"..Mind telling me why?.."Hiei asked silently,being awakened from his nap.

 

"for killing the innocent people of the moon village" Seth said

 

"..Hmm...''Hiei opened his eyes and stood up,then began pacing back and forth."Interesting..when I told you that I felt like killing a Cobalt Assassin or two,you just told me 'sure,but dont tell them what clan your from,we dont want to go to war' you never said I couldnt change my targets,and you never said I couldnt kill people who were apart of their clan..I also didnt tell them what clan I was from,they figured it out on their own,so,in reality,I did nothing wrong..what you told me was wrong..and now your putting the blame on me?"Hiei looked at Seth.

 

Already deep in the woods, Tetsuya stopped, guilt and fear seizing him. With a sudden outburst, he began cutting at the trees and bushes around him, his swords already in his hands with such speed. He roared loudly, cutting down everything. His anger, his sorrow, his guilt, and his rage left a huge circular clearing, his knees buckling and tears rolling down his face. "I am not a leader... I failed to stop a blood thirsty shinobi... My Clan would never accept me..." He bowed his head. More rage swelled up in him, his swords repeatedly stabbing the ground, blade and all, beating a body-sized hole when he finished, knuckles bloody and tears covered with dirt and mud. "It was my fault!" He cried, stabbing one of his dai-katanas deeply into the ground, the butt of the hilt barely showing. He stomped on it, hiding the blade. He began to bury the blade. As he finished, he laid upon the mound, resting... He felt so guilty, so... weak. He no longer had two swords, but one. He sheathed the dai-katana that he still held, removing the scabbard for the buried one. He impaled the mound with the scabbard. "No longer am I able to hold two swords..." He spoke, walking away, the smell of withering cherry blossoms following him. He grieved...

Seth stayed wuiet "your right this is my fault" Seth said

 

"Part of being a Leader is learning from your mistakes..and now you see..''Hiei sat back down,having proved his point."And tell that Rei girl,I dont want her screaming at me when she shows up..''he and Seth were childhood friends,but they disagreed on many things.

 

"Don't try to turn this around and make it seem like Seth's fault, you said you were going to kill an assassin or two, never half of a clan! And he also said that he didn't not want to get involved in a war, which it seems to me that you killed enough people for a war to start, so that would mean that you actually are to blame for this.

"No Seth, it's not your fault."

 

"Im not turning it around,im stating the facts. I said I 'felt' like killing a Cobalt Assassin,not actually going to do it.I never mentioned the clan I was from,the others found out..simple as that..''Hiei muttered.

 

Tetsuya held himself in place, staring at the scabbard, the grave he made. Placing the dai-katana in the ground made him realize that he buried half of himself. Could he truly fight with just one dai-katana? He shook that notion away, knowing that it was his fault for letting a murderous shinobi live. Regardless, he stared at the mound. He didn't know what to do. Either go to Rei, who vowed not to kill, back to Seth, where Hiei most likely will be with a legion of shinobi, or go back to his village, where he will be shunned. "I could die here..." He thought, noting a fourth option. "No... Not with this sin upon my shoulder..." He began to think harder. There must be a fifth option. He was truly at a loss.

 

Rae shook her head and looked at Hiei, "Why would you kill so many people anyway?"

 

"..Because its how I was raised..how I was trained..its just who I am..''Hiei said silently,and with sort of a regretful tone."I cant change that..''

 

Rae noticed the tone in his voice and looked at him but said nothing.

 

Seth looked away and jumped of the roof

 

"..Sorry for bursting your bubble,Seth..''Hiei muttered as he walked off.

 

Rae saw Seth jump off and jumped off as well, "Seth...?" She asked.

 

"This is all my fault" Seth said

 

He would just wait for Rei to find him, Tetsuya supposed. He walked back towards the Shadow Village, his cowl back atop his head. He clenched his dai-katana in his hand, the scabbard shaking. He trembled. When will this rage be over? He did not know. He shadowstepped once, appearing halfway there. His knuckles stopped bleeding, and he cleaned his face. He thought so much as he got near the village. Should he step in? Again, Tetsuya did not know. His heart pounded faster as he got closer.

 

"Seth you can't hold yourself responsible for this, you didn't know what he was going to do! He used what you told him against you, you didn't know he would basically do the complete opposite of what he said he was going to do." She said.

 

"yea your right" Seth said looking down
