    Hoe noes! The poor tomato!

    I won't be entering this time I don't think ¬¬
I have nothing to enter. The scanner wrecks the thing I did draw and I have nothing else because I ran out of time.

You sure you don't want more people to enter? You could always extend the deadline. It's easy to think that we get more time doing things in the summer, only to be proven otherwise.

It's my suggestion at least - this is being done for the fun of it, aye? :3 Though I could challenge everyone to only draw stuff with a mouse.

    o yes....

    >:3

    It's up to you, myoblivion.

Either way, the contest isn't over until you say "THE CONTEST IS OVER, MY CHILDREN! :yelling:"

First contest I've not entered :O

And tablets aren't as amazing as they seem I've found. I can't draw at all well with them >< doesn't work with my drawing style at all. I'm someone who moves the paper around all the time.

You'll have to rotate the image through the program you use, but the traditional way powns that method imo.

If I were to give advice - a combo of both media works very well. In my case, traditional style for the lineart. I just have more control with how I do things, you know? Like Demitryx said.

But-But...The pretty dark black lines D:

I was actually thinking on drawing my serious drawing the traditional way, and my fun ones on the tablet and such.
Therefore, if I do the fun ones all colored and stuff it reduces the risk of getting them traced because its harder...And then Ill finally make a deviantart ^-^

I've tried that, it just confuses the hell out of me and I end up with zero control and it ends up so messed up ><

Mixed media is so much better imo. But I'm not that good at colouring on the computer yet. I'm still very much a computer noob anyway.

    Why don't you have an account there now? ;.;

I could teach you about it!! It's a jungle out there, that place has all these categories that gets changes every year and crap. I can be the guide! Or their FAQ center.

I never get the hang of those dark lines... ;.; I know which ones you mean, so smooth... My hand is too bleh.

    For the colouring... tuuuuuuts.....

Urgh, I have visitors over atm.. I'll have to leave the PM for later, is that OK?

Called india ink or pigment ink. Hell even a fine marker will do, you don't need a tablet for the lines. Most mangas are inked by hand.

I cant make an account because Im overprotective ;~; I think when I have a child I wont even love her as much as I love them...Or Sora >.>
Oh my gosh. Im scary >.<

And I would make one...If someone from my school found out, one of those wannabe drawer losers...They woudl steal my style and trace my art, making it into their own..And I cant do anything because I only weigh 89 pounds!

    *Breaths* OKAY :yelling:

They'll get their buttocks whooped online if they steal your art, all you need is proof that you're the original artist and tell the mods on DA if you ever get a problem. Original sketch, images of your progress, add that copyright mark they give you when you submit something.

Hm. I... don't think I've ever had my art stolen before. But my chibi Fran has been uploaded on another site without me knowing once. Meh. Credit was given me so I don't mind.

I don't think people steal from dA that much, and if stuff is used it's normally in YouTube videos with disclaimers. Though no ones ever stolen my art either, not that they would want to. I'm not really that good to get stolen off of.
