| The Awakened |

Marcus shook Zeke's hand. He doesn't look as friendly as the other two. There's a look in his eyes, almost one of aggression. I'll have to watch him carefully, Marcus thought.

OOC: Risiel eyed the boy that had suddenly appeared. How many people are there? She looked away from the group, chewing lightly on her bottom lip as she tried thinking if there were more. There has to be, but the bigger the group, the bigger the target we are. "My name's Risiel," she said, turning her back on the group and began walking. "If we're sticking as a group, then we better get moving." She wasn't too sure if any of them would bother following her, but she knew if she or them stayed in the same spot for too long, they'd only end up caught by the military.

 

Blade calmly looked down at the group, another joined them and they have yet to notice him and move from the area. Had he have been a soilder with a smiper then one of the would have dropped dead by now. With his fist surrounded by electricity, Blade clenched his fist and and immediately jumped off the rooftop with his right fist raised high in the sky. Once his body began to decend from the force of gravity, Blade thrusted his fist downwards towards the four targets. Bolts of electricity began to rain down straight towards them

Daniel looked at the armored man. The black armor...why did it nag at the back of his mind? He felt like he should know something, but he didn't. It was just a strange sense of deja vu. He's obviously with the military...but that armor... Daniel shrugged off his worries and ran forward. "Here's what I got!" He yelled as the distance between them closed. Despite his Awakened powers, he ran at a normal speed. However, when he reached the man, he spun around to roundhouse kick him. He put enough power into the kick to break through a wall; enough to send the man flying, but not kill him...if it was a normal man.

"You surrender and make things easier for all of us," Scott's voice rang into the alley from up above. There he was, clad in green armor on the edge of a rooftop, staring down at Crystal and Aiden. There was an orange lens over one eye. Beneath the lens, both of his eyes were glowing red, giving increased vision. "I'll admit," He said as he lifted the rifle and placed the barrel on his left hand, "I almost lost you, but you aren't the only ones with powers." He winked at them after saying it. "Now...come with me peacefully, please."

Kyle continued to walk the streets with each metal step clanging against the asphalt. The cigarette in his mouth was still there, proven by the smoke escaping his helmet. "Heeeeyyyy, little freaks!" He called out. "C'mon out and play! Don't make me find y'all the hard way!"

 

Marcus gestured towards Risiel. "I agree with her. If we stay here,it probably won't be too long before we're caught by the military and turned into fugitive pie" he joked.

OOC: Gotta make a terrible joke to lighten the mood a little lol

 

Crystal shuddered as she looked up at him, she did not like the sound of that. Her hand reached out and wrapped itself around Aiden's like in support but she was attempting to phase them both so any bullets would go straight through them. Although, she had used this power several times in short succession and she'd never tried phasing someone else before, so there was no guarentee it would work. To make matters worse, she couldn't tell if it had worked until something hit them. She slowly looked at Aiden as if to ask what to do.

 

Emilia cringed when she saw the force of the Awakened's attack. But her eyes immediately widened when the one in black armour had actually managed to block it, with some recoil. She didn't know what to think before the armour on the arm that had blocked the kick was starting to change colour; it was beginning to glow red. Emilia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Letting the breath out slowly, she opened her eyes, looking at the ground beneath the two men's feet. She wasn't going to act yet, but if the Awakened needed help, she vowed to be ready.

 

"Wha-?" Whoever this armored man was, he was the first person to have successfully blocked Daniel's superpowered legs. Was he an Awakened as well? Then he shouldn't be with the milit-"Wait, what are you doing?!" Daniel yelled as he felt his leg starting to burn. "Let go, man!" Daniel started to freak out rather quickly. The shock from having his kick blocked, the confusion of the man's identity, and now the pain in his leg threw him off too much. With one leg in the air and in the man's hand, Daniel kicked his other leg off the ground as he struggled. "Seriously, let...me...GO!" With his free leg, he kicked the man's helmet, this time with even more strength.

Not seeing the telekinetic attack coming, Scott failed to block the first few rocks and suffered several hits to the face, but he quickly raised his large rifle to block the rest. "That's enough of that!" He yelled as he swiped the gun, blocking the last of the rocks. Seeing that his targets had escaped, Scott started to anger. "That's it. I gave you a chance," he said, not caring if they could hear him at all. "You better hope I don't find you again," was his final statement before jumping into the alley.

 

OOC: I think this might post a million times due to my computer crashing, so sorry if it does.

