Dear Cap’n I felt an overwhelming sadness of your leaving, and I didn’t know why despite we have never meet in person; as well as me not being here very often and not talking to you or many others as much as I would like to. But I believe the reason I feel this way is because you are someone truly I respect and admire. You have that way of affecting people in a most positive way. I believe this is one of your greatest aspects you will use in your life out there. It’s been an honour serving as your bodyguard, even if you were never able to use me as such. You will be missed, by myself and every other member of this crew.

Aww, I guess saying please don't go won't do anything. However I want you to know that we all think you are amazing and incredible and the best capt'n we could of ever wished for. You'll be missed so so so much. If you ever feel like coming back we'll all be here, waiting. I wish you look in everything you do and hope everything goes well for you. If you ever feel alone, just pop back here and we'll happily remind you that isn't the case. You have lots of people who love and care for you, you've made an impression on all of us. But yeah, have fun no matter where you go and good luck. Don't forget us because we won't forget you.

I think everyone will agree that no matter who takes over the ship in your absence, you will always be our Captain. Nobody could ever replace you, in this or any other way.

 

Aww, I feel kinda bad for leaving, now. Not bad enough to stay, but still. So... being the first officer, you have first dibs on being the next Cap'n. If you don't want to, I'll open it up to applications, perhaps we'll do a vote or something, but the option's up to you.

Thanks, I know thing's'll be different, but I do think you're able to handle it just fine. You're a great RPer, and besides, if we play our hand right, you won't have a whole lot of characters to control when I pass all of mine over to you. You already don't have to worry about the first Riku. XD

This one also makes me sad, but also pretty happy. I didn't really know you very well either, I practically only know what I've heard about you from your sis (No, she doesn't gossip about you, I don't know a whole lot from her), but from what I've heard, you're a pretty fun dude, and who doesn't love Gir? I mean, he's the greatest! XD

However, as much as that makes me happy, I hope that before long, you all begin to see differently. One of the signs of good leadership is when the people you once led are able to work well under the leadership of another. Although I am glad that I will be missed, I hope that whoever replaces me will become just as much your captain as I am now. I don't want them to be treated as a temporary stand-in. The most difficult conditions a leader can face are when the people he/she is trying to lead don't see that person as a leader. Besides, you might even find out that this leader makes a better captain than I do. It might take awhile, because you all are very loyal, but eventually I hope you all come to see the next captain as your captain. A year can seem like a very long time to some people, so you'll have this captain for quite a while. If nobody treats him/her like a captain, the ship will crash and burn. A football team without a coach. Sheep without a shepherd. Organization XIII without Xemnas. You get the picture.

If I do get the position, I only want to be Acting Captain. I could never hope to live up to you as captain.

 

That's... not a great stance to take, really. A year is a fairly long time to be following just an 'acting' Captain.

 

Not necessarily. I'll still be "captain", just one who is willing to step down when the Captain returns. Since it's a temporary job (albiet a long one) I wouldn't need to be "captain", just "Acting Captain."

 

I get what you mean, but any 'replacement' would be willing to step down, I imagine.
I still think you're best suited for the job then. I'd like to be 'Acting First Mate', in that case. xP

 

As a sign of respect for the Captain, I will not speak of taking her job unless she's ok with it. And I still have't decided to do a poll for "Acting First Mate" or just go with who I think should get it.

 

Well you will be the acting captain. Meaning until she comes back you have her authority. So i'd say just go with who you want.

 

Arr Cap'n this be very sad parting for ye. We've had many a good time between my ship and this one, you'll forever be my Pirate adversary, albeit one I respected as a dear friend. I'll miss you, but out of the ashes I hope that the new Captain of this ship can keep things running at the pace they have been. If that's you Loxare then I tip my hat to you and wait for your coronation, we'll hold a 12 gun salute for Marushi and introduce you as new acting Captain.

 

Actually, I was planning on saluting her with all of the cannons and lasers...

 

Well 12 guns is about all I've got left on my ship, the spiders stole the cannons. We'll be needing to make port for more later..

 

I'd attack the spiders and get them back... Anyways, I'm not entirely sure how many cannons we have. I'll ask Rienzel!

Miss Loxare, I am perfectly alright with you taking over as Captain, I just wanted to make sure that's what you wanted. Would you like to be Captain in my stead?

And Droid, yeah, it was fun. You were an excellent adversary, even when you were the only active member of your team, you managed to hold off our attacks for some time. I've told me crew that a Captain is only as good as the crew backing him/her, but you have exceeded that. You were an excellent Captain, even without the crew to help you.
