The Legend of Dragoon

Michael looked at the red star, when suddenly he heard screams coming from the village.

"No!!! How could I be such a fool?!"

He ran to the village as fast as he could.

 

OOC:Just incase you haven't played the game, the red moon signafies the coming of the moon-child, while it is rumored to bring peace, it truth it brings the goddess of destruction and wipes everything out.........And with the coming of the moon-child, the black-monster appears as well.....

 

He ran up to her and helped her up. "You okay?" he asked, worried about her.

 

"Micheal, what's wrong?" Kai asked. "What's with the red star up there?"

 

"No time to explain, the village is being attacked!!!"

 

*smirks*
"I'll let the Dragoons take care of this......"

 

Kai ran with Micheal to the village, taking he sword.

 

Michael and Kai entered the burning village. All around them was a scene of death and carnage left by a merciless killer. Everywhere they looked it was the same, there were no survivors to be found.

Michael heard a groan coming from a pile of rubble. He threw the fallen stones aside, revealing the village elder....gravely injured.

"Elder, what happened?! Who attacked the village?"

In a weak voice, the elder said, "It was the black monster...it came upon us swiftly. We had no chance....."

The elder gasped and slowly his eyes closed. He died from blood loss.

Michael screamed loudly in rage.

 

"The Black Monster?" Kai wondered. "Micheal, lets go see if there's any survivors."

 

OOC:I have to leave............which shouldn't be too much of a problem, considering Jeraxan is just sitting there watching the carnage.......

 

OOC: weird i did just make that up about the the red star thingy.
BIC: "yes come on, we have to go to the village." she ran as fast as she could to the village and saw michael "the moon-child...." she whispers, staring into the sky.

 

OOC: A coincidance?

BIC: He followed her and asked "Moon-child?"

 

"the moon-child is apprently up there." she points to the red moon/star.

 

They got to the village. "What happened here!" he said, shocked.

 

Everyone looked around the remains of the village for survivors, but the search was in vain. The black monster was made sure it emilinated everyone in the village.

"My god. All of this senseless devistation, and for what, just to find the moon-child? There is nothing I can to for my people now but ensure that they are guided to their eternal rest."

Michael played the same somber melody on his flute just as he did the day he guided his father. Once again the summoned lights converged to form the souls of the villagers, and one by one they headed to their final resting place, tears streaming down Michael's face all the while.

"I will have vengence on that monster. It will pay for all the lives it has taken." Michael thought to himself as he continued to play the song.

 

Sophia listened for a bit then picked up her piccolo and joined in. i might not be able to do anything but it is always easier to do it with someone else than alone she thought.

OOC: do you mind me joining in? doh i put the wrong name down, stupid me *starts banging head against the table* ouch, did you know wood hurts when you bang your head against the table?

 

Kai listened to Micheal as he played the song. 'I feel so bad for Micheal,' she thought. 'Now he has no home.'

 

OOC: Go right ahead.

Thea joined in. It seemed to ease the pain in Michael's heart to know that the others were here to support him.

 

Kai put her hand on Micheal's shoulder and sang along the medoly. 'I wish there's was more I can do,' she thought, as tears ran down her face.

 

Cliff raised some rock and slashed at it, creating a memorial for the townspeople.
