The City Incased In Snow

"Play me the song so I'll get the right pitch" Crescent said.

 

"What song? Remember it isn't finished but I'll play somthing." He told her starting to play softly.

 

Crescent started humming. "I know this song.. it's the song me and my band sa-" she stopped realizing she just told him her secret.

 

"Your band? What band?" He asked becoming extremely curious.

 

"N-Nothing!~" Crescent put her hand over Tai's mouth. "Shhhh!"

 

Tai sat there but had a "Not buying it" face as he looked at Crescent "Got something you wanna talk about?" He asked.

 

"It's nothing" Crescent said turning a pale shade of red.

 

"Got something to talk about I'll listen, Don't worry I won't use any for lyrics if it bothers you." He said in a caring voice.

 

"Well, I was in a band called the Dead Rose until this snow thing came up. We were so close to reaching our goal.....until..." Crescent started crying. She put her head on Tai's shoulder "It's hard.... too hard....!" she said, deeply in pain.

 

Tai hugged her while she was crying "How about this, After this is all over. You and me make a band? Together." He offered beginning to cry himself.

 

Crescent smiled and nodded, she was speechless.

 

"Now enough tears. How about that signing?" He asked her but didn't let go of her.

 

Crescent started singing one of the band's old rock songs. When she sang that last beautiful note she remembered all those great memories her band left behind for her to hold dear.

 

"That...Was amazing..." Tai said in awe as he stared at her.

 

"That was nothing..." Crescent sighed

 

"Stop thinking of yourself as nothing, You were awesome! I wish that my hit would be that good." Tai said putting on a smile.

 

"I know your better.." Crescent said, in a teasing tone.

 

"Nah...You are." Tai teasted back as he put his guitar on his back.

 

Crescent blushed. "What can I say? ...... Maybe thank you will do... or is that not enough?"

 

"Thank you is fine. Even though we're Even. Remember? I told you I was scared of 9 feet or higher? You just told me you used to be in a band." Tai said looking at her "By the way...Your face is as red as a apple." He joked as he started laughing.
