"Im sure..im the strongest in our village for petes sake!..I can handle the pain..''Hiei assured her.

 

"Well alright." Rae said.

 

"Then come on!"Hiei shouted,waiting for her to attack again.

 

Rae nodded then attacked him again, avoiding the re-opened wounds.

 

Hiei parried with difficulty.The cuts on his arms made it harder to lift his blade."I said only one sword,I didnt say anything about other tools!"he reminded her.

 

She swung her sword again, "Well I don't use those that often." Rae said.

 

"But just attacking with a sword is too predictable,mix it up a little!"Hiei told her,parrying the attack.

 

Rae nodded, then swung again, also this time she threw some kunais at him as well.

 

Hiei parried the sword attack once more,but one the kunai came he tried to dodge them.One was now in his left arm,another in his side.He smiled weakly,."..Ok...training over,for now..good..job..''Hiei fell on his back.

 

Rae walked over to him, "You okay?" She asked nervously.

 

"Well...im cut up..and about to bleed to death..what do you think?"Hiei asked her,as if everything was normal.

 

Rae shook her head, then got him up and took him to the medical ninjas for the second time.

 

Hiei emerged from the room in less than 20 minutes."They work faster if you threaten them enough..''he muttered.

 

"Wow, threatening the people who are trying to save your life, I certainly have not heard that before." Rae said and smiled.

 

Hiei smirked at Rae."Would you like to sit in there for two hours?"he asked her.

 

"If it would save my life, I don't think I would mind it." Rae said and smirked back.

 

"Anyway...training will have to be put on hold..you got some lucky hits..''Hiei admitted to her.

 

"Ya, I kind of figured I did, after all you are the strongest fighter in the village." Rae said.

 

"..When you say it you sound sarcastic..do you really agree with me?"Hiei asked,kneeling down next to her.

 

Rae looked at him, "Ya, I do actually."
