Guys, this is my suggestion for our song. Please give it a good watch and read the subtitles, and tell me what you think. Feel free to suggest something else as an alternative whether or not you want this one, as it helps to have a good variety in choice.

 

The melody might be a little too upbeat.

 

Just because a song is upbeat doesn't necessarily mean it can't be sad. Personally, I think that the song that he gave is a pretty sad one if you pay close attention to the lyrics and what they mean.

 

I know. But if the melody isn't upbeat that often adds to the song being sad, right?

 

Very true. That song isn't the one we're definitely going with, we should definitely keep open minds on what we use. But that song that DarkPool presented is definitely a good contender.

 

Did you watch the whole thing? Just because the main portion of the song seems upbeat doesn't mean anything. The story that's being told is the focus in this case, and the story is sad.
