yeah, im thinking of trying to use the terrain to the advantage of the player.

 

that would be good. still gives us a challenge but it's not total ownage over the lower rank. I mean if you wanted to you could cut my sword in half if we battled.

While we're talking about stuff I feel like going back to my comment on godmodding vs. powerplay for no real reason.

Powerplay is when you make your character far unrealistically powerful especially to the point where they cannot be defeated. The main thing is just to make it so there is conflict and not one person destroying everyone else.

Godmodding is controlling other people’s characters without permission. The obvious example is that you say what someone else did but it also goddmodding if you don’t give the person a post to react like “John stabbed Bob through the chest and killed him” since you are indirectly saying that they did nothing. This is never a good thing but it is bearable as long as people can accept the situation changing when the other player changes what you had their character do.

Ok that’s my short rant on that topic.
