While traveling across the sands of the Waste, the red-cloaked magus, Ollerus, was thinking to himself about his current mission. Infiltrate the City and gather info on Ink, huh? This isn't gonna be easy. Ink's security is top-notch and if I get caught, I'm beyond screwed. Plus this is my first time going to the City. I have no clue as to where Ink headquarters is...why couldn't they have sent a better guy for the job? Becoming nervous from thinking too much about what might happen during his mission in the City, Ollerus did what he always did when he wanted to calm down. He projected. He stopped walking and stood still to start the process of projection. To help himself concentrate, he whispered the words "Armorum, Potentis, Paro" to himself and with a wave of his arm, there was a flash of light and a sword magically appeared in his right hand. "I don't know why but having a sword in hand always makes me calmer. Come on, Ollerus, you can do this."

Across the horizon, one could see huge buildings that seemed to go beyond the heavens and alongside the building, floating roads could also be seen. "So that's the City. It sure is a sharp contrast to the Waste. I guess I'll enter in from the lower level and climb up to the top when I get inside." With a sudden boost of confidence, Ollerus started to sprint through the sands and towards the City. Yea you got this Ollerus. No worries.

"Of course. How rude of me to attempt to follow a woman and her dog without considering how awkward it might feel to have me walking behind them." it taunted. It took the main lead of the group. With both hands, it took hold of its head, and began to twist it around to a 180 degree angle, the skin quite obviously straining. It smiled at them, shifting one eye onto Olivia, and one eye onto Vincent, appearing almost cross eyed. "Shall we start?" it asked as it began walking forward with distinct accuracy, which should have been impossible without his sight.

Vincent glowered and drove his emotions out of his head. Muttering, he let Olive follow first, "I'm a dog am I? I hadn't realized devoting yourself to protecting someone was canine-like." His own head hurt seeing what Alex did and rolled his eyes, "Always the show off, aren't you. On second thought, Olive, maybe someone should start something. Just so I can stab it." Tugging on the collar of his white trench coat, he rubbed his face and shot a 'do I really have to put up with this' look at Olive.

OOC: She doesn't, I just wanted to show it was that street. And are they out of the shop yet? It wasn't clear.

ooc - oh okay, sorry. and the door is open but they just went out

Olive stepped outside while shaking her head. She too felt pain in her neck just by looking at Alex turn its head in such a way, but decieded to try and ignore it all together. "We're all on the same side here, so try to get along." She wished to threaten them but since they were outside now and pently people were out it was best not to.

The bottom level was almost always in a night time stage. The roads above blocked out most of the sun and the streets always seemed damp. And though there seemed to be pently of buildings about most were just the base of the buildings from the Upper Level and many were homeless. It truely was a sad place.

Olive shook off the thought and looked down both ways of the street. There were no cars to look out for but the people here may prove more deadly.

OOC: How exactly is the City seperated from the Waste? Is there a wall that seperates the two or something of the sort?

ooc - right, I should of been more clear. There's actually not much. There's a metal fence all around it but the actual city doesn't start until about a mile past this fence; Ink wouldn't want to cause anyone to start thinking that they need anything protecting them from anything but a few wild animals. There are guards out there though it shouldn't be too hard to get past so long as the timing is right.

"Tgh, such amusing people you both are." Alex stated. Its head returned to normal, its head readjusting and his eyes looking straight ahead.

It grinned at the sight of children running past them, playing some sort of tag game. "Help! Don't let Ink catch you!" one of them cheered, encouraging the others to run fast. "I'll gobble you guys up! Inks comen ta getcha!" the one lone boy yelled as he chased after them. While not paying attention though, he bumped into Alex by accident and fell flat on his butt. "Sorry mister. I..." he started to stay, but stopped when he looked at Alex. His eyes went wide. "I...Ink..." he said in a slightly terrified voice.

The other children remained behind the group by now, but had stopped, staring at the poor boy who had come to a halt infront of Alex.

