The Chronicles of Narnia: The Middle

Luke shoved Elizabeth's shoulder playfully. "Don't even," he sighed. "We all know that's only half her energy!"

 

Excuse me, can you make up you're own race for this?

 

OOC: Sorry, but no. To stay true to C.S. Lewis' vision of Narnia, we're going to stick to the races that he had in his novels. But feel free to make an OC if you want to; it just has to be one of the races listed. ^.^

BIC: "We'll be there soon, right?" Alexandria asked no one in particular.

 

Elizabeth picked up her pace alittle to be slightly infront of Luke, just to bug him. "You're right about that." she agreed.

 

"Do you really want this to be a competition?" Luke muttered, catching up to Elizabeth and shoving her back with his shoulder. "You'll lose."

 

Elizabeth knocked her shoulder back into his. "Who's making it a competition?" she asked, "You would be the one to lose by the way." with that she took off at a run through the forest, grinning back at him over her shoulder.

 

Luke laughed, rolling his eyes and began to run as well, just able to see Elizabeth through the trees in front of him.

"I'd slow down if I were you!" he shouted. "You don't even know where you're going!"

 

Prince Caspian waited at the edge of the forest, watching the far horizons sweep and blow with the wind. He heard the voices and rustling of the forest guessing the group was almost to his point then they could head out. He wondered what they would think of him and his people when they got to Anvard as it lacked the openness and widespread of nature within its cold stone walls.

 

"Sure I do." Elizabeth retorted, narrowly missing running into a tree as she saw the others at edge of the forest a little ways away. "Hurry up slow poke!" she laughed at Luke, slowing down despite her words.

 

Alexandria ran through the trees, ignoring the protests of her twin as she grabbed a low tree branch and swung off it, landed on her feet and kept running.

 

"Alright, I warned you!" Luke sighed, tossing his hair out of his face. "Since you refuse to submit, I will have to take you down myself!"

He dived forward and collided with Elizabeth, wrapping his arms around her waist and skidding forward into the soft dirt and sand on the ground. He laughed, glad the fall didn't hurt like he thought it was, and immediately pinned Elizabeth underneath him as they stopped sliding.

"Told you I'd win," he whispered above her, grinning widely.

 

Elizabeth's face burned alittle as she looked up at him. She shook her head and blew up to get her hair out of her face, trying to glare at him. "That was totally unfair and now my arms are all scraped up." she answered, failing at glaring as she attempted to push him off of her.

 

Alexandria dug her heels into the ground, stopping to stare at Elizabeth and Luke. She didn't know why, but seeing them that way made her chest hurt.

 

Luke smiled at Elizabeth, holding her down easily. "But you enjoyed it, no?" he smirked. "So... what do I get for winning?"

 

"come off it, Luke." Elizabeth pursed her lips alittle, getting annoyed and ignoring his questions. "The others are probably already at the edge of the forest."

 

William stopped next to Alexandria and followed her gaze. Not wasting a moment, he grabbed his twin's hand and pulled her along behind him. "They're just wrestling."

 

"Tch, I don't care," Alexandria muttered, returning her twin's grip.

 

"Aren't you hungry?" William asked, changing the subject. He was certainly hungry and that meant that Alexandria had to be starving.

 

"Well," Alexandria sighed. "Yeah, I'm hungry. Got anything?"

 

"Sorry," William shook his head. "But I'm sure this castle will have all you can eat!"
