Nintendo of America recorded the vocals.
    I’ll go ahead and link to both of them.

    Well I figured that was the Final Smash after those videos. I guess this is pretty useful for making Maximum Tomatoes and Hearts Pieces (if its still in the game) when your damage starts getting high.

    Not if Final Smash items will be turned off, you won't. ;D (And expect that to happen if you plan to participate in serious duels/matches).

    Cooking Kirby is slightly lame, yet... strangely appealing.

    I'm assuming that everyone on the map will be sucked into Kirby's pot, regardless of their distance. This would only make sense because if not, Kirby's Final Smash will be one of the most (if not *the* most) gimp Final Smash in the game so far. Everyone else's that has been announced covers a great amount of range, so if Kirby's pot only works on a small radius (i.e. perhaps several feet around the spot where Kirby uses it), that's a pretty bad Final Smash.

    However, if the opposite proves true--that is, regardless of enemy distance, they will be sucked into the pot--Kirby's Final Smash will become overpowered. This is because that will mean positioning won't be an issue with Kirby, but positioning matters a whole lot with a lot of the other ones. Let's take Mario for example. Firstly, for the full effect, Mario has to be somewhat elevated off the ground (a centralized platform is the most desirable), as well he has to be facing the direction where most of the enemies are. Mario's Final Smash will have failed if the player a) faces the wrong way, and b) doesn't effectively elevate his/herself before using it.

    Off Mario's comparison alone, if Kirby's Pot doesn't have a dimension of positioning, then it's overpowered. If the contrary, Kirby's pot is majorly gimped. I'm curious to see how they're going to implement Kirby's Final Smash in terms of how it works specifically.

    Oh, and more delicious filler.

    Oh the possibilities with Samus' Super Wave Dash. If only I could time that perfectly.

    There's two new trailer things on the smash bros site.

    [IMG]

    The one whose Smash appearance has been most desired dashes in from far away at supersonic speed.

    Sonic the Hedgehog crashes headlong into battle!

    Yes, sora would be a nice addition, especially if his final smash would be TRINITY LIMIT, but for now, we'll have to be happy with sonic.

    Check my new sig.
