The Keyblade War-Breath of the Future

Phantoam activated the map, found the crack and then the small white orb appeared in ther center of the room. "Here we go again" phantoma said.

 

Mixt nodded, ready for the dimensional jump.

 

The orb expanded and Mixt and Phantoma appeared over the ocean in port royal. "Aw crap" Phantoma said as they both hit the water hard.

 

Mixt transmuted a sample of water into an underwater breather, taking oxygen from the water so he could breath while he allowed the weight of his armor to pull him down.

 

Phantoma opened a short range portal to a small deserted island. He the sctivated a beacon for his ship.

 

After that said Phisoxa felt like leaving Aia alone for a bit, she didn't blame those hurtful words on Aia though but still, they go through to her and again she was worried as she drifted off into the corner and sat down at a lonesome booth in the bar. She could hardly take notice that her seven year old son was wandering a bar full of reckless adults.
However in a matter of minutes Atem spotted her and gestured for Zero to follow as he ran over to the booth, escaping the criticizing looks of the adults in the bar who disaproved of his presence.
Atem:" Mother, you are alright !!"
The boy exclaimed as he stood near the booth and smiled.
Phisoxa:" Atem you rowdy thing, I thought I told you to stay where it was safe under Nuthura and Dante's watch."
Atem:" But Ma, I can't have you and dad out on the move while leaving me to do nothing."
Phisoxa:" Fine whatever, but this place is simply not safe anymore now that you are here. This world already belongs to Mixt and it will likely be a place Mixt will come to. If he does come I know you will try and attack him again and Mixt would rather enjoy fighting you then refusing.I can't have you getting hurt. You, Aia, and your friend Zero will have to come along with me to Wonderland, it is one of places with some of the worse possible resistance. I have no idea if Mixt is going to take down the more harder to obtain worlds first or the weaker ones but we shall hide there. Perhaps in the forest away from the queen's forces, because apparently the queen will flip her lid if she sees any keybearer in her parts, so if we are out in the open try not to use your keyblade if we are in her company."
She said as she got up and walked over to Aia who seemed to be sobered up enough to keep her sanity and Phisoxa helped her up and allowed her to lean on her for support so Aia wouldn't trip over her own feet due to her drunken attitude and just like that Phisoxa popped through another portal and closed it when Zero and Atem made their way inside. The portal had lead itself to the forest in Wonderland which had fallen under nighttime, Phisoxa walked through the tall grass towards a cluster of lantern light in the deeper part of the forest without thought.
Atem:" Uh mom, do you know where you are going? You can't just walk onto somebody's property, especially out in the woods."
Phisoxa:" Shh . . ."

 

Mixt sank down and took a seat at the bottom of the ocean in his meditative style. He kind of like being underwater, it was soothing. Perhaps he should go for Atlantica next. It definately wouldn't be an easy sell. However if he just went to take it there were only two people who were capable of fighting back, Triton and Ursula.

Mixt opened a portal to Atlantica, due to the world's magic Mixt was transformed into a merman with a shark tail upon arival and since both locations were underwater there was no overflow by using a dark corridor. Mixt started to swim out towards Triton's Palace.

 

After a small trip through the deep brush, Phisoxa helped Aia through the gap in the trees where the lantern light most boldly shone and they all game to open area in the middle of the forest with a large and long table covered in dishware and teasets alike but there was no one here, it seemed it had been deserted not too long ago.
Phisoxa:" Looks like the hatter's bunch was hauled off to court again, probably for something minor. I guess we will have to make do her and perhaps use their cottage as a place to rest for the night, anyways its not safe to wander the woods of wonderland at night. I don't think the beds inside of the house are big enough to fit an adult like me, but I'm pretty sure Atem could fit and I will allow Aia to sleep on the couch but anyways I will just build a fire and sleep outside perhaps. Atem make sure not to wander off the property okay, stay put."
She said as she helped Aia to the small cottage a stationed a few feet away from the site of the "tea party" area and helped her to bed and from the effects the of the alcohol, Aia fell asleep quickly and deeply. Phisoxa hurried outside with a sleeping pad and a few blankets and assembled them by the burning camp fire that sat outside near the teatable.
Atem:" Mom I don't want to sleep in the cottage I want to sleep outside with you, please?"
Phisoxa sighed and gestured for him to join her in her bed near the fire. The two managed to fit perfectly on the pad together without being too squeezed in. Once settled in, the two stared up at the stared up the starry sky above silently till Atem interrupted the peace and quiet with a question.

" When my new brother or sister is born what are we going to do then? Are we going to continue to run from him?"
". . . . I don't really known yet, but I will figure out something soon."

