Mixts communicator started to beep, the transport was trying to talk yo him.

 

Mixt flipped up a pannel on his armor showing a video screen. "Mixt here"

 

A young girl was on the other end.
Girl: Mixt, do you know were phantom is, we are going to fight him.

 

Mixt looked at #9 as he said "I think I've got a lead."

Girl: We know that.
9: Then withdraw your order.
Girl: Its not an order.
9: Huh.

 

"Are you from light or darkness?" Mixt asked

 

Girl: Does it matter, we have the same purpose to fight. Even if we die. We lost our comrades, some have even lost their entire familys.

Girl: If so, then thats our duty, the duty of us survivers.

 

"And recklessly throwing away your lives is really going to honor those that have died?" Mixt asked rhetorically.

The side of the transport exploded and it crashed near them. A Phantom fighter flew over them, the survivers got out and started to shoot at the fighter.
Girl: We are going to the island, with or without your help.

9: I guess I can help.

 

"How much of a difference do you hope to make taking down a fighter cruiser?"

 

Girl: But he on land, in the secret place.

 

"Or so I've been told" said Mixt

 

Girl: We have to try.

A group of phantoms came from behined and started to fight the solders.
9: We are running out of time, and bodys.

 

Mixt was silent for a second "Did Raxion have anything to do with this decision?"

 

Girl: No. LETS GO!!
She, 9 and the troops left towards the island.

 

Raxtion was laying on the beach of the island getting a tan "ah, this is the life... I don't have a care in the universe.... and the war won't find me here..." suddenly he heard the explosion and the gun fire "well, that didn't last very long..."

 

The cretures that were along with the mechs were insect like but they were twice the size of a normal person
