Aywa turned towards the man, she followed Matt silently, although her instincts were telling her to turn invisible and get out of there. But she didn't want to just abandon him, even if he could take care of himself, she also wasn't sure she wanted to show what she was and of course her usual curiosity crept in. She gazed quietly at the man, she didn't like the look of him and didn't trust him at all. She didn't know what Black was but didn't like the sound of it already. She just hoped Matt knew what he was doing.

 

"That depends..." The man's eyes shifted from Matt to Aywa and back to Matt. "What rumors have you heard? Some rumors have truth to them, but most of the time rumors are just that, rumors."

ooc - sorry for the short post. I can never really post with these types of characters, minor ones that is.

 

"Oh, nothing really." Mathew said, keeping his tone to a professional peek so as not to show any sign of his lack of knowledge on it. "I've heard some funny rumors though about how the upsiders have been introduced to our variety more often though because of it though. Which can only make me wonder, what use would it have to me?" he asked, stroking his chin as if he had a beard there.

 

"Hm..." The man began to wonder what exactly he meant, but was more focused on the sale. "It heals any and all illness. From a cold to cancer. It also makes one stronger and more awake."

 

Aywa smirked silently, she didn't need any silly thing to do that for her, she could do that anyway - well perhaps not quite heal everything but near enough. She didn't trust this man at all even if she couldn't do that. She wouldn't be suprised if there was a catch with this and she certainly didn't expect it to be cheap. She wanted to go there and then, the further away from that man they were the better. She shook her head slowly to show her disapproval and wondered if Matt had any buisniss with this man, she really hoped not.

 

Night noticed Shiira's anger but then looked to Grey when he spoke. "Oh. I am curious as to why, but you can explain that soon enough." He turned to face the portal. "Then follow me if you wish." He walked through the portal and found himself in a dimly lit meeting room of sorts. The walls were all a dull shade of dark blue and there was a long glass table in the center of the room with black chairs around it.

Shiira knew that Grey was right and tried to calm herself. She managed to stop shaking and put her larger sword on it's strap that hung across her shoulders almost like a bag and the smaller one in something of a makeshift seath on her back. "This ought to be good... Wonder if it is a trap." She muttered to herself before walking through the portal, surprised to find herself in such a room.

Azure rushed to Grey's side and looked warily towards the portal. "Should we really go through it?"

Azure looked back at Mya and smiled warmly, trying to be as brave as her fellow mage. She then turned and gulped before going through the portal after them. After Mya was through it would close behind them. (So after she posts) She then looked around the room before looking for Night. She then saw him near by, next to the table which he then sat at.

Shiira looked away from Grey, not showing any signs that said she listened or not. She then walked towards the end of the table where she remained standing. It was far enough so Night couldn't touch her, but still close enough where she could move in and attack in time before he could attack the others if need be. Little did she know of just how fast a Speith could move, let alone that was what he was.

"Stand if you wish, whatever suits you." He said towards Shiira with no emotion in his voice before turning to Grey. Now one could hear that he was curious. "And why were you seeking me out? Never have I seen a Forest Dweller out here let alone one interested in outside affairs."

 

"Ha! Cancer and the sorts aye? Well then tell me kind sir, just what might the price be of such an elixer. Something so outlandishly valuable must be at the highest of prices, mustn't it?" Mathew asked, a grin spread across his face to keep with appearances. He was positive that Aywa wasn't exactly comforatable with the situation at hand, and he knew that he would need to explain himself for this, but at the moment he found that it would be to his benefactors interest if he actually were to obtain a sample of the liquid, whether it be his duty to or not.

 

"Yes, that is ture... Typically. But I am a nice guy and today I got an extra shipment of them. So I am practically handing them out to those who have yet to try it. Only fifty dollars. And I know that must seem like a lot, least down here where we're all poor, but it'd normally be in the thousands even, depending on the seller."


Night was observing Grey as he walked to the table and sat down and then noticed how formal he was being. He was wondering what type of person this Grey was, as in personality and species wise. Finding these things out was always amusing. He then laughed when he heard the word peace. "We were peaceful before, and they then left us to rot when the Cold came. Even after it had gone... Well they sent in some of their army, and when people appoarched them for help they were all shot down, no questions asked. When I questioned Micheal about this he did not give me a straight answer and threatened to kill the rest if I did not leave. So then it became war. Slowly but surely I shall watch as The City falls apart and crumble, and the people there shall suffer as we have." Whether he lied or not was impossible to tell.

 

Night found himself laughing again. Surely this man before him lived a long life, he could tell this. Grey might even be as old as he was, who knew. But he knew nothing of how things worked. "Here's a secret that almost no one knows..." He said, leaning in very slightly. "Me and that Micheal have been fighting like this for centuries. And every now and then something happens to cause a war. We can never really see eye-to-eye until at least a few thousand die on both sides. But then, from the ashes of battle rise a new peace and the world can start fresh again. Our sibling like rivalery has been keeping this world alive." He got to his feet and walked towards the wall, stopped a few feet before reaching it. "So what if a few humans die anyway? Through this way only the strong will survive. Serves them right for nearly killing my kind of... Least this time he started it." Now his story before seemed less likely, but he didn't care. He was the type to say whatever he was in the mood to say whether it was true or not and it wasn't like anyone would believe these people if they were to repeat his words now.

"Why you..." Shiira's fists were clentched as he spoke and now she drew out both blades. "So my family had to die out just so you can play war? My people had to suffer just so you can play this....this damn game!?" She charged at Night but when she went to attack she was thrown backwards, all the way to the end of the room and hit the wall while Night seemingly did not move at all to block her.

"Shiira!" Azure rushed over to Shiira to check if she was okay and ready to heal any wounds.

 

OOC: Ugh stalled way too long D8

BIC: Mya stepped in and saw Shiira fly past her. She turned towards the direction where she was thrown and saw Greay and the others talking to Night. What is this? Some sort of mind trick? She walked up till she was at the table.

 

"I'm just fine." Shiira answered instead, trying to get up. But instead she fell back down and felt some blood run down her chin. "What the hell did he do to me..." She muttered as her vision blurred and she started to feel faint.

"Please stay down." Azure placed her hand above Shiira's stomach and a faint white light appeared around it. "Are you feeling better?" Shiira only nodded. Azure smiled as relief washed over her. "Good, then it's not too serious."

Night stared at the flames blankly, wondering if he should do anything about this. "Now we have to redo the room yet again. Should of taken them somewhere else..." He muttered to himself, sighing softly. He decided to wait and see what they will try to do. They had nowhere to run off to after all. This was a city under the sand with the only way out being the portals. And no Sin member would give them access to a portal and he doubted they'd know how to open one one their own.

 

"I'll take a bottle, best you've got." Matt replied quickly, almost cutting in towards the end of the sellers setence, pulling out the fifty as if it meant nothing to him. He wanted to hurry things up, even though he had made it quite obvious by now that he wasn't exactly local for someone with that kind of pocket money.

 

The guy couldn't care less where this man was from or who he is. Money and money. He took the money and went back to the alley way where there was a box waiting open for him. He took out a bottle and handed it to Matt. "Have a nice day." He pocketed the money and then returned to the alley.

 

Aywa frowned, not exactly happy that Matt had bought some of the stuff, she watched the man walk off with a look of distrust in her eyes. "I don't trust that man. I don't know why you bought that stuff but if your planning on using it use it with the greastest of cautions. I really wouldn't be suprised if it didn't work or if there was a nasty catch to it. If you have something that you need to heal tell me, I'm good at healing and medicine" She said, not mentioning quite how she was good at healing.