 

Zero hear all thy said and wander ...will she fight after she give birth... he smile and midory came out of at portal "well let help her love you know that she is hard headed but nice" zero smile and walk out side "your right leg go say goodbye to her" zero and midory came and next to to her "well phisoxa it was a nice time but take care of you and atem we try to stop mixt "

 

OOC: we are skipping a little bit in the chapter towards the end of it where Phisoxa gives birth and Mixt finds the location of the resisters and attacks the small world Phisoxa, Atem, and the rest of the resistance live. Phisoxa, Atem, Nuthura, and the others would be on the world. As Zero you would be following Mixt and Raxtion and Nny I don't know where you would be at this point of time or what side they are on, Mixt's, the resistance, or Phantoma's, but you can figure that out. Sooooo . . .

Eight Months later. . . . upon the world of Twilight Town . . .

The sun was setting once again, but it seemed like forever. It's golden rays reached far upon the warm buildings that dotted the small picturesque town. A young boy sat upon the brick laden road near the edge of the cliff that the down sat upon. Looking upon the grassy outskirts in the distant unknown. His white hair which had grown longer over these long eight months had been tied back into a small ponytail. His body seemed at peace, but his mind was full of worry. A young woman walked behind the boy and patted him on the head. She had long black hair that hung freely about her shoulders and crimson eyes.

Aia:" Its okay Atem, you should not have to worry, it is her decision if she wishes to go after your father."

Atem:" But Nuthura . . . . I can't allow mother to try and fight, especially only after a day of giving birth to my little brother. She barely had anything to spend with him and now she intends on going out to fight. What if she dies during battle, how do you think I would explain that to my little brother, that our father killed our mother, only a day after he was born. "

Aia:" But the thing is, knowing your mother she wouldn't allow herself to be killed so easily. She'd give your father a piece of her mind first before she'd fall."

Atem:" But Nuthura, mother is still in bed recovering, how do you expect her to be so sure of things when she isn't done recovering yet? Shes too tired and weakened to try and fight such a battle in her state. It will get her killed easily. Plus father will be here anytime soon, after hearing the news from those who live on the grassy outskirts, a man by his description has been wreaking havoc upon the smaller residences that line the valley behind those distant hills. He will get here soon enough. Thank god mother gave birth to my brother at this time, but still it wasn't early enough."

The boy said as he gripped his knees tightly, looking unhappy as a woman called his name from a open window in a townhouse down the road. It was his half older brother and sister's old house from long ago, but it proved useful these past months hiding out from his father's wave of power. Atem stood up and ran towards the open door of the house, Nuthura stood sweeping the floor as her 6 year old son played with a wooden sword. The townhouse next door had been purchased with Phisoxa's help and connected to the first house to provide room for everyone, so it was much bigger then the house used to be before. Nuthura stepped out of his way as he ran inside and headed to the bedroom that sat on the first floor, which belonged to his mother.

Atem opened the door and walked into the spacious, lightly furnished room and in the middle of the room a bed sat where Phisoxa sat within the covers, looking at him with exhausted eyes and slightly pale skin. Telltale signs of a long painful night without sleep and full of pain. But she still had a warm smile which welcomed him. A silent bundle sat in her arms.

Atem:" What is it Mother?"

Phisoxa:" Oh nothing, just checking on you, you seemed rather troubled lately."

Atem:" You know, he will be entering town anytime soon. Even now he could be making his way here. If he does pop up, do you plan on jumping out of bed and going after him in that state? Please mom, just let the forces you gathered take him on, don't go it alone !!"

 

Mixt sat under a tree in the green expanse. All was going acording to plan. Let the resistance build and then stomp it all out at once. With all the breaks Mixt had presented them, the victory would be undisputed. He had already made his presence known. Now all that was left was for Phisoxa to recover, and then he would make his stand.

 

Phisoxa:" I'm fine actually I just needed a nap after not sleeping for a few nights. Now that I got that I can get up without trouble. Anyways if the resistance does plan to launch an attack, they can't do it without me, I may have taught them what to expect when they come up against Mixt, but still they don't understand him purely like I do."
She said stroking the ring that sat on her pale finger and grinning.
Atem:" Mother why on earth do you still wear that, why remained married to him? You should of separated a long time ago . . . that man, he is not the father he once "used" to be."

