    Alaric sensed it too. Death had appeared behind them. "I think it's time you die!" Death threw a large fireball aimed at them. "Move!" shouted Alaric. He pushed Sharix out of the way and caught the fire ball in his hand. "You shouldn't sneak up on people. It usually ends up in someone getting hurt." said Alaric. Death just smiled, "You know I can't stay here long, I have a minute at least. But lets have some fun." Alaric summoned two flaming swords and lunged at Death. Death quickly dodged it, summoned a shortsword and cut Alaric in the ribs. Alaric yelled in pain. "How are you faster than me?" Alaric's swords vanished. "Not again!" Death tried to attack again but Alaric was just fast enough to kick him in the chest. Death backed off,"Damn you! My time is nearly up!" "No..." replied Alaric. "IT IS UP!" He threw his own fire ball at Death and it made him vanish. Alaric fell down. It caused him so much pain to use a spell like that under the influence of Death's spell and he was bleeding. Things started to go black and Alaric fell unconscious.

    "what the heck was that!?" sharix said and ran up to Alaric. she noticed he was unconcious. "h-hey! Alaric! Alaric! Wake up, c'mon wake up!" sharix said shaking him a bit. She looked down at her hands, they were covered with blood. He was bleeding. "hey! c'mon wake up!" But he still wouldn't wake up. "alright then, I'll just go look for help." She picked up his body. oh darn...! He sure is heavy! She walked forward and placed him in a place where she thought it was safe. "anyone, help please!? anyone! Please help him!" she shouted. If only I could heal myself.... She sat down, she looked at Alaric. "when are you going to wake up?" she says softly. what just happened is making me more suspicious about him now.. she looked down at her hands again. Her bloody hands reminded her of that day....when she actually killed someone...She stopped thinking about it. she didn't want to cry, not now- not here.

    He was waking up. Everything was so blurry. He had a headache still. Maybe catching that fireball wasn't such a good idea. He quickly got up but felt lightheaded and sat down. He looked at his hand and it looked burnt. That will heal in a day or two. He saw Sharix and noticed that she looked sad. "Whats wrong? How long have I been out?"

    Sharix turned to him. "so your finally awake. Well, you haven't ben out THAT long for sure." she said avoiding his first question. "who was that? It seemed like you knew him. And if your ever wondering- yes I am now very suspicious."

    Sharix sighed and stood up. "a little about myself..? Well, my family members all died. Is that enough for you?" she asked smiling a bit. She didn't want to go any farther than that cause it'll just make her sad so she acted happy and ok.

    "Well I have seen that happen a hundred times. I'm sorry for your loss...There is a river ahead I think. It gives us a chance to rest and get some water." He got up and started walking to where the river should be.

    Sharix didn't look up or anything, she just push Alaric towards the direction they were heading to. She didn't push him that hard to knock him over, just hard enough to make him start walking again. "let's just go- don't mind me. I'm just tired."

    They arrived at the river. Sharix walked ahead, she sat down and looked at her hands, she quickly washed away the blood. Then she looked at them again, for a second there she saw that her hands were still covered in blood, but she blinked again. She grinded her teth together. "I can't take it anymore!" she exclaims, turning to face Alaric. "If you want to know the truth- then listen well! My family died because of my younger brother! He killed them! my younger brother was one of the cursed ones! I should have died that day too, but I killed him! I killed my younger brother with my own hands! Y-you've been spending your time with a killer...." she said crying now.

    "From what I see you are no killer...you carry a heavy burden but you are no killer. You are not a bad person." He got close to her and looked her in the eyes. "You are trying to help people you don't know. That doesn't sound like a killer to me." It was hard to comfort her, she was crying a lot...he got a little closer...it had been awhile since he had seen anyone upclose.
