The City Incased In Snow

"Thanks....What exactly are you saying if you put it in simple terms?" Crescent said teasingly as she shot the monster squarely in the chest.

 

"I feel connected to you. Can't go on without knowin' I'll see you again." He replied and yet couldn't tell the monster was dead so he stabbed his sword forward.

 

"Connected? In what way?" Crescent said as she kicked the monster's head just to make sure.

 

Tai just stood there "Ya know? Even I can't make that out." He said after hesitating.

 

"Well too bad I thought what you said about me was pretty cool" Crescent nudged Tai in the elbow and kissed his cheek " Thanks for saving me.."

 

Tai paused for a minute blushing "Ah...Um...Your welcome. Could you do me a favor? Lead me back? I still can't see." He said shaking from the cold.

 

"Sure" Crescent said, laughing. "If only you could see the way you blushed when I kissed you... it was hilarious." she said as she took his hand and led him forward.

 

"I was not!" He said dening everything and swinging his open arm up and down "What is it about her..." Tai asked himself.

 

Crescent hugged him as she led him forward "Next time, try to hide your expressions more. Feel warm?" she chuckled.

 

"I-!....Yes." He pouted while blushing "Why do you think it's still snowing?" He asking trying to making conversation.

 

"I don't know........ I wish you could see the sunset now.... It's beautiful." Crescent let a tear fall off her cheek, luckily Tai couldn't see that. "It's like paradise from a cold wasteland.."

 

"....Wish one of my concerts were like how you were making it sound." Tai said jealous of her being able to see right now.

 

"I bet it would be a lot better.." Crescent sighed and finally asked " Do you think that maybe...... umm.. never mind"

 

"....? Hey now, Finish the verse." He said poking her teasefully.

 

Crescent smiled. "I'm not going to" she poked him back. "I wonder why I'm so nice to you......."

 

"Come on...We can't rock without all the lyrics!" Tai teasted at her first comment "....Fan maybe?" He said in a childish tone.

 

Crescent didn't laugh, she stayed silent. "...... This is hard to explain...." she sighed and looked at the swiftly setting sun.

 

"If it's hard, Write it down. That's what I do." Tai said from experience.

 

"Even if I write it down..... you still couldn't read it." A cold breeze swept them. Crescent frowned and continued heading forward

 

"Want me to promise not to read it?" He asked her knowing she was sad for a reason.