Phisoxa:" It is because I still have hope for him, the old Mixt never left, he's just being influenced by that blanket of darkness that shrouds his mind."
She said as she got up from the bed and changed into some more suitable clothing. Then she carried her newborn in her arms and carried him out of the room and then she handed him to Nuthura.
Phisoxa:" If anything happens to me, take both the baby and Atem in and flee from this place using the tunnel systems with Riku and the others, Dante will house you in Sarca."
Nuthura:" But mother, you are planning to go now? Your baby is barely a couple days old, that would be unfair to the child if you went out and killed yourself in your stubbornest."
Phisoxa:" I will be fine, I'm telling you. . . "
She said walking out of the house without saying another word to anyone. Nuthura shut the door after Phisoxa exited and locked it shut while put a chair up against it. Phisoxa stood at the edge of the cliff where Atem had been earlier and stared out over it. Her long white hair flowing in the wind, behind her a few men stopped and stood behind her.
" So is time that we declare war?"
Phisoxa:" Indeed it is time,we shall venture towards the grassy outskirts and perhaps try to stop Mixt there before even comes to the city,but in the meantime, make sure anyone who is not fighting in this battle stay secluded in the city, nobody shall venture out. If Mixt breaches the city tell all the women and children to take shelter in the train station. If we shall ever fail, the shall take the tunnels out of here and leave. My daughter and her husband will know where to go. But remember save most of the battle with Mixt himself for me, you shall make sure to fend off any heartless or any assistants he has brought along."
She said as the men nodded their heads and shouted loudly to signal that it was finally time to get ready.

OOC: I'm on a ghetto computer at the moment so rather than waste time with color tags I'm just going to do the dialogue with Evron script style. It is all still in Mixt's heart.

Mixt stared up at the heavens as he waited. Knowing Phisoxa she's already discussing preperations for an attack. I imagine it won't be long before she realizes I'm not coming either.
Evron: But why not? You could simply demolish them now. Heck you could destroy this whole world if you wanted to.
Mixt: Yes but that would hardly prove anything. This battle is about more than a basic uprising. And besides this world is too important for that.
Evron: Prove what to who?
Mixt: Prove my strength to future rebellers. This battle will prove once and for all that no one can oppose me.
Evron: But why put so much in thier hands? If this wasn't us I would call this suicide.
Mixt: Because, I don't want a single soul to believe that if they could just change something here that they would be able to succede where the battle today failed. This battle is only coming to pass because I permitted it.

The tree behind Mixt vanished and formed itself into Mixt's alter helmet as Mixt casually got to his feet.

Evron: I thought you just said that you weren't going to attack them.
Mixt: I'm not, this is just for fun.

Mixt faded away and made his aproach on the city.

 

Phisoxa decided it would be her to run outside first and confront him if he had indeed been on his way. She signaled her forces to lay in wait while she dashed outside of the city and onto the outskirts that met with it. She then sat down on the grass, seeming to be waiting and watching for any sign of movement, while the town behind her lay quiet.

Meanwhile . . .
Back at the house, Atem was getting very restless, feeling as is he was left out of his parents' problems again. He hated being powerless to stop them, so he stood up and tried to pull the chair away from the door while Nuthura was too busy fussing over his little brother and unlocked the door. When Nuthura looked up, it was too late, he had already opened the door and took off running down the road outside.
Nuthura:" Atem !!! No wait !!! Stop !!"
She said as attempted to stop him but couldn't because she couldn't run after him with a baby in hand. Atem ignored her pleas for him to stop and continued, pushing past the quiet crowds of fighters who seemed too fixated on what was going on outside to notice him. Atem then stood in the archway staring over at his mother who just sat on the grass.

 

Mixt noticed the crowd on the horizon and stopped. There were a lot of people there and Mixt was begining to question if this was worth his time. There was no stratigecal advantage to his attacking now. Since Mixt had already shown himself near town they had an eye open for him. Mixt flashstepped to his right to make a counter clcockwise circle around the town, looking for any openings.

 

Phisoxa closed her eyes and just sat there, she could sense Mixt nearby but she tried not to pursue, not yet.
" Mixt, why would you try and take this city for your own when you can't even obliterate it's strongest warrior? Why sneak in? I thought you came here to fight not sneak about . . . come here, I know you are here, try to sneak it now and I will just follow you."
She said as she spoke to him without looking at him, loudly announcing it to him when he came close enough for him to hear.

 

two shadow appeared one next to phisoxa and one next to atem the person pull the robe of and midory was under it "hi dear how have you been " she said whit her arm cover in scar and her cloths were different "dont go mixt is here in town but you know that already don't you"

zero grab atem by the head and mess his hair up and look at him "hi atem how are you " he said also been cover in scar " hey atem you know right he is here "

 

Phisoxa:" Hes not in town exactly Midory, he hasn't even found a opening through my defenses. So are you and Zero on his side or. . .?"
She said with her eyes still closed and still sitting on the grassy ground.

Atem:" I know that he is here, not get out of my way so I can get to him before mom can."

 

Mixt used the cover of the forest surrounding the mansion to make his entrance. Between the wind and wildlife it would be impossable for someone who could not sense him to notice his perence. Taking to the roof tops of the tram common Mixt noted that getting into the city had been the easy part. He had chosen to leave his mark at the heart of the town and that was surely going to be guarded as well. Was it worth the trouble? probably not but if it looked like it was going to make a fight to early he could always turn back later.