    "I'm sorry.."
the boy started to say, but stopped. Alex knelt down infront of the boy. "Must be fun. I remember when games like this were more common. The civilians would run away from the Ink member and anyone that got caught got put into the lab. But you have the part all wrong my boy. You need a bit more...." it started to say, as it opened its mouth wide and its eyeballs rolled back into its head. Its mouth had opened unnaturally wide and small blades had begun to slither out from the bases of its teeth and a much sharper blade began to raise out from its throat, point at the boy. "....emphasis." it said, finishing the sentence without moving its mouth, as if a voice box had been implanted inside of its body, as it began to laugh, terrifying the small child and making him cry.
People began to gather, hearing cries from both the boy and the other group of children, recognizing the Ink members.

Vincent growled and stepped beside Alex, "Give it a rest Alex." He glared his dark eyes at the other people, "Move along!" He kept Olive close to him with a hand wrapped around her wrist. He normally wouldn't have touched her but with Alex frightening the people, he wasn't sure what they'd do to protect one of their own. Alex was indirectly putting Olive in danger and it provoked his normally tightlly locked violent nature. Pulling his sword from it's sheath, letting the blade glow faintly in the dim place. He glared at the people, keeping his hostility to a minimum for the boy.

Aywa looked at the Ink members in alarm, wondering how much lower would they sink. She looked down, not wanting to stare and moved away slightly. She knew she should probably should move away quickly, she was off the Ink database and wasn't in a hurry to go on it. But as she began to slowly walk away her curiousity build up. She wanted to know more like, who were these people and what were they going to do? And what right did they have to do it? She sighed silently and cursed her natural inquisitiveness, knowing already what she was probably going to end up doing.

Reaching the fence that separates the Waste from the City, Ollerus started to inspect the surrounding area for alarms and guards. Luckily for him, there weren't any alarms in the area but in the distance, two guards could be seen sitting down in chairs. Not knowing what their abilities were or if they even had any abilities in the first place, Ollerus determined that it'd be better to not fight them and that sneaking past them would be the easier path to take. "First things first, I gotta get past this fence." With a flash of light, his favorite sword, a broadsword with the words "Fortitudine vincimus" inscribed in it, appeared in his hand. Gripping the hilt of the sword tightly, Ollerus quickly slashed through the wiring of the fence and using his hands, he was able to open a hole through the fence.

While climbing through the hole, he looked towards the post that the guards were at. It appears as if both of them were apathetic to his existence because neither had noticed the red-cloaked mage yet. I'm even wearing a noticeable color and they haven't done anything yet. This is gonna be easier than I thought. Getting through to the other side of the fence, Ollerus checked his surrounding again and started to sprint towards the city. If I can run fast enough, I'm sure they won't even notice me. While running towards the City, Ollerus tried to be as wary of his surroundings as possible so he wouldn't set off any possibly hidden alarms or something of the sort. He also noticed that even though he was shortening the distance between him and the guards, they still didn't notice that he was in the area. "Are they blind?" he asked himself. "I'm wearing red. It'd be harder to NOT see me!" As he got closer to the guards, he start to notice what was so strange about the two guards. First, their eyes were closed and second, their mouths were wide open and drool was coming out of them. They were sleeping on the job. "Oh lord. It looks like I'm dealing with a pair of idiots. Lucky for me I guess but I won't deny that I would've wanted more of a challenge. Well I guess I better get going." Running past the guards, Ollerus entered the dark and damp slums of the lower level.

ooc - lolz. Sleeping guards always amuse me.

Olive stepped in between Alex and the child. Surely if anyone saw that they were fighting amongst themselves that they would think Ink was weakened and the attacks on them would only grow. So as much as it pained her she had to play along. Her eyes, covered in the shadows on her bangs, glared down at the kid. "Run away while you still can." The kid got up and ran past his friends who then chased after them. So much for trying to make Ink seem like a good group, she thought with a sigh.

Olive then looked over her shoulder to look at Alex as she could not turn fully as her wrist was being held by Vincent. She would of smiled at the gesture but she was too angry to do so at the moment. "Sure, go ahead. Expose your abilities to the on-lookers and make our jobs even harder than they already are." It was people, or things, like Alex that made everyone down here hate Ink, but there was nothing she could do about it. Sure her family were high ranked and had connections to Michael himself, but even they wouldn't do anything about Alex. As to why this was Olive had no idea and she didn't think it wise to ask, so she would just have to deal.

