The Half-Gods

They walked for a while before stopping outside a battered looking building.

 

Jordan sighed. There were 18 books on Gods on his table. 'I don't know who though......Maybe he was one of these but none of them actually stuck out to me.....Maybe I won't find him......' He grabbed his bag and got up from his seat and headed to the front of the library. Jordan then walked down the street slowly to his house.

 

"Is this it?" She asked nervously, she was still shaken up, she held his hand tightly.

 

"Yup" he said happily. He walked through a door and into a rather posh looking room.

 

The cold glass in his hand was almost resonating with Vanis' power. After finishing the drink off he tilted the glass and poured the half melted ice onto his free hand. As the cold ice touched his skin it began to change colour from a fleshy peach colour to an ice-blue as the colour slowly stretched up his arm underneath his clothes. Knowing that people would be either afraid or a danger when they see one of his forms he stood up and walked to an isolated part of the park where he could try to control his powers more and let the cold take over his body slowly instead of forcing it away with great thought. Now his skin was completely pale, he had no heat signature, his eyes where a deep blue, his hair was brittle and white and sparkles of ice dropped from it. He had taken the attributes of the cold, even from a small piece of ice.

 

Leah's mouth dropped open as she walked in to the room, it was amazing. But it filled her already overwelmed brain with more questions. "Wow! I never expected this from outside, how? I mean how do you know about this place? Are we okay to be here?" She couldn't verbalise how many questions she had.

 

Takou smiled at her. "This is where I used to live when i was younger, only you and me know about it, so it should be fairly safe for now"

 

"You-You used to live here? How rich are you?" Leah sighed, she'd thought they were alike, clearly not.

 

"Not rich, just another temporary hide-out, one of my favourites though" He looked around. "Never thought i'd come here again" his face lit up. "Hey!, I remember this, I punched a hole in the wall right there!" He pointed at a gap in the wall.

 

She laughed, still very overwelmed and not really believing what was happening. "This has got to be a dream, this all cannot be real"

 

"It's all real, Honey, and it's only gonna get better from here" he grinned.

 

She shook her head in disbelief, "Seriously? How?" She suddenly ran over to Takou and glomped him, "Do you know you are seriously incredible?"

 

He nearly fell over but gained his balance. He hugged her back "This is just normal life to me, well except the thing back there"

 

She kept hugging him but in her mind she was sad, they were so different. "Wow, your life is amazing"

 

"And now you're part of it, so your's will be too"

 

Leah pulled back to look him in the eyes, "You think so? Mine will never compare to yours" She looked down.

 

"Hey, you're invisible, who would want more than that?!"

 

OOC: She only turns invisibe when she feels fear.

"I'm invisible now?" She looked at her hand, it was still visible. "Oh, but still look at your life. I was nothing before today."

 

OOC: Ooops sorry wrong wording..

"Sure you were, and now you're even more of a somebody"

 

"Not compared to you, I had such a boring life" She sighed and fiddled with her hair.
