The only sports I do is at school...but they closed down all school sports like last week. So I just got kicked off Varsity Soccer and Track & Field for no particular reason. T_T...and I worked so hard...

I could actually do without sports... I do cheerleading because I'm a prep and volleyball because I'm good at it... but my main reason that I do sports is to get my more physical (since I don't take P.E) and to keep me from being on the computer all day... If I had to, I could go without it >>

But still, it doesn't seem right tht your school closed all sports programs... They shouldn't be aloud to do that. I thought it was said that all schools must offer some extracurricular activity...? And if you don't like it that much, then try writing a persuasive essay or something saying why they should bring back sports programs ^^

I also agree. I don't do PE and Im never outside the house besides school. And I don't think they have the right ot do that. You should go down to the School Board and complain. That's wrong and they don't have the right to take that away from you! :/

 

I probably could go without it as well...its just 1) parents orders and 2) I wana get a gd resume and transcript for college and all that other crap.

thing is...my school is losing a LOT of funding. For some reason, they're taking away all the "art-related" classes, such as drama and well...art, and after school sports, saying that they drain the cash right out of the school bank and all that other crap. Meanwhile, all our school district superintendents are getting their regular fat paychecks and sit on their lazy bums and do absolutely nothing to improve our crappy school environments. And to make things worst, they're planning to merge two high schools...I live in the suburbs so we only have 2 high schools. (mine is the better one ^_^) Thing is, the other school is so crappy in terms of grades and everything, they wana close that down just to save themselves cash and merge an extra 1500 students into a high school that has 2 buildings (including the gym) and is smaller than a block...

So to put it together, they're planning to increase my school's population from 2000 to about 3600 people. My school is VERY small compared to other schools outside the city, but it's gona have almost double the amount of students. That'll lead to increase of classes from a max. of 35 ppl to almost 60-65 ppl per classroom. Also at the same time, teachers are gona start quitting/get fired and go work at neighboring high schools for easier commute and higher paychecks.

Hell, I can go on forever about all the crap that can happen if everything goes well...but I really don wana go into anymore details...All in all, what pisses me off even more is that if the student population actually happens, my family and I are gona move elsewhere in my state. And I'll have to start EVERYTHING over again when I have almost 2 years before I go to college and when all those REALLY important crap comes in...

man, things just aren't goin very well around where I live...that could b the reason y I'm acting a bit strange lately...

WOOOO, we are the "not-doing-PE" group...but I gota do Judo instead...WHICH IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN RUNNING AROUND A BORING FIELD. At least now I can throw ppl and beat em' up without getting into trouble. ^_^

And we also get to play w/ knives! *puts on evil face*

We've never even had school teams that us girls can really join. And it's all chosen on ablility in PE Classes. So you're only offered if you're really really good, then you try out for the team. But you boys always have it easy when it comes to sport...

Sure we might get some more options, but lets face it, there's gona be competition. And the training's tough no matter wat sport u do. So...it's not as easy as it seems...

Lawl, ur PE class is like the opposite of mine. No matter how bad any1 sucks, we do the same thing. (except swimming)

 

We have no girls teams that I know of. It's kinda sucky. But meh, I'm bad at sports anyway. We have a school 'Cardio Centre' but that's about it really.