She was wary as to how Alex would respond so she watched him intently.

"I have a general idea of where I'm going. It's been too long to be sure though." Grey calmly replied, wondering if the smile Shiira had given them was genuine or not. Despite her current attitude he couldn't be too certain whether or not she was truly friendly. "The Waste is occupied by the group named Sin, correct? Are you a part of that organization?" He asked, hoping that Shiira would be able to take them to their leader.

Alex returned to normal once again. "Oh come now. I was simply....guiding him in the correct manner of how to play his part. If someone wants to pretend to be the big bad Ink villains, then they should at least do it the right way." it said with a smirk. "Sides, I don't need to worry about Inks image, you do. I'm just an errand boy." Alex said. Of course, due to its high rank, it could be easily debatable that sadly enouph, it probably should be one of the people with the most concern for Inks image. In the end though, it seemed more like a freeloader then anyone who could possibly even handle the importance of Ink.
"And the hell are you looken at, huh?" it said to a man who was standing there and observing, frozen in place until Alex snapped him out of his daze. The man quickly took off. "Tgh, worthless... You coming or not? You both still have to do something to make me think that you're worth saying something good about to my boss."

Vincent gripped his sword tighter as he slid it back into it's sheath. Refraining from tightening his grip on Olive's wrist, he snarled at Alex, "It should be you who would be more so concerned about image. If Olive gets hurt down here because of your stupidity...I swear I'll run you through straight to your core." Narrowing his eyes he let go of Olive and flicked up the collar of his coat, his wings itched for blue skys and freash air. "He's our boss too Alex. I wasn't assigned to protect Olive because I'm pretty. I'm good at what I do."

Vincent blinked and shook his head, so much anger today. A stray thought floated through his head; he felt like dancing. Though when he opened his eyes, no strobe lights greeted him and no music hit his ears. "Let's just go already. We've wasted enough time dealing with potential killers."

"As tempting as it is to watch the Ink members start up a ruckus, it might be in your best interest to not get too close to them." Mathew said from behind Aywa as she walked forward, almost as if he had appeared out of thing air. "Not that I wish to be rude and intrude myself into your business, but tis just that I find that it would be quite a handful if they were to start pushing around a woman to, let alone a child. Ya know?" Mathew said to her, taking anouther lightless step infront of her to get in her way.

Aywa stopped and looked at the man who had spoken to her with a small smile on her lips, hiding her suprise of his appearance. "Oh, yeah, you're probably right." She brushed her hair out of her face, "Was it that obvious I was tempted to go back to know more? I should thank you though, you probably stopped me doing something stupid"

ooc - could someone post in the ooc thread so I can post the recap?

Trying to remain on the low was overly boring. All around him was action and things he could to do severly damage The City, but since his near capture by Ink Jason has been ordered to stay low. Perhaps he would of been sent back in action soon, and he might even of been able to do some real damage. But that future was lost to him the moment he saw some Ink members on the street. One was harassing a child and he lost his temper. To get their attention he picked up the cloest thing he saw, a small rock, and threw it at the member in front, a raven haired girl.

Olive had much to say to Alex, but before a single word could be spoken she was hit on the side of the head with a small object. It didn't hurt, but it was the sign of more to come. She looked over and recongized the red head from the Ink message board. They knew him as Jason, a shaeshifter, and he was on the wanted list. She thought him to be stupid for not losing the visage everyone knew him to look like, but that was unimportant now. She, and everyone else, could sense he was there for a fight. The people in the street began backing away, some even ran away. What really worried her was some looked like they were ready to join in the fight. This was one they could not lose.

"Heeey," he called over to them. "Want to play?" He asked with a wide smile as the edges of his arms sharpened into silvery blue blades.

    OOC: Thanks.

BIC: Mya studied the Waste dweller. She didn't really trust her. Part of her thinks that she will backstab them. Other part of her is actually impressed someone could live in The Waste and survive. She didn't want to say anything since they could use more companians.
