    They finally made it to an inn inside the small town. "It looks...deserted. This place isn't even damaged. What could have happened here? Oh well, you two should find a place to sleep. I'll just stand here and keep watch."

    Alaric left the inn and went a little out of the town and into the desert.
    "These things have been happening because of me. Maybe it would be better if I left." He thought back to when Death had taken over him. "Why don't I have the strength to protect anyone?!" He yelled. "What am I doing here if all I do is get my friends hurt?!" Alaric looked at the sky. "Damn it! What is my purpose?! Answer me!" He kept getting angrier, and the sand beneath him had turned into glass. "If all I do is hurt people what side am I supposed to be on?!" He started gathering fire in his hand and let it grow until it was almost ready to burst. Alaric hurled it into the sky. "Why won't you answer?! What am I doing here?!" He fell to his knees exhausted. "This is my fault. One stupid mistake cost me nearly everything...it cost Sharix her family..." He looked at the moon. "I don't want to be responsible for this. I'm not strong enough. I think I'm losing my mind."

    OOC: I thought you were gone...uhh...weird.

    He looked around. Last time I was here, this place was supposed to be busy in teh streets so they could bring water from the oasis. Looks like they all died from something. He said.

    As he started to walk back he wondered, Maybe they are better off without me...with me around chances are they will get killed. He stopped walking and started thinking about if he should come back or not.
