that is why the cure is so limitedly known.... the same thing happens if you take a over the counter drug for a while while you dont need it, it eventually just becomes a sugar pill with no effect

Also you said it was relatively unknown because of supply and demand.

 

meaning the people who know about it demand it and a lot of people think its incurable....

 

So, according to your logic, the cure is rarely known because it's rarely known.

 

ughh.... no its rarely known because most people dont take enough time to learn about it, but the people who do are ordering the medicine to protect themselves and family so thats the supply.

 

Yep yep yep. My dad ordered it last weekend for us. Which is why I was so confused when people were saying there wasn't a cure.

You just gotta take the time to research this kind of thing, and to not jump to conclusions right away.

The swine flu thing is stupid

In Australia, there's no confirmed cases, but people are still freaking out.

Some people have been isolated in my city. I don't think my parents are going to be buying and pork for the winter, and im coughing and getting a sore throat a lot, but I really dont think I'm infected. Then again, if I am....... I'M GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF SOME PIG THAT GOT SICK??? **** the world, its turned on all of us x(

 

Wow, a lot of people here are clearly lacking some info.

It was renamed to something like that (a little bit longer, but I don't quite remember it) so it wouldn't be confused with the fact that some people think it's dangerous to eat swine.

There is a cure, it's pills called Tambolin I think, well at least something on T. The thing is that some countries have enough supplies of it for everyone, and some doesn't. Like in Mexico where it's hit the biggest, people die because they can't afford the cure, and the goverment can't give it for free because they have no where near enough medicines for all.

Also, the death rates from swine flu are big down there, but remember lager parts of Mexico are very poor, so a lot of people already die there daily, some doesn't even have the swine flu, but it's still counted in the death rates of the swine flu, because it's assumed they died of it. When in reality some were never even checked for the virus.

As for more cures than the pills, some countries have the technology to come up with an injection (And it's assumed it will take 6 months to create it, just because they want to be sure the virus doesn't develop and become immune to it. So pills first, and then injection if it doesn't work) Now it's kinda sad that many countries can't afford this, so that's why there is such a hysteria and people fear that's it's becomming a pandemia.

Um, the swine flu doesn't infect you through pork xD It's just because a pig got the flu, a hen got the flu, and a human got the flu, and somehow they all came in contact and then the mutated swine flu developed. It's called swine flu because of the pig that got the flu. So they have actually changed the name to some fancy number stuff that I don't remember atm. And it infects through the air/drops, like a normal virus. Like if you have a normal flu. Hence why so many people have mouth/norse protectors on.

 

btw it's H1N1... -_- And that was the original name. It'c called the swine flu because it originated from pigs. Lets use common sense now =D
