The Awakened

Seth looked at the tip of the kunai "poison" Shun said

 

Lorelei transformed into her second form, she put shun on her back and looked at Dawn "I've got to help heal shun..its too dangerous here, be safe" Lorelei started to take off

Dawn nodded

 

The poison soon took affect and Shun was in pain

 

Lorelei landed a few miles away and layed seth down, she summonded her sword, in the handle was a small orb, she took the orb out which quickly replaced itself. She handed it to shun "Eat this, it will reverse the poison, the taste isnt great but its better than dying.


Dawn dropped the river and waited for it to settle, in the mean time kept cautious

 

Shun ate it

 

Dawn decided to investigate the area the beam was shot at, since shun wasnt around to tell her otherwise. She dived into the water and transformed into her mermaid form.

Lorelei watched shun and waited for the taste to kick in

 

Shun started to taste it "disgusting" Shun said

 

"Told you, now sit still for atleast 10 minutes, so your body can rest and let the antidote work" replied Lorelei, transforming back

Dawn crawled out of the water as she regained her legs and walked to investigate

 

Shun smiled "Im glad that kunai didn't hit you" Shun said

 

Lorelei smiled "Thankyou for protecting me...I could of died"


Dawn came accross a dead body on the ground, she nealt down next to him "Just who are you" she whispered to herself as she tried to work that out

 

The body was covered in darkness

Shun smiled " I will always protect you" Shun said

 

Dawn ran her fingers through the darkness "How strange"

Lorelei blushed "Thankyou shun.....you seem very close to your sister aswell, I bet your parents told you to protect he in the future, since I bet you'll have a big battle one day..with ..him...r" she laughed

 

SHun smiled and fell asleep

 

Lorelei rested shun on her lap and watched him sleep

Dawn looked around "Anyone else there" she hissed

 

Nobody else was there

Shun continued to sleep

 

Dawn breathed a sigh of relief when there was no response, the relaxed herself at a nearby tree keeping an eye on the body

Lorelei soon fell asleep aswell

 

Shun slept peacfully with Lorelei

 

Hours past before Lorelei woke up "Blimey I dozed off" she whispered to herself


Dawn was still in the forest, she hoped to get clues from the body, but it was just covered in darkness "I bet that Malice is behind all this"

 

Shun continued to sleep

 

Lorelei looked down at shun, and felt a warm feeling in her heart that she hadnt felt before
