The Keyblade War-Breath of the Future

Abel shouted at both of them "No! I won't leave. It's my duty to protect the people" Abel took another swing at Zero. Maybe if he couldn't help out much directly he could at least help this guy out. He seemed strong enough to take care of things if given the opening.

 

Sophie:" You heard him kid, watch it, you don't want to get hurt. Anyways you look kind of familiar, have we met before?"
She said as she stood to her feet, only towering over the kid by a few feet.

Atem:" I thought you were on my side and for you to come and stab me in the back, but thats me, always attracting the worse of the betrayers."
He said dodging Zero's attack and spinning his keyblades around as he did a back flip and slammed his blades into him with tremendous force.

Phisoxa too was watching she had run to the front of the tiny crowd who had gathered to watch.
Phisoxa:" I can't believe it, our son has grown son much and so powerful. . . he looks so much like you."

 

Abel slowed down enough to look Sophie over. "I don't think so." Abel said a bit confused but quickly snapped back to his battle state of mind "This isn't about getting hurt. If it was, you would of left by now"

'Your right. Even compensating for him still using my key, he is easily stronger than he was when we last saw him.'

 

zero took the blow and bleed "your death wrong atem am on your side but the way you are now you are weak you know my power is to use the darkness in people heart to make me stronger now tell me who do you thing i been using my power on " midory let go of sophie "sophie is your name right please help me stop that boy atem need to get over this whit zero help "

 

Sophie:" Yeah, but we need to stop this fight in general, if Atem gets too fired up, he might as well destroy the city as well, and that means hurting innocent bystanders !!"
She said looking increasingly worried as Nemo tried to counsel Atem.
Nemo:" Atem lower your anger, you need to think first before trying to destroy him with brute force."
Atem gripped the handle of his keys tightly, trying to bring down the stress within him and then he reduced his breathing back to normal and his face seemed calm now.
Atem:" I will not fight, especially in such a place such as this and for such a stupid reason."
He said as he dropped one of his keyblades and threw it on the ground declaring surrender as he turned around to stare back down the hill at the small crowd with a deadly look and they quickly dispersed, leaving Mixt and the cat in plain view.
Atem:" I thought I'd never see your meddlesome face around here, father . . . "

 

Abel did a double take "'Father'? You mean you're Atem?" Abel asked, having not noticed how much he looked like Mixt in the heat of battle.

"Well I thought I would leave you some time to meet Abel before you noticed me and spoiled the moment. But obviously that isn't going to happen. You've grown quite powerful in these past years, Atem."

 

zero look at mixt and and got in front of atem "atem i know that you dont belief me but am on your side " midory saw him and went to strike mixt "you why are you here "

 

Atem:" It seems hasn't influenced you too much, that is good and also, I have been getting stronger just for you father, just for you. After I got you under my claw, I will make sure to bring back mother. She awaits her awakening in the portal void peacefully and I shall not leave her. But . . . even with this strength I will not fight you, not yet anyways."
He said speaking to Mixt even though Zero blocked his path.

 

Mixt held up a hand witch did two fold. First, it for bid her from her attacking reducing the force of the attack dramatically. Second, it transmuted a rock wall from the ground to block what remained of her attack. "Why must you be so agressive? Can't a father vist his son?"

Abel stood back in shock. He knew chemistry between the two of them wasn't great but seeing it first had was something else. Until now he had been hoping that two of them would make up and he could learn Atem's side of the story. Now he was just hoping they didn't try to kill eachother.

Mixt smiled. "It is good to know that you've found some drive. I remember last time you were refusing to atack me just before you tried to tear me to shreds. But you still have the sense to know it is not time yet. Mixt walked over and too a seat next t Atem.

Abel was scared since there was still such tension but followed his father and sat down next to Mixt

 

"what after all you did hell no" zero look at a him and pointed his keyblades at mixt heart to use his power on

 

Phisoxa wandered over to Abel and sat by his leg.
Phisoxa:" My body is still there ? That means I come back, possibly , but why haven't I managed to come back? My heart and body should have reunited by now, but it seems something is missing. . . preventing me from reuniting with my body. I wonder what . . . if I am a dream I should have come back on my own by now."
She said as she looked up at Abel and then over at Atem.
Atem rested his eyes on the cat and chuckled slightly.
Atem:" So you show a pet cat more compassion then your own son? you are getting worse by the minute father."

