The Institution

Roy continued to stare at the room.
"Roy!"
Roy jumped from surprise, losing his focus.

 

Neal finished packing. "Okay, Grandpa. We need the gliders."

Grandpa sighed. "Sorry, Neal. They've been stolen."

 

Roy turned to see Katari. "You scare the life out of me."
Katari smiled at Roy. "Sorry but what do you think of this?" She showed him a sword.

 

"Stolen?" Neal asked.

"Yeah, all 1000 of them..." Grandpa sighed.

 

Roy grabbed it from her and studied it. "It seems really good."
Katari smiled greatly. "And it's pretty, too!"

 

Neal nodded. "Any idea who might have done it?"

Grandpa shook his head. "No idea..."

 

Roy sighed. "Okay. Andit's pretty too."
"Yay!"

 

Rhixan rolled her eyes. "Oh YES! Lets just stand around and ask ourselves what to do when you have two perfectly good shapeshifters here." She morphed into a black dog and ran around, sniffing the floor. Looking out the window then back at the others, she changed back. "Not stolen. Destroyed. While the old man was snoozing, people came in, took them for a joyride, returned them but smashed them instead."

 

Luna walked slowly round awestruck, not quite believing what she was seeing, she was amazed by all the weapons, "This place is amazing!" she gasped, then tuned into their conversation, "They took 1000 gliders out for a joyride?"

 

Lilly looked at one of the guns and pulled the trigger making a hole in the wall.
"NO LILLY NO! PUT THAT GUN DOWN!"
Lilly turned around instantly and blushed in embarrassment then curled into a ball.
Cameron walked over to Lilly and picked her up.

 

Zel walked through the streets breathing through his gas mask like helmet looking around then kept walking"Come out of hiding you rats" Zele continued talking to himself.

 

Luna picked up a tiny pistol curiously, she passed it between her hands getting a feel for it, smiled and pretended to shoot the wall with it.

 

Rhixan's ears immediatly pricked up as she reacted to the gun shot.

 

Cameron looked at Rhixan, "Are you alright?"

 

Rhixan blinked and looked at Cameron. "Huh, wha? Oh, I'm fine."

 

"You sure?"
Lilly looked at her worried.
Mia started spinning a knife in between her fingers.

 

Rhixan rubbed her ears and nodded. "I'm fi-" She blinked, looking up.

 

Lilly blinked at her.
Mia stopped and put it down.

 

Rhixan looked around. She couldn't hear anything. That gunshot had burst her eardrums, making her deaf.

 

Lilly looked at her and started to tear up.
Mia looked over at Cameron, "Oh what did she do now?"
"I don't know but whatever she did it hurt her feelings."
Lilly signed out 'I'm sorry'
