Easy guys... Eventually, each and single one of us will leave for a period of time one day - it's bound to happen, I should know. The best thing we can do is to appreciate the time we spend right now.

And I'll smack you if you say I'm ripping off what Hayner says in the game. XD

 

It's true though... Everyone does seem to be leaving... One by one all the older members are going, and just at the time we're getting overrun by n00bs...

 

I've been migrating loads so I know what it's like when someone everyone likes leaves the forum you're in. Sometimes it's for the sake of time off (like the guy I mentioned a few days ago, 2 years break), concider this as a time off for Orange. Eh? *pats*

 

I read it... I don't understand why some peoples parents get so worried. The way I see it who gives a sh*t as long as it doesn't worry or effect you. I can see why, I just don't get it....

It seems so overprotective. You can't hide us from the real world forever, and in fact hiding that side of the world is more then likely more damaging for the person in the long term...

 

I asume there's two sides of this issue, isn't it? Do the parents act too rashly with the children's freedom? Do they give a damn about what is part of the childrens' daily buisness, which also risks being an insecure one? We can't control what our parents should think about this or other forums/sites, they have reason to worry. The best thing I think is to always be truthful about what you're a part of on the internet. Let them see what you do, it might just make them loosen their grips knowing you are aware of what you're doing.

Of course, I never even used the internet until 2003 so I shouldn't be the one to speak... :x

 

Yeah, my parents know full well where I am. What I do, everything. If I didn't want them to know they really wouldn't lol. But I guess it's a case of not showing them you're responsible enough to be allowed online, if they know you can be trusted to be honest then they'll belive you when you say you wouldn't be dumb enough to meet up with others you meet online.

I only started using it for real in September lol.

My parents don't care lol. I could give out my name. But I don't unless I know the person really well, or they guess it lol. Only because I prefer Demitryx to my true name XDD

I have made some penpals on the internet - only that we never send actual letters to eachother, more like gifts or holiday greetings. :3 Reminds me, I still need to send the birthday gift to a special someone.... *ponders*

 

What's sad is people like me better here then people do in real life. T-T

lolz, I've just started watching Ouran High School Host Club! I'm like 5 min in and it's soooooo funny!

 

thats cause on internet apearences dont matter and real life they do....(not saying your apearence is bad or anything because you could be really hot and still no one would like you because they would think your TOO hot...)
