Phisoxa:" We are leaving town, I'm glad you didn't harm it but still . . . I have other reasons to come after you instead of just defending that town."

 

"Did you honestly not know the world on which you chose to hide out? There is so much more here than just a simple town on a mountain side." Mixt commented.

 

Phisoxa:" I have only ever ventured in the outskirts once, but I haven't ever gone this far."
She said following him .

 

"You will see soon." Mixt said as they walked farther. Eventually Mixt stopped where the path split into three others creating basically a + "Now do you see?" Mixt asked.

 

Phisoxa:" A crossroads out here? That wouldn't make since, some of these roads wouldn't lead anywhere at all. "
She said standing in the middle of it as Atem dove down into the long grass to avoid being seen by Phisoxa, he would make his move when the time felt right.

 

"Not just a crossroads, the crossroads. This world is one of few that exists between the planes of light and darkness. And as such this is one of few areas that such a place could exist. Where you can stand and choose what path to follow. The Darkness. The Light. Or Twilight." Mixt motioned to each path in turn as he mentioned them.

 

zero jump next to phisoxa and stare at mixt "hi cute lady how have you been " he smile and and got ready for what mixt will do midory look at mixt and phamtoma "hi mixt your hard to keep up whit "

 

Phisoxa:" So you followed us? Are you sure you aren't Mixt's servant still Zero."
She said looking off into the distance.
Phisoxa:" And yes, I know of crossroads, just not this one, the one I remember was . . well I think its all a dream or a misinterpreted memory, but the night when the sky became the darkest it has ever been, the stars bright . . . I was lost, lost in the middle of one of those crossroads. Everytime I stepped forward the road behind me disappeared and eventually I saw a light , the light of the moon and the youthful face of my brother before he became forsaken."
She said as her hair flowed calmly in the wind.

 

"come now dear i toll you i will stop him and you dont have to worry about it but the baster is fast all this time and now we got to him " zero smile and look at her "so what now will you fight in your status you die " said midory to her

 

"Do you truly believe you can stop me Zero? Let me remind you of something" Mixt outstretched his hand and a dark shape formed onto the ground as if it was spilling out from his arm. Slowly the darkness bulged and grew into a human like form and stood to its full towering height of Darkside. "I am a master of heartless. You may be able to resist full control since you found a body and soul to call yourself human, but as long as you hold your corrupted heart you won't be able to fully attack me simply because I won't allow it."

 

Phisoxa:" Men and their unnecessary acts of violence. Tell me when you two are finished showing off then maybe I will start taking things seriously."
She said as she folded her arms under her breasts and sat on the hill next to where Atem was hiding. Atem shrunk deeper into the grass when he saw his mother come closer. There was a few brief moments of silence and then Phisoxa slowly shifted her eyes over to where Atem was hiding and he froze. Then Phisoxa suddenly threw her keyblade through the air and it landed in the dirt in front of Atem ,scaring him half to death.
Phisoxa:"Don't think I wouldn't see you there, I thought I told you to stay behind with Nuthura and yet you follow me again. You go back to the city now Atem or I will yank you up by that downy white hair and drag you back there."
Atem:" But mom, I should be allowed to come with you, hes my father you know,I haven't seen him in so long anyways."
Phisoxa:" Yes hes your father alright, but the bad thing is, you inherited his damn ambition and curiosity. And don't think you are going to get a chance to fight him, its too dangerous."

 

"I'm just trying to make sure your friend doesn't get ahead of himself. But what about you? Asking that things not get violent after spending the last several months forming a resistance force seems a bit hypocritical. If you thought that just talking would change anything you would have done so a long time ago." Mixt commented.

 

Phisoxa:" I could of easily sent them after you at anytime, but alas I didn't, I waited for you to come to me in order to attack."
she said closing her eyes and allowing the wind to brush against her skin.
Atem:" Father, why don't you just give it up already, you already own half the galaxy, why don't you just come home."
He said shouting out after walking out from the wall of tall grass.

 

"Actually Atem you fall a bit short of the mark. I have personally only visited about half the worlds, this is true, but you underestimate my reach. Just as your mother has been gathering those that are less than loyal to me, I have a following of those that are particularly helpful to my cause. I have divided them in seven teams. Greed to handle finances, Sloth for morale, Lust for infrastructure, Gluttony for comestibles, Envy for interplanetary relations, Wrath for militia, and Pride as my personal council. I currently have members of Pride out acting as ambassadors and bringing worlds into my empire on my behalf. Obviously I'll visit all of them myself in time but it will speed up the process when I only have to affirm and not coax. As a matter of fact this is the last world before every world is carrying my banner. I put it off as long as I could to give you time to build up a proper resistance. Don't worry, no member of Wrath or any other squad is here. I stand before you alone, a one man army. And yes Phantoma, that means no consumers. Perhaps a few heartless if I feel it necessary to prevent group attacks but I'm not sure even that will be necessary."

 

Atem:" But really father, I would follow you to hell and back if you only continued to show me and mom love,but something isn't right about this. Not at all. You haven't even attempted to see my little brother, you are more interested in power then family."
Phisoxa:" Atem calm down, why would it matter he literally stabbed me in the back before back during the great war. Its nothing of a surprise to me."
Atem:" But mom you said you still had hope for him."

 

"It seems fate has a thing for the days of my children's birhs..." There was a moment of silence before Mixt finally turned slowly to finally face them. "There is a difference between hope and trust Atem. Your mother hopes that I would return to her side and thus still wears our wedding ring, but she does not trust that I will and thus formed the resistance to stop my path. In the same way I hoped that when my time came to fall that you would be the one to defeat me. But I don't trust that you have the heart to do it, yet."

 

ooc:Time to break the fourth wall

BIC: "You know what, I find it funny since I showed up and said Hi I have not had a line since the time skip" Phantoma said with a bleak look.

 

Atem:" But father I do not intend to kill you, even with the things you have done. I refuse to, the only I wish for, is for you to come back."
He said as he shouted, a distressed look in his eyes, but Phisoxa walked over and put a hand on a shoulder to keep him from running at the man and she pushed him onto the ground.
Phisoxa:" Stay there and don't move."
She said as she began walking towards Mixt, she reached her hand up into the air and her key warped into her hand and then she stopped only a couple inches away from him and looked him in the eyes.

 

Mixt's eyes were stoical but it was hard to tell if this was simply because he didn't feel strongly about anything going or if he was trying to suppress them. "So, Phisoxa, we stand here at the cross roads, but our paths are already chosen. Yours of light and mine of shadow. I joined you before, lit from the west by the setting sun. Would you join me? Lit from moon and stars that shine in the jet black sky?"

 

A few moments of silence pasted and then the unexpected came from her mouth.
Phisoxa:" I . . . I'll join you if you leave this town and everyone within it alone. . . as well don't try to come after Atem till he is old enough to understand. I'd rather give in then have this child see his mother killed before him. "
Atem:" Mom what are you doing !!"
