That's why I asked, to me it seemed like they could only fit about as much as Melee had, but +2 more.

I'm thinking that maybe the more characters you get, the character's icon will shrink a bit. Just an idea. xD

    EDIT:

Oh..my God...Brawl was delayed until Feb...

Yeah, that's basically what happened in the last one. Although they said they werent gonna announce the unlockables, and since every on that screen wasnt all the people on the site, I dont think that's the final basic character select screen.

Wtf. They had such a good strategy and they delayed the ****.

What the ****kkkkkkkkkkk. I'm getting extremely pissed. There is a positive side, my b-days on the month. But this **** probably just ruined it.

I'm sure they'd sell more if they sold it in Dec.

Well, that was the most horrible news I've heard regarding this game.

I guess no Smash Christmas for any of us. That's so disappointing. February is going to be filled with midterms for me, I won't be able to play the game that much (minus reading week, although naturally it's supposed to be spent "reading").

Such bull. February is so random. XD

Nintendo, you are a disgrace. Downloadable content could've worked couldn't it xDD

But think of it this way, Nintendo, (which I have no idea why they don't like doing it), is not one to release bonus or downloadable content for the games you purchased. Therefore, if we got Brawl in December, we might miss out on some things they wanted to add. The game is incredibly deep, might I add. The deepest of the Smash series.

I'd rather they have about 2 months to squeeze in what we want and perfect the internet play, than us getting a buggy and empty package in December. This would be an entirely different story if this was a PS3 or 360 game, considering they could just release patches and downloadable characters. But that's not how it works with Nintendo, so they need all the time they can get to get things right.

However, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with how they handled this. This is the first time they have pushed back a concrete game release date (December 3rd, 2007) less than 2 months to release. >.>

Lucky I didn't preorder. I need to get that money onto something else I need this month xD

I'll stick to that **** later then.

Even so, 2 months before release. And delayed two more months. C'mon. A little quicker for these small lil' fans? xD

I know you're being optimistic when you say "I'll give them 2 months to perfect what they need to do", but there's a limit to that in my opinion. Brawl was originally supposed to be launch title, but look where we are now, one month away from the Wii's one year anniversary. Granted, that allowed them to do a phenomenal job on the game within that time, but like you said, it's kinda irresponsible and unprofessional to announce a delay like this two months away from an E3 release, not to mention Reggie put great faith in that date when asked about 'meeting those deadlines'.

I don't know wtf happened to make Nintendo do this, but it's certainly worth every frowning muscle in my face.

@ Split. lol, prordering doesn't cost a whole lot of money. I paid about 5 bucks down payment for my Brawl game.

Agreed 100%. Such devotion was put to the date and a sudden delay? Something gives me a feeling there missing something critical...that's why there delaying.

Funny though. On the mario v. samus one, it shows the character list. Looks like it can expand on the rows...but that'll make only 21. Unless the edges count or the character pose itself gets smaller.

lol @ Super Sonic: "Now he can just fly around and pummel me at will".

Looking at all that, and for some reason we still have to wait 4 more months? D:

Yeah, it seems a bit messed. The game seems to be running fine to me. I guess it's something TOP SECRET they're fixing.

Yeah, just leads me to believe that it's a network issue again, but I don't see what that has to do with Sonic--since I've come to believe that Sonic was part of the issue (since the delay came only after Sonic's formal announcement).

If it's still a network issue, I really don't understand why it's taken them this long to deal with it. I love Smash, but it's face it, the WiFi doesn't look all that impressive. Hardly something that I feel should've taken this long if you have capable staff.

I must admit that I like that you have to beat the smash ball to get your super smash. That way it isn't cheap.

Yeah. This makes it so that the faster, better players can get it instead of it just accidently touching some really sucky player.

I feel that we need to title October 11 as "Black Day" from now on.
While those gameplay videos were uber, it doesn't make up for a two month delay.

    I agree.

I just hope it's worth it, or else I'm gonna be mad. :\
