"Okay, I can understand you caring about your own race, but could you atleast care about Innes a little more, I mean he's your son! your own flesh and blood!"

 

"No he's not...if he was...He wouldnt be a half-breed."

 

"So, you're saying it's his fault for being what he is?"

 

"No,Its mine....I should've dispposed of him when he was born.."

 

Vincent laughed, "Now Kylie~ how many vampires even care about each other? When I found out Alec's mother was a werewolf. I promplty snapped her filthy neck."

Alec fisted his hands and closed his eyes, thankfully his powers were drained, "You killed my mother? You...said she died, not that you'd killed her..."

 

"Havent you taught him about lying yet Vincent?"she asked rolling her eyes

 

Vincent hissed playfully, "I tried. The boy insists on believing everything I say. He's just a filthy half-breed, why should I take time out of my day to teach him about lying!" He ran a hand over his face.

 

"Why Keep him around then? Or does he stay with you? Innes ran away when he was five..."

 

Vincent smiled though it looked like a snarl, "His powers are helpful. The ability to read others' minds, move objects and show me what he's thinking other than speaking in a room full of vampires with abnormally strong hearing, is quite helpful." He cast a doubtful look at Innes, "I doubt your...that filth has any abilities that could be used for our benifit."

 

He bared his teeth again,turning invisible

 

Vincent feighened shock, "Ooh, that hasn't been seen before. Hmph, c'mon boy, surely you can do better than that. You still make noise. Any conscious vampire would be able to hear you coming. Not all of them are stupid," he added in a lowered voice, "Though most of them are."

Alec willed his powers to communicate with Innes, "We can get away, my father is way to self centered to even notice when I move."

 

"oh boy you and your family problems. You see this would happen if you both knew who your mates really are. Unlike both of you I knew my wife properly and we both had a proper daughter. Even though my daughter is so kind hearted at least she isn't scum" Versago said

Iris had had enough. "I have had enough!" She wrenched herself away from Kylie and found herself in the middle of the group. "I'm sick of this nonsense, so SHUT UP!"

 

"Nonsense? This isnt nonsense...only fact."

 

"No, It's the biggest pile of Crap I have ever heard in my life!"

 

"To you maybe...to us its logic."

 

"Logic? LOGIC!! I'll show you logic!" She picked up one of Dahlia's daggers and lobbed it at Kylie

 

she stepped aside,tossying her dark hair

 

Vincent laughed at her feeble attempts, "This is boring. I'm heading back."

"Father..." His words fell on deaf ears as Vincent disappeared as quickly as he'd come.
