Prince Caspian smiled and nodded, he gently took her hand and twisted her wrist slightly and moved it in accordance with the way it was placed. "If you practice with this position of the hand...you will be able to skip a stone farther and longer than you ever have before miss Elizabeth..." He laughed softly, "I had plenty of time to develop the perfect throw over the years...I love coming to this coast..."

 

"Really? That's interesting." Elizabeth moved her hand in a throwing motion without letting go of the stone to get the feel of it a few times before letting go and watching it skip across the water. "Cool!" she exclaimed, "I've never been any good at skipping stones, that's a good trick." she smiled at him before picking up another flat stone and trying again with similar results.

 

Prince Caspian smiled widely hearing that she had enjoyed that, he turned his head and watched her stone skid across the water with great length and number of strokes. He leaned back on his arms and closed his eyes, "thank you miss Elizabeth...for everything..."

 

"Just don't trust him too much, Alex," Luke added after a moment, catching his friend's eye. "I don't want you... or any of us getting hurt."

 

"I won't get hurt," Alexandria said with a smile. Though everytime she said that it was usually the oposite result.

 

"Sorry," Luke muttered, lowering his gaze and looking at his feet. "You don't seem to want to have me worrying about you."

 

Elizabeth smiled and picked up another stone to pass between her hands. "Your welcome but I don't know what for." she answered, honestly. "I think we should be thanking you, really, since your helping us out so much."

 

Prince Caspian nodded softly and looked towards the sky, "of course..after all I needed to prove that misinterpretation wrong from who ever told you so..." he said tossing another stone himself into the shallow incoming waves. He turned his head and looked at her, "are you the oldest in your family Elizabeth?"

 

"That's not it," Alexandria said quickly. "I just..."

 

"Don't like making people worry," William finished for his twin.

 

Elizabeth tossed the stone higher and caught it a few times before answering. "Yes, I'm an only child." she finally replied, throwing the stone into the water and watching is skip across the surface. "Are you?" she asked, turing to look at him.

 

Prince Caspian nodded softly, "the only child and heir to the throne...unless something happens to me..then my uncle will be king...and to be honest its not hard to see that's what he truly wants..." He went to reach for another stone but lightly brushed against Elizabeth's hand, he quickly took his hand back and examined the stone.

 

"I don't mind worrying about you," Luke sighed. "That's why I do it."

 

Alexandria gave Luke a soft, sweet smile. "Thanks."

 

"No problem," Luke said, giving her a wink and reaching over to give her a quick, one-armed hug. "Just do be careful... it seems we'll all have to."

 

Elizabeth didn't seem to have noticed his hand touch hers as she idely drew in the sand next to her. "That's a sticky place to be in. Do you want to be the next king though?" she asked, seriously. It accured to her that he hadn't mentioned any opinions on the matter, just facts.

 

"As long as we stay with the right people, or animals, I don't think being careful will be one of our main worries." Alexandria said.

 

"We'll see," Luke said cautiously. "I don't trust anyone here, but if they're human it definitely helps."

 

"You don't like Trufflehunter?" Alexandria asked, her smiled fading.

 

Prince nodded slightly closing his eyes, "very much so...first to change the interpretation of Telmarines in general...secondly it is my rightful title and heir that should be on the throne..." he sighed opening his eyes. He once again reached for a stone, but this time picked it up and swiftly threw it across the waves. "But there isn't a way for that to happen currently...they believe me too young...plus I would need a Queen as well..."
