The Legend of Dragoon

"nice day to swim" sophia said to herself she walked to a lake which was in the forest and stepped onto the water she walked to the middle of the lake then stepped into the water; she swimmed like a seal, wow she thought it must be the dragoon spirit, she found that she could hold her breath for five minutes. that, is wierd she thought.

 

Cliff looked at his helmet and saw that it was filthy. "Looks like it's time to clean my armor." he said, sighing. He picked it up and went to a nearby lake. He set the box with the Divine dragoon aside and took off all his armor. Piece by piece, he started cleaning it.

OOC: He is at the same lake as Sophia.

 

Sophia sees him, she grinned and went under water and swam up to him, she got right close then jumps out on him laughing and getting him soaked in the proccess.

 

"AAAAHHHH!" he screamed, falling on his back. Seeing her on top of him, he blushed. "Why'd you do that?" he asked.

 

sophia grins "becuase your dirty, " then puts a mean look on "and why are you cleaning your armor in my clean, pure, fresh water?" she smiles "here let me help."

 

"Okay." he said. "Umm...Could you please get off me?"

 

"ohh, sorry."she got off him, she took the armor and placed it in the middle of the lake and started a whirlpool of water.

Kai got up and walked to the door, 'I'll accept Micheal's offer.' She quietly walked out to the window. Sighing, she looked up at the stars. Tracing the new scar on her face, Kai thought about her father for the first time in a while.

 

Cliff watched with wonder.

 

she stepped gracefully onto the water, the breeze made her hair flutter, she bent down and picked up the armor, she walked back and passed the armor back to Cliff. "there." she smiled, the armor was shining in the light.

 

"Thanks." he said, starting to put the armor back on.

 

Michael was bored, so he leaned against a tree and pulled out a hand-carved flute.

He began to play, but stopped after a while. The flute was given to him by his father, but he and his father were never really on good terms.

"Father always blamed me for mother's death. He never could let it go.
I'm surprised he even gave me the flute, or the dragoon spirit. I used to hate him, but now, I actually miss him."

He put the flute away and went back to town.

As he opened his bag, Michael remembered he had not stocked up on supplies.

He went to the shop and bought some potions and rations for the long road ahead. Michael couldn't shake the fact that something sinister was on the horizon, he wanted to make sure that he was well prepared for the journey, since it could be a long time before he sees another town, so he might as well be ready for anything.

He finished his shopping and returned to the inn to eat and get some rest.

Michael sat down to eat, as he finished his meal, he saw Kai walk in the room.

"Hello Kai, how are you doing?"

OOC: I know, kind of lengthy today

 

"Oh, hey, Micheal," Kai said. "I couldn't sleep. My father never told me why my mother disappeared. I have this weird feeling that she's alive out there in this world. I always thought it was my fault she disappeared. The scar above my left eye is my main reason." She showed him the scar she got while fighting her father one day. "I'll accept your offer to travel."

 

"Are you sure you want to? Once you make your decision, there is no turning back."

 

"Yes, with the village gone, I have no place to call home anymore," Kai said. "Besides, I wanna see the world. I know, but I'm not turning back!"

 

Ok then Kai, make sure you are ready for the trip and meet me outside the gates at dawn.

 

"Alright," Kai nodded. She went to town and brought some supplies she liked and that suited her. 'Well, father, I'm going to find mother and travel with some new friends, I hope you're proud,' she thought, looking at the sky.
