Nemo jumped at the sound but Sophie and Atem seemed perfectly calm.
" My oh my, hey Phantoma, if you had come earlier you wouldn't have missed out on the show."
Atem said speaking to nothingness.

 

"yes well, I'm a busy person. I don't have time to play around" Phantoma said to them all.

 

" We aren't exactly playing around if that is what you mean, anyways may I ask you something? Do you have any idea on why my mother Phisoxa hasn't been able to bring herself back? We have her heart and body, but . . . for some reason something else is missing. . . "
Atem responded.

 

"I know somethings missing, I took it" Phantoma said casuially.

 

"You What?" Abel asked, anger returning to his voice again as he tightened his grip on his sword again.

 

" Oh I see, I suspected you had to know something . . . so what did you take and why?"
Atem said a concerned look on his face, but it didn't seem that he would loose his temper yet.

 

"the key to her very existence, the thing that has kept her alive. Without it she will fade away and be forgotten" Phantoma said.

 

" I thought what Mother said wasn't true. . . now . . . wait, how is it possible for a dream to become a physical form?"
Atem said looking confused.

 

Abel shook his head "I don't know, Father didn't say. But you protected her boday and father protected her heart; whatever it was that allowed her to, that must be what he took."

 

"A dream can take physical form threw shear will and a special treasure. Apon taking a form the dream will start losing power if another treasure isn't used to constantly supply them with aditonal power. With out that treaure she will fade, even split as she is she will still fade" Phantoma said.

 

" So why the hell do you need her 'treasure' ? It's not like you are a dream yourself?"
He said staring at him sternly.

 

"Who said I need it, you need it and thats what I plan on. You see a treasure is made for each dream, you can't just grab any treasure it has to be one made for the dream or it won't work. For that you can help me or find a dream forger" Phantoma said.

 

"And something tells me that you made sure the 'dream forger' route will conveniently not work. So Why don't you get to the point you want to already?" Abel asked, allowing the stress he was under out at Phantoma.

 

" Fine then, what is it that you need help with anyways?"
Atem said calmly as he sat down a top a crate within the alleyway they were walking down.

 

"You must be Abel, what has your father told you about me?" Phantoma asked.

 

"That you remind him of a friend and rival he used to have. Something about keeping to your own agenda. If it lines up with ours you could be a great help, but more likely it won't and you'll be an obsticle." Abel said. Mixt may have mentioned him, but meeting him felt very different. Something about him made it seem like he had vast amounts of power at his disposal even though he had yet to do anything but talk to them.

 

"I never knew I was so transperent. Anyway, a coalition of Factions is gathering, you are all invited" Phantoma said before his presence faded.

 

Between the fact that the talk with his brother earlier made Abel more comfortable in the group without him even realizing it, and the contrast that Phantoma's appearance gave Abel finally relaxed and let go of his sword. "So what is this a bout a coalition of factions? Father didn't set up anything like that."

 

" A meeting? What exactly is the objective for this meeting might I ask?"
Atem said leaning his chin into his palm.
