The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

"I do believe him now." Ceri kissed him and lifted him off the ground. She carried him to his room. "You need to rest. I will wait outside."

 

Philippe turned and looked down at Xandor. "What in the world happened to you?" He whispered.

 

"Thank you, my love." he said.

 

"No thank you. Forgive me my love."

Ceri walked towards the door, a sinking, sad feeling in her heart.

 

Xandor slowly opened his eyes. He tried to sit up in bed, but layed back down, too tired to sit up. He put a his hand on his forehead, "What happened?"

Philippe looked at Xandor, with a worried expression on his face, "That is what I would like to know."

 

"I forgive you." he said, smiling.

 

Ceri sat outside the door. She didn't know what to do for the best. She had hurt the one person who she knew in the world and loved.

 

In a couple minutes he was back to normal. He left his room and asked Ceri "What's wrong?"

 

"I hurt you and you are the most important thing in my life. Perhaps I am not safe around people, especially you. I never want to hurt you again."

Ceri started to cry.

 

He hugged her and said "It's not your fault. You didn't know and neither did I."

 

"He's gone for a while at least. I wish I could do more to help you. That demon is your other side isn't he?"

 

"Yes. A while ago, you helped me keep him locked up for a little while. But, as he said, he escaped."

 

"This time he turned to sand when I attacked him. What does that mean? I'm worried for your safety as he's tough and he can hurt you easily."

 

"That was a clone of himself he made out of sand."

 

Ceri started to go dizzy. The blasts she had used were powerful and had drained her energy. She slid to the ground and passed out.

 

He picked her up and put her in her bed, sitting by her side to keep an eye on her.

 

Ceri groaned and reached out for Kyle. She could see all the demons that she had killed in the past and they were all coming to get her. She screamed.

 

He took her hand and thought to her Don't worry, it's just a dream.

 

'Not a dream, memories, horrible ones. I can't cope on my own.'
