    Phisics indeed XD

Yeah, uh, all laws of physics are defied in these games.

How can he even make Thunder or Fire appear out of nothing in the first place? You can't really apply the laws of Physics to a game like Kingdom Hearts without having them fall apart horribly. xD

Guys, the answer is all in one word:

    Magic.

it's not meant to follow the rules of physics, but rather to make something appear from nothing, like the philosopher's stone ignoring the rule of equivalent exchange in FMA.

It's kinda like asking how the heck does Sora or anyone else jump four times their height off the ground and glide on air currents without any support.

And the best answer would be bluebell fireballs turned red. They can't be extinguished by water.

As for thunder, every bolt that is summoned travels along invisible power lines that is instantly destroyed the moment it touches a target.

Only one possible Answer... Soras in the Matrix ... e.e

Well it makes sence dosent it. 'Bend rules but not break them' (Tho at the xemnas armor fight he sure as hell looks like he broke them)

I bet it was disney that did it too. I mean why else would you travel around with a duck.

    Think about it... yeah...

Before you ask this question, first of all let's consider what 'creates' this thunder: The Keyblade.

What the **** is the Keyblade? If I randomly had something like that appear in my hands on a dark and stormy night on an island that fully needs adult supervision, I'd sure as hell think I can do whatever I want too.

We're given a completely unrealistic weapon to use to battle completely fantastical enemies. To suddenly bicker about why you can cast Thunder in Atlantica is just ludricrous. Being able to cast Thunder in Atlantica? Here's a better thought: Mermaids? Talking fish and crabs? A half-octopus woman?

After all that, the Thunder thing just seems pointless to argue.

    Simple.
Physics don't apply in this video game.

I mean.. Take Sora's hair for example!! It proves the laws of physics don't exist... Either that or he just uses a lot of hairspray. :D (Sorry. Couldn't resist!)

But. Really. Think about the other things that prove that there's no law of physics in the game.
Like gliding and abilities and other stuff (I can't think of examples that haven't already been said..)

I'd agree with you, DiveIntoTheHeart...After all, Riku looks like an old lady that spiked the bottom from behind...

I mean, why else can't you swim in the water and keep Sora in there for over and hour and he still comes out dry?

Physics comepltely fly out the the window in these games...

    Oh come on...
Sora's HAIR defies the laws of physics.
why should magic be on physics level?

And obviously it also makes perfect sense how Sora can get sliced into pieces by a katana and survive without a scratch on his body. If you think this is the most illogical thing in Kingdom Hearts, may I suggest you play through the game again? Trying to find logic in a game that centers around a fourteen year old kid running around in Disney-themed worlds beating up people with a giant key isn't necessarily the smartest thing to do in my opinion.
    Quoted for truth. =D
