The Hunt

"Hawthorne, Dahlia Hawthorne." She studied Innes carefully. "So what are you? a were-wolf?" She thought of how he bared his teeth at her.

 

"Half."he Muttered"Im..a were-pire."

 

Dahlia smiled slightly. "Then, that makes us sworn enemies..."

 

"Not involved in your pointless war....only trying to find my parents and get free."

 

Dahlia laughed. "No? well, I can involve you in in it right now!" She flicked out her dagger and pointed it at him.

Iris came running up and knocked Dahlia over. "Sis NO!"

 

"Another one?"he hissed

 

Iris turned to Innes, "No, I'm a were-pire, this is my sister, she's a-AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Dahlia had gotten up and sliced a bit of Iris's back open, she licked her lips at the blood seeping out of the wound.

 

Innes snarled,quickly pulling Iris away from her

 

"man you kids sure love to make a lot noise" Said a hooded man sitting against a tree near everybody

 

Dahlia smiled evilly at her sister, then turned to the hooded man, "Watch it, or you'll be next!"

Iris cringed at the pain of her wound, she couldn't believe her sister had gone this far!

 

He glanced at the man

 

"oh dear I'm so scared" the man said with false fear

 

"You should be" Dahlia smirked at him and quickly chucked her dagger at him.

 

He turned to Iris"Are you ok?"

 

"I-I think so, thanks"

 

The hooded man easily moved his head to the side and avoided the dagger easily "if you were trying to scare me you failed…horribly" The man said

 

Dahlia glared hard at the man, "Oooh, just wait till I get my paws on you!"

 

"and then what? Give me a little scratch?" The man said taunting her even more

 

"Come with me,I can get you healed."

 

"GRR, THAT'S IT!" Dahlia exploded into a fit of rage and ran at the guy, throwing a dozen daggers his way.

Iris nodded slowly.
