Insulting DA would be telling him to not turn the other cheek to obnoxious rule-breaking behavoir, and to actually take action against someone who clearly has no self control to contain their temper during a simple discussion?

DA: if he is usually more reserved then he should be aware of where the line is, and he clearly crossed it anyway over nigh non-existant provacation, if he's been a member here long enough he should know what is a non-acceptable way to treat fellow members

I won't ask you to do anything against him any more since it seems he's calmed down, I'm just advizing (is that how you spell it? sounds like that when you say it out-loud, but doesn't look right when spelled that way >.>)

I have no friendship with Moodkip what so ever. I'm taking no action on anyone. The person that was the closet to that was Moodkip, but the situation has been sorted out so no warning was given. But if Moodkip was a go at it again then I will give a warning without a doubt as it shows about the temper. You may think i'm being too nice or just lazy for not giving a warning but considering Moodkip's history I personally feel a warning was justifed for 1 (possible 2) posts that were out of line.

 

Well, to be on topic, Brawl boxart was released yesterday



Not sure whether you guys have seen this yet, since it technically was 'released' on September 2nd unofficially as a rumored boxart (it started appearing in japanese retailers, and eventually Amazon/EBgames/eStarland/etc. but Nintendo made it official today), but I figure I'd post it anyway since you guys seem to be a little slowpoke on Brawl news

I've seen that boxart for a month or so now but I had no idea it was official.

 

Oh, that was finally confirmed as the box art? That's good.

 

I hope the Boxart is showing how many characters we start off with, because that looks like a great way to start the game off with that variety.

And yeah, I wasn't sure if that was official or not, since I saw it on gametrailers for a while.

 

Yeah, that's a nice healthy amount to start out with, I'm also glad because Pokemon Trainer's available from the start. xD

To ME, it seems that since they're on the front cover, these are all characters you start out with. The rest you unlock.

So, let's hear some Brawl predictions. Here's mine:

-30 character roster on the dot
-16 veteran characters
-14 newcomer characters
-2 more Newcomers will be announced on the Dojo
-4 more Veterans will be announced on the Dojo
-2 Newcomer characters will be completely unknown to everyone until the game is released

Newcomers:
-Animal Crosser
-Megaman
(Only two I can accurately predict and be assured of in my estimation)
-???
-???

Veterans:
-Ganondorf
-Captain Falcon
-Jigglypuff
-Luigi

Additional Predictions:
-Lucas replaces Ness
-Sheik returns, is still tied to Zelda (Either through Down+B, or Sheik is a result of Zelda's Final Smash)
-Ganondorf decloned, entirely new moveset and uses Twilight Princess model with Sword
-Luigi decloned, uses his Polterghost 3000 from Luigi's Mansion

 

Some of those predictions are decent, but I don't really agree with Ganondorf and Luigi, maybe they'll throw Luigi a bone, but I think Ganondorf's out completely. I also don't really believe they'll be an Animal Crosser. I would love Megaman though...

He's like the clone with the MOST potential to actually be decloned successfully and become unique

 

I know, but that's exactly the problem. He'll need to be COMPLETELY remade. I just don't think that they'll up for that.

 

They invented Captain Falcon from scratch in the original SSB, I mean he literally was a blank slate of a character and they just invented his crap up, you don't think they're up to give Ganondorf a moveset when he actually has some material from Twilight Princess to work with? o-o

 

^ True, although at the same time, all the characters that have traveled from smash, to melee, kept their original moves, although at the same time, earned some new ones, thanks to that newly added left/right stick + B. So it would really be, either take out Ganondorf, or take out Falcon, and I doubt they'll take out Falcon. They may re-add them and keep them as clone characters though, or they may actually re-do them completly, but I doubt that will happen. Since it's great to keep a feel of familiarity even if they are cloned.
