I agree with Dalk, everyone is free to believe in whatever they want, and preferably keep it to themselves. Don't go shoving things down peoples' throats, especially if they don't want you to.

 

Yeah, Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons are a good example of people who do that...

i see no problems with debating. I see problems with arguing. Debating, as long as we keep it simple, is really just another discussion.

Debating only leads to arguing if they're debating wrong. Debating is supposed to be a civil exchange of concepts, though a lot of people don't seem to get that.

Cause from what I've seen in The Debate Corner and what somebody told me awhile back Debating=Arguing...There's practically no difference.

Person B: There's a possibility you have color blindness, you might want to look into it.

This is arguing:
A:The sky is green.
B:No its blue.
A:NO ITS NOT ITS GREEN ARE YOU AN IDIOT OR SOMETHING LOOK ITS TOTALLY GREEN
B: NO ITS NOT, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU? EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE SKY IS BLUE
