    He spread his wings and braced himself for the pain to come...but no pain. "What the...? I feel...better than before! No pain!" Maybe that was his gift he thought. He looked at Sharix. "Sorry for dying. I shouldn't have let you come." He looked at the ground. "Even if I am stronger...it still won't help me protect you. Death isn't finished..."

    Alaric looked back up. "I guess so..." He had more to say but he was wasting time by thinking about his emotions. He went to Sharix and picked her up, becoming distracted for a moment. "Lets go now." He said quietly as he took off.

    "Maybe they left..." Alaric kept looking for them but was still distracted by Sharix. "I wonder why don't you like flying? It's not like I'll let you fall or anything. You better get used to it because now flying doesn't hurt me anymore."

    Alaric flew down and landed a short distance away from the two. "At least Death didn't bother them." Alaric let his wings vanish. "It's been so long since I could freely use my wings."
