Tetsuya, again, shook his head. "Exile... Does that word not come to your head?" He asked, thinking she was obviously in denial. Tetsuya almost made it to the river.

 

Rei was close to tears. She had ahold of his arm. "I wont let you go. You've been a friend to me. I wont let you go!"

 

"You only knew me just recently... I allowed your people to die, how can you just forget that the man I let go murdered everyone you love?!" He shouted, his body trembling again. He felt cold... He never removed his cloak before... Now he was cold. "Just let me suffer for your loss... Leave me alone..."

 

"it wasn't your fault it was mind" Seth said behind them

 

Rae appeared behind them and said, "It was neither of your faults, it was his."

 

"You can not change the fact... That I could've killed him there and then... But I let him go. I would prefer you killing me afterwards than letting me live with the responsibility that I should have killed him..." Tetsuya retorted, not allowing Seth to take the blame. Both were new leaders, but one was stronger than the other. One stays true to his clan, while the other one runs. "You're a much better leader than I, Leader of the Shadow Clan..."

 

Seth looked at Tetsuya "if you kill yourself right now then i will also" Seth said

 

"Would both of you please just stop blaming yourselves for something either of you could help!? It was neither of your faults and the both of you need to stop thinking that!" Rae said.

 

Tetsuya shook his head, and turned, continuing his way to the river. He just wanted to be forgotten. As he walked along, he finally said. "If you were in our place... You would be feeling the same way... Regardless."

 

"Well, I knew he was going to do something that night, I could of asked him what he was going to do, so I sort of am in the same position as you!" Rae said.

 

"this is getting us nowhere we should just forgive each other" Seth said

 

"But would you be capable to stop him?" He asked, even farther away.

 

Rae nodded, "He's right." She said.

 

Seth nodded

 

"Yes." Rae added then looked at Tetsuya for his answer.

 

Rei nodded. "They are all right, Tetsuya! I could have stopped him too, but i wasn't watching my clan." she bowed her head. "It is my clan and the fault is mine."

 

"Well, we have all found a way to blame ourselves." Rae said, "So let's put this all behind us, agreed?"

 

Rei nodded. "Yeah. Tetsuya?" She looked at him.
