"Yes, you'll meet them," Trufflehunter answered, wondering why they were so excited. "But first, you have to talk to Aslan."

"Aslan?" Alexandria marveled at the way the name sounded.

"He'll be able to give you all your answers," Trufflehunter said.

 

"Who is Aslan?"Elizabeth asked, curiously. "The king or... something maybe?" she glanced at Alex, her expression questioning before she looked back to Trufflehunter.

 

"Who's Alsan?" Trufflehunter repeated, bewildered. "He's the real king of Narnia."

"Oh," Alexandria murmured. "So... what if he doesn't like us?"

 

Prince Caspian arose from his bed stretching slightly, another day being brought through the window to him. He removed himself from his bed and proceeded to dress himself, an elegant shirt and lost fitted leather slacks. He walked down to the main floor of the castle, bidding his uncle and aunt farewell, heading to the stables. Every day he would just take a long relaxing ride through the country, as much as it appeared this land was far from happy.

 

William laughed. "With your attitude I think he'll be fine with us."

 

Trufflehunter nodded to William. "We've got to move quickly though. The hours of the morning are getting away from us. The Telmarines will be out soon."

"What's so bad about these Telmarines?" Alexandria asked.

"Oh," Trufflehunter shook his head. "I don't know if you anything like them where you say you come from."

 

Prince Caspian found his stallion, slowly approaching it he gently pet his nose, "seems like you had a good sleep too...however I would imagine you fancy a nice brisk ride as well?" He found his saddle, tying and tightening it just right onto him, he took his small sword and dagger he liked to carry around just for simple protection should he need it. Jumping and hoisting one leg over, he got himself into a comfortable riding position, "lets head out shall we..." he said with a hand movement of the reins and speeding off.

 

OOC: *swoons over Caspian's awesomeness* :inlove:

BIC: "I could probably think of something similar," Alexandria said. Her mind was lying on the war.

"I'll explain when we're safe," Trufflehunter replied.

 

"Safe?" William repeated. "Are you saying that the Telamrines would do us harm if they found us?"

 

"Not you," Trufflehunter clarrifed. "Us Narnians."

 

Prince Caspian wasn't one to start out slow, and he knew very well that his stallion was able to give in the effort. Riding hard and fast he flew across the plains heading towards the Winding Arrow River. When he had gotten about halfway there he stopped, his breathing sped up to the rhythm of their pace. Before long he gently tugged on the reins, allowing them both the chance to rest. "That was a good run..." he said once again patting him down, he took out his canteen taking a small swig from it.

 

"What do they have against Narnians?" Alexandria questioned, tucking a loose strand of her dark black hair behind her ear.

"None of us really know for sure," Trufflehunter answered.

 

Prince Caspian tied his horse to a branch of a nearby tree and sat down leaning against it, taking another swig from his canteen. He looked around quietly admiring the beauty of the land before him, it was so much different than the cold hard stone of Anvard. He leaned back closing his eyes as a cool breeze greeted his face lightly with a gentle wisping sound.

 

OOC: ^-^ yay! we're finally all online at the same time!

BIC: Elizabeth listened, becoming slightly wary because of what Trufflehunter was saying. "So what are you doing about them?" she asked.

 

"We can't do anything," Trufflehunter sighed, shaking his head.

 

"Can't or won't?" William muttered.

 

"What about your king, Aslan?" Elizabeth pressed. She didn't like this idea of having no answer to a problem. "Can't he do anything about it?"

 

Prince Caspian took another swig, keeping his eyes closed in relaxation, however slowly crossing over the line into sleep. As his conscious fades from reality into the dreams of fiction, he sees creatures and people that are rather strange to his eyes. A word comes to mind as he observes these people...Narnians...he knows he has heard of that word before.

 

"That's a good point, Liz," William agreed.

 

"Your king is probably weak," Luke commented for the first time in a few minutes. "Not a good ruler, no authority over his people and those that threaten them."