 

"Go ahead Zero, search out as much darkness as you like, it isn't going to make a difference with me. Esspecially considering it's you" Mixt commented. Turning to Atem he continued the conversation "Well I haven't been all that compassionate to her." Mixt unconciously rubbed his wedding ring with his thumb for a second before continuing. "That was some areo spell you had there. I still remember when you were trying to make chickens fly."

 

midory look at the cat she fell tremendous light emitting from the cat but the not wanted to wasted time on her she jump am summon heartles no mater how useless it was to try and slow him down zero stay put and block mixt "get away from atem you try to be a father now after all you done tell me do the boy know abut his mother "

 

Phisoxa:" I can't do anything to help but. . . if Atem knew, then maybe that might help him find more clues. . . but in turn revealing myself will freak them out . . . I must do what I must.
Phisoxa said as she scurried up the side of the hill and sat in the midway of it, in between of where Mixt and Atem were sitting and where Abel stood and shouted.
" Hey . . . !!!"
After that there was a complete moment of silence, perhaps from the weirdness of the event.

 

'Well, yes and no' Evron said in Mixt's head refering to the cat

"I've told Abel before. Atem and I were fighting when Phisoxa stopped us by stepping between us. The fight ended but she didn't survive. Not exactly what I would call my proudest moment. But it seems time that all of you learned a bit more about that..." Mixt said looking at Phisoxa the whole time.

 

Atem:" Even worse, your cat can talk . . . I think I haven't been sleeping too well because this can't be real."
He said with a chuckle as Phisoxa shook her head and folded her down her ears in response as she ran up to Atem and sat at his feet.
Phisoxa:" Look here boy, I have been stuck in the body of a furry little animal for nearly nine years and yet all you can do chuckle off about it. I couldn't speak to anybody but that man and his parasitical friend for 9 years, watching your little brother Abel grow up and I couldn't do nothing to interfer. . . "

Atem:" Hmmm. . . so what you mean is there is a actual person inside there. . . I wonder who."

Phisoxa:" Don't play stupid with me young man. . . you know exactly who I am. . . who else would have the guts to look you in the eyes and threaten you besides your own family."

Atem froze for a moment and stared at Phisoxa, he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Atem:" Mom . . . .? How did she get into the body of a cat . . . ? Nevermind, that how are you still alive?"

 

"Well minus why she takes the form of a cat I can answer that. Your time with him was brief but I trust you remember Evron? An artificial heart that was placed inside of my own to keep it alive? It seems I'm a magnet for that sort of phenomena. When your mother sacrificed herself her hear and soul came to rest with mine. But rather than an alternate personality like Evron she takes the form of a cat beside me. I think the fact that she has a soul and Evron doesn't has something to do with it."
'Hey! watch who you accuse of having no soul'
"That wasn't an insult Evron, you literally have no soul. You just use mine" Mixt responded out loud despite the fact Phisoxa was the only other one that could hear the other side of the conversation.
'You still don't have to be so blunt about it'
"Okay then how would you like me to put it?"
'I prefer the term 'Spiritually Challenged''
"No you don't. You just made that up now"

 

Atem:" I guess this is what she meant by a dream never truly fades, but why haven't you attempted to bring yourself back?"

Sophia:" I don't know, something is keeping me back, as if something else was taken from my body other then my heart and soul. Does anybody else besides us know where my body is?"

 

zero look shock as he hear what she said "phisoxa so you are alive i fell guilty for not bean able to help you why do Evron or who is inside mixt i dont give a rat" zero star to to give out aura if mixt make a move be ready

 

"Zero, calm down. I'm not going to attack anyone. I promised Phisoxa I wouldn't and I stand by that. I can only battle Atem when he is old enough to understand who I am, and considering the events that happened the day Atem was born, I don't think I'll live long enough for that. So if you really want to make sure a fight doesn't break out then you need to stop him from attacking me, not the otherway around."

At a loss for anything to say, Abel looked around and saw that Atem's friends seemed to be in the same spot. Abel took some comfort in that but was still bewildered at what was going on. A cat that turned out to be his dead mother, his brother was even stronger than the stories had led him to believe, creatures that he could barely hurt at all... It was too much for him to take in all at once.
