OOC: *rolls eyes*

BIC: "Yeah, I don't think we'll have a problem telling the difference between talking badgers and people." William laughed.

 

Prince Caspian finally managed to sit up, wincing at the gesture, however knowing it would be best if he doctored it as best he could. He ripped off a piece of his shirt, wrapping and tightening it around the scratch, he sighed, "I guess a prince isn't born with every skill now is he..." he laughed softly. He took the reins, but this time chose to walk alongside his horse to the river.

 

"We're not all badgers," Trufflehunter told William.

"So, and I'm sorry if this is rude, are you all talking animals?" Alexandria asked.

 

Prince Caspian reached the river with his horse, leading him to the cool flowing waters allowing him to drink, he gently pet his mane as he lapped up the water. "There you are boy...drink to your fullest..." he said softly once again finding refuge under a tree, taking a seat in the rather long grass. He laid down on his back closing his eyes, he let out a soft sigh looking up at the sky after a second, "its so...peaceful here..."

 

"Most of us, yes," Trufflehunter said to Alexandria. "But there are fauns, minatours, centuars, griffins, and many more."

Alexandria's eyes widened. "Are you serious...?"

 

Prince Caspian sighed and relaxed at the feeling of the grass around him, once again glad to be free from that prison of stone called Anvard. He had thought many a times what he would do when he became the rightful heir of the throne, how he planned to not change how he was now at all. Maybe even one day going out in search of these so called...Narnians...that was it! He had heard the stories from his professor, the mystic and legendary tales of these creatures fascinated and intrigued him. He slowly closed in eyes in sleep his mind wondering and wandering on the subject.

 

"Can we explore a bit?" Alexandria asked Trufflehunter, already looking around. She eyed a tall tree, wondering how much she'd be able to see if she climbed to the top.

Trufflehunter was surprised how quickly Alexandria could change subjects. "I'm afraid not. We've got to keep quiet."

Alexandria sighed. "Alright then.... What about the rest of you Narnians? Is everyone like you?"

"What do you mean like me?" Trufflehunter asked.

"Smart, welcoming, a bit paranoid," Alexandria listed.

 

"And a little obnoxious," Luke added with a small laugh under his breath.

 

Prince Caspian slowly opened his eyes, a cool breeze and the smell of the forest greeting his nose. He rubbed his eyes sitting up with a slight yawn, he noticed his horse had taken comfort in laying down beside him still asleep. He softly patted his nose and looked over towards the river, "seems everytime I come here I have the most wonderful nap..." he said gently.

 

Elizabeth gave Luke a look before turning back to Trufflehunter. "And does everyone speak English here?" she questioned, almost as an after thought. "I mean with such a, eh, diverse range of creatures... well isn't there some difference in laungage?"

 

"Every race has it's own language," Trufflehunter replied after a moment of thought. "But we're all able to speak a vernacular."

Alexandria shot Luke a disapproving look. "You could try being a little nicer."

 

"That's pretty lucky for us." Elizabeth said smiling, "It wouldn't be very good if most of your... um, is a country?... well if you all spoke say French or Italian."

 

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Luke muttered sarcastically at Alex, giving her a dirty look.

 

He saddled up his horse and gathered his supplies together, packing everything back into place. He stretched one final time before getting up on his horse and looking around, "well...I guess its time we should be heading back to the castle..." he said gently with a sigh. "However I really don't wish to go back right now...there is still so much that I haven't seen out here..."

 

"What are those?" Trufflehunter asked Elizabeth.

"Why are you being like this?" Alexandria shot at Luke.

 

Prince Caspian gazed upon the coast to his northern position, he sighed as he turned around and pointed in the direction back to the castle. He thought for a moment, it honestly wasn't like he had much of anything to do back at the castle, and it wasn't like his uncle was worried where he was either. Within an instant he had turned his horse around and took off riding toward and eventually along the eastern coast.

 

"Ease up, Alex," William soothed. "This is weird to all of us."

 

"Not to me," Alexandria disagreed. "I think it's cool."

 

William sighed. "Alex, can't you just be normal for once?"

 

Alexandria laughed. "You're great, Will! I am normal. I just have different interests than you. You like science, I like mythology!"
