    What is an MEP?
    ​
    MEP stands for Multi Editor Project. Multiple editors working together on one project. Despite most MEPs usually using one song, one band, or one theme, this project will be more like a worm. Everybody makes a small video and in the end, we'll combine them together to form a whole video to showcase our editors.

    - Video Sources -​

    Since this is a Kingdom Hearts community, the allowed video sources will be Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Disney. Other sources unfortunately won't be allowed.

    - Song Selection -​


    Anything you want it to be but keep it PG-13.

    - Editing -​

    The editing style all depends on the track. If the track is fast-paced, the editing should reflect that, and likewise with a slow song. Use whatever style suits you best, though. Having different styles in this MEP is what I'm shooting for, as having all the tracks look the same isn't fun or appealing at all. This is a collection of our styles all in one project and I want it to look that way.

    - Rules -​


    - One of our lovely purple monsters, Stardust, will be the co-coordinator of this project. Her word shall be law! Listen or fear the banhammer*shot*

    - If you join the MEP, I expect you to be active or I will hunt you down. You are to keep everyone involved in the MEP up to date with your progress. Be it a little or a lot. I would like to know where everyone stands on their tracks. So try to keep us updated.

    - There is no limit on participants and no restriction on who can participate based on post count or join date, so everyone is free to join up!

    - At the moment, the time limit hasn't been decided on yet. It'll be determined by how many editors will be participating in the project.

    - No bumpers, watermarks, or anything of the such. They're very distracting and people will be able to find out who made what part just by looking at the description.

      you don't need a certain program, just something to make the video. And we don't know when the due date will be, but you have the rest of summer basically to do it without time constraint

      Yeah, I might have to change my song which is too bad since I really like the song I picked out. I actually did have to cut the song a bit because I wanted the chorus to repeat more than just once. However, I cannot seem to make it sound smooth, which is strange because I have gotten very talented with cutting songs, but this one just does not want to behave. :(

      I'm tyring to find a song that I can use the chorus, because that's the fun part. That's why I'm using Tears Don't Fall. However, from what I planned, it was around a minute. If it doesn't work, I'll just do something new, because I'm finishing this, since it's turning out really good imo

      Ok, I managed to finish what I had planned. Please tell me if I need to shorten it or work a bit more on it. You could say this is the outline of what I want to do with the video

      Have you considered Final Cut?

      And yeah, I've gotta get going on my MEP. Probably gonna get it done today or tomorrow.
      As of software, I use Sony Vegas. Probably gonna go with 7, even though I have 10 as well.

      I don't understand why everybody is rushing in their entries. Take your time guys! I haven't even decided on a deadline yet. Right now the focus is gathering people then we'll sort out the details.

      Me and Star haven't decided on a deadline yet. I'm thinking around August but I don't know yet.

      Changed my song due to a bust of inspiration. It's To The Stage by Asking Alexandria, but there's no cursing and no screamo. It's the most normal part of the song, the very end, and the time is about 1:02 so it also fits the limit. I'm set, now I just have to finish more than 14 seconds an hour and i'll be good. X)

      if we need to keep it under a minute now, I need to change my song, so I'm thinking of either using Move or Everyone Like Me by Thousand Foot Krutch. Move works pretty well, since I can make it around 47 seconds

      Sorry, I'm just a tad bit stressed since camp is coming up and I know I will be really busy all August so I have been trying to get my part of the MEP done ASAP. But, I guess I can take it easy. Besides, what I have done is definetly not the finished product. I am going to post it and get everyone's opinions on it and then I will edit it. I might even change the song. I am positive I will have to shorten it.

      Also, would I be able to submit the video to the top five contest, or should I just use it for this?
