Yeah, I noticed that too...XD

 

It makes me really sad when people around me become atheists.
My cousin Tim told everyone he was one the other day, and that makes me pretty sad.
The only thing that makes me feel good about it is that he kind of proves my point.
I mean he's family and all but... the guy's an idiot. Seriously, probably the stupidest person I've ever met in my entire life, and he's an atheist, go figure. Still though, I get really disappointed, but everything is in God's will...

 

Yes indeed Xakota...It's very sad indeed...Even though Dalk was kinda annoying sometimes...Still...I always thought of him as a friend...And I still do...

I feel that that horrible debate war that was in this group awhile back may have something to do with him becoming an atheist...

So many people in this group had set a bad example for him...And what makes me feel even worse is that I was one of them...

I feel so ashamed...

And that was why I had to put a stop to debating in this group.

Because 1: I'm not good at settling debates. and 2: Debating can and often does lead to arguing...

And that horrible argument was what made him leave this group in the first place...if you go check through the pages you'll see his last post here and then you'll see what I mean.

(I deleted all the argument posts though)

 

Yeah it does suck, but like I said, everything is in God's will, and it's never too late.
I might be able to help if more debates pop up, I'm usually the one who helps my parents stop fighting.

1. I joined the Atheist group to mess with the Atheists. I quit when it became obvious that no one would react. I am not and never was Atheist.

2.You guys are being a bit intolerant towards Atheists. Just saying. :/

1. That's okay Dalk. I understand that you have a sense of humor.:)

2. What do you mean we're being intolerant towards the Atheists?...I didn't mean to say anything bad about them...If I did I'm sorry...

But y'know, They've been quite inconsiderate towards us if you remember what they did in our group earlier...:sideways: But nevermind that, That was the past.

wasn't trying to be intolerant, it was just an observation, since I personally find the idea of atheism very stupid. Not to say I have something against atheists, I just think the IDEA is stupid.

 

And Atheists find the idea of Christianity stupid.
To be fair, Atheism is actually really intelligent. It makes a lot of logical sense.
Also that post sure SOUNDED like you were calling Atheists stupid but whatever.

You know, intelligence isn't really related to religion at all imo. A lot of people are stupid, no matter what they believe/don't believe in, and vice versa. Christians can be intolerant towards other religions, and other religions can be intolerant towards Christianity. Same with atheism.
These things aren't linked to beliefs, they're just part of the human nature.

 

I see your point. Most of the atheists/christians who are 'tolerant' are usually just restraining themselves, human nature tends to make you 'naturally intolerant'.

my definition of 'tolerance' might be a little skewered, but i dont consider myself intolerant at all.

My policy on tolerance is that people are free to believe whatever they want. As long as they don't start getting into my **** religiously. Like if I find a group of Scientologists on my doorstep trying to get me to convert then those people have officially gone too far.