Crystal ran quickly with Aiden, veiwing him with a new found respect. It looked like finding him was more lucky than she had realised and sticking with him, wouldn't be a bad idea. She'd given up on trying to phase, she'd done it a lot in short succession it was begginning to drain her energy and she didn't want to push her luck too much. She didn't know how that military person had managed to find them but she really didn't want to see him again, but for now they'd hopefully managed to escape. She smiled slightly, but looking around she realised where could they go? At the moment it seemed like no where was safe for them. "Thanks. That was amazing. I owe you." She whispered hoping she would be able to repay the favour, "But where do we go now?"

 

As soon as Risiel started walking, Rebecca quickly followed, not wanting to get caught by the Military. "I hope that no one comes after us for a little while," she said calmly. "But if anyone does decide to come after us, I'm completely ready." She hoped that would stay true for at least a couple of hours...

But, alas, Rebecca was wrong. As soon as she heard the sound of electricity, she panicked. "Oh my gosh," she said. "I can't remember if electricity beats water or if water beats electricity. Oh well, I'll find out very soon..." She quickly thought of water coming from her hands and pouring onto the armored person. The shot of water worked, but then failed as she realized that the armored person was stronger than her. "I hope this one works," she said to herself as she poured more water on the armored person...

 

Marcus heard the sound of electricity and turned to look at where the sound was coming from. He saw someone diving from above towards him and the others. "Not good!" he shouts. He then uses his high speed to run out of the way of the electricity. Marcus ran quickly over to the person,hit him once in the head,but the impact injured Marcus's hand. "What do we do?!" he asked. That armour makes my speed almost completely useless...

 

Horseman? The word caught Emilia off guard. But before she could dwell on the thought, the one who called himself a "Horseman" was directing a flaming fist -- literally -- at the Awakened. Reflexively, Emilia brought her right leg up high, and stomped her heel into the ground, directing the energy to the part of the ground the Horseman stood on, causing a roughly circular patch of ground underneath the man to jut up about seven feet into the air, in a pedestal-like fashion. She wasn't sure if her presence would remain unknown for much longer, but she could still hope. She was about a dozen metres away from the confrontation. But it was only then that she noticed that the old cement road was cracked and raised in a line leading from the fight back to where she stood, at the corner of the street.

 

As Blade decended from the sky he watched the first failed attemp of a girl cast water against his bolts of lighting. Using his bladed gauntlet on his left arm he slashed away the nect blast of water and landed on the ground causing a small crater. As he stood there he immediately moved his head a bit, causing one of the kids to hurt his hand on the impact of the armor he wore on his head and stared at the group with his uncovered cold and emotionless eye

 

Zeke looked over to see a man attacking Marcus. Now THIS guy I can kill! Zeke raised his hand and cracks formed in the ground. They all glowed green, as did his eyes. Seven dead bodies rose from the ground to attack his new foe. He knew this person was to powerful, but the zombies are great at stalling people. He pulled out his knife and prepared to attack. He readied himself as he watche the man shoot lighting at Marcus. Maybe I'll kill the other guy on 'accident' he ordered two zombies to go after Marcus while he stepped in to face the mysterious lighting shooting man.

 

Blade looked over at the zombies heading over to him closed his eye and raised his right hand. Mindless puppets Blade thought to himself as electricity shot out of his hands and at the zombies, electrocuting them. Opening his eye he looked at the zombies getting electrocuted

 

"Good job!" Marcus yelled to Zeke. He then noticed 2 of the zombies moving towards him. Did he lose control over them or something?! "Whoa wait man what's going on?!" Marcus yelled as he ducked under a punch from one of the zombies.

 

ooc - so sorry for not posting; I have no internet at my house till Friday (hopefully). I'll be posting from school whenever I get the chance. Um...recap please?

 

Crystal scanned the area around them, seaching for any building without windows but every building she looked at seemed to have them, or at least used to have them. She moved quickly as she looked, glancing down allyways. She really wished she remembered more, she might then have more idea where they were or where they could go. More windows...she seached her mind tring to think of any building that wouldn't have windows, somewhere that was dark. But still her mind came up blank. She sighed and began to shake her head to say she couldn't see anything, when she saw it. There it was staring her right in the face down this alley, a nightclub. "Hey, what about this?" She said, guesturing him over. It had no windows she could see and the neon sign with the name of the place had fallen down, completely blocking the main enterance to the place.
