"He's doing all he can," Trufflehunter answered.

"That's a load of bull-crap!" Alexandria shouted.

"What?" Trufflehunter looked up at Alexandria, puzzled by her odd expression.

"If he was doing all he could, you wouldn't be scared to be out and about during daylight hours." Alexandria folded her arms across her chest. "Why, if I came across one of those Telmarines right now, I'd teach him a thing or two about opressing people."

 

"Maybe we shouldn't make assumtions like that about a person we haven't even met." Elizabeth suggested quietly. She had caught the note of reverence in Trufflehunter's voice when he mentioned Aslan and wasn't sure what to make of it yet.

 

After a few minutes he slowly opens his eyes, once again being greeted by the gentle light and warmth of the sun's rays. He moved part of his bangs from his eyes, matching one of his hands to his brow, "seems I dozed off a little bit did I..." he said softly. "Although I must say this is a much better place to nap then back at the castle..." he said standing up and stretching some more.

 

"I don't think that's the best idea, Alex," William interjected.

 

OOC: *swoons over Caspian again* :inlove: Ben Barnes = BEST CASPIAN EVER!

BIC: "Your brother is right," Trufflehunter told Alexandria. "It's not wise to go up against a Telmarine."

OOC: HEY!!! I just realized that Hannah got post 100... >.<

 

Prince Caspian untied his horse from the branch and gently ruffled its mane a little, taking out an apple and feeding him. "There you go boy...its only fair since you did such a good job in time..." he said patting his nose. He resumed his position, taking the reins in hand, "almost there...then we can really relax..." he said gently slacking the reins and heading ocne again towards the river.

 

"I'd do it anyway," Alexandria shrugged.

 

"She really would," William sighed.

 

Trufflehunter came to a stop when they reached the thick grove of trees. "Perhaps we should wait here a while."

"Okay," Alexandria agreed.

 

Elizabeth stopped with them and looked around. "Why?" she asked, not seeing anything important to stop for. "Shouldn't we keep going?"

 

Trufflehunter gestured to the feild they had just passed. "If we wait for the Telmarines to do their runs through this area, we'll have a much easier time. If we continue and have to stop, there won't be another good hiding place to fit us all."

 

Prince Caspian rode with excellent and swift steadiness and speed, taking a little test of challenge, deciding to weave in and out through the trees near the river. "Come on boy...we can do this...just like we practiced..." he said starting his horse into a cold sprint, almost getting nicked by branches.

 

"Oh, how long should that take?" Elizabeth asked, looking out at the feild he'd gestured to. "And will we see one of these Telmarines? It might be good for us to see one so we know a Narnian from the 'bad guys'."

 

"I agree with Trufflehunter," William said. "This is a wide area of trees. If we did come across the enemy, or viseversa, we'll have a better chance of hiding here than anywhere."

 

"They look much like you," Trufflehunter told Elizabeth.

 

"You mean like humans?" Elizabeth asked. "Or do you mean like females?" she added. She glanced at the feild again, wanting a glimse of the creatures.

 

"Both," Truffelhunter clarrified.

 

Prince Caspian managed to weave in and out through most of the trees, however he became a little too confident, seeing how close he could get to the rest of the trees. He moved slightly too close to an outlying branch and it took a rather large scratch on his arm. He dropped the reins and grabbed his arm, tensing and gritting his teeth. He fell over the horse and landed on his back still holding his arm, trying to sit up he winced and fell back onto his back again.

 

"Oh, well that's interesting. How can we tell them from your side?" Elizabeth was getting more curious as more of her questions were answered.

 

OOC: OH NOES! My precious Caspian got a booboo! T^T

BIC: "Well," Trufflehunter paused. "I think you'll be able to do that easily."
