    The Letter of Prochain

A Biography of the Distant Love

Love, what seems to be misunderstood through the lives of many. Teens, adults, children, the list seems to go on until the final year. Or maybe beyond the distance of death, and onto the afterlife. Love, one thing that can keep you alive, or one feeling that can lead you to your own grave. The emotion, can be expressed in many ways, but can always turn out in different ways. And yet, none reach to a perfect road. The 'bumps' of figurative relationship run in the way of actually making 'love' a real feeling. Although, through out all those bumps, there always seems to be one who stands out above. Making tribulations become the nonexisitent word within that couple's vocabulary.

But what would be the result of adding 'distance'? The word 'love' becomes fused with 'sadness'; the one emotion no one truly wants to feel. What this distance is doing to the words of emotion, is turning every chance of love into complete 'hurt'. Hurt, certainly, the only word that no one wants to deal with. And when you simply add 'hurt' with 'relationship', the sentence never seems to turn to what you want to expect.

This all describes the relationship of two childhood friends. Sound like your everyday love story? Surprisigly, the backstory seems to change all your expectations. Two bookworms, always meeting each other in a library. Coincidently, though. Both of them would stare at the words of text only meant to be comprehensible by a class of humanity twice their age. Before anybody, including themselves, knew it, the two of them began to talk. Further and further along the road of the word 'friendship', came 'relationship'.

Two of them, a perfect girl with the intellectuality of an artist, with a perfect boy. A boy who was not only an inspirational speaker of philosophy, but one who was just discovering romanticism. Both of them, realizing that the romance they have discovered, was not through their books, but more of through their emotions. As every other person would have. But for some reason, the text of dreamt up fantasies of romance, soon became the reality as they know it today.

Every progression, every motion, and every confession, moved forward and forward to these two. Unfortunately, when the boy was going to admit his true passion for the girl. The girl surprisingly moved to a city in the same country, although, unaccessable from the stand point at this moment. The two has seemed broken. But soon, a letter came through. A letter that would certainly be able to change all despressing and disappointing matters of their lifes.

The letter of upcoming, the letter that told the boy. The boy and his world, that life would be the same as before. Life would change. And the boy and girl, were thinking through the same fantasies and dreams, as they both said to themselves at the starry full Moon. "I love you."

Miranda, reading remotely anything; mostly stuff in the romance genre, writing poems and stories himself, going out to cafes, relaxing on a Saturday beach, and oddly enough, loves Red Bull.

    Dislikes
Cheaters, crappy plot lines, crappy weather, and being away from his love, Miranda.

    Habits
To be honest, Haiden actually has a tendency to get over protective, but is still someone loyal. The bad thing about getting too over protective is that Haiden pushes himself to a limit of getting beaten.

    Personality
Loyal, yet stubborn at times, majorly overprotective compliments his kind nature, never really like to deal with violence, but if he has to, Haiden tends to go beserk. Is actually giving and caring in ways of the perfect romance boy, it tends to blow girls away the fact that it is who he truly is. Let's not forget to mention that Haiden deepens in sadness when reminded of his terrible past without Miranda.

    Occupation
Author, and an unlabel singer who plays at cafes.

    Love Interest
    Miranda Alistair

    Biography
Growing up under a popular, well known family, Haiden has always been quite distant from his family. Soon after Haiden was able to get a job, Haiden moved out of his house and bought his own apartment behind his partents back. Although, he tends to keep conversation and contact through his cell phone. His past, is something hard to describe fully. Our blonde mystery has grown up not willing to know of love like what he read in his books. However, Haiden was always interested in truly feeling this emotion of love. And within no time at all, he found someone that was nothing compared to the girls within the text of his literature.

Immediately after even five minutes of talking with Miranda, Haiden fell in love at the early age of ten years. But after knowing her for a year and half, Miranda surprisingly moved without telling him. Haiden has still yet to get over it. After his boring life, Haiden reached the age of sixteen slowly, yet progressingly. Because of his everlasting love for Miranda, Haiden has done plentiful research through romance novels, and has never had a girlfriend or lost his first kiss.

And now, with 'The Letter of Upcoming', Haiden is patiently waiting to lose his kiss, witness his first relationship, to the girl who he certainly can't last anymore without.

Haiden, sketching, storms, preferably reading romance or fantasy novels, writing prose’s and her own novels.
She dislikes liars, with a passion, sleeping in daylight, very hot weather, being away from Haiden.
    Habits

She has the tendency to hide her feelings when asked what's wrong.

    Personality

Ultimately, despite not being completely open all of the time, she's very sweet and caring. If feeling worried for someone else’s sake, she'll be completely honest and open to finding a solution to the problem.

    Occupation

She wants to be an artist, but is not quite there yet, spending her time perfecting her passion.

    Love Interest

    Haiden Blanc

    Biography

Before moving, Miranda spent the majority of her time at the library, escaping into the world of literature. She realized that she wanted to be an artist after reading a book about the passion of art. Though she loves her family dearly, she often feels misunderstood by them. She finds that she prefers spending her time with her thoughts rather then with her family. She had never been the social type, but only because she’s always been naturally shy. Though shy, she has always had a romantic nature as well.

Unexpectedly, she fell in love with Haiden. Though she was still a bit naive in terms of her heart’s emotions, she knew it was love. After being told that she was going to move, she chose not to tell Haiden for his own sake, hoping he’d understand. But even after leaving, as the years passed by she knew she still loved him, and awaited seeing him again.

Very nice profile, I must say. Can't wait to see the picture and to start this out.
I should probably edit with my picture, too. Haha

Saturday, the lights shine bright through ever so thin sheets of red curtain. As the light moved its position over, the light caught the eyes of one boy. Haiden Blanc, this boy's name. Within a matter of second, Haiden raised his body up, with some minor hesitation. For some reason, Haiden would always put himself under pressure, even when he was the best of tired. Jumping off the black and crimson sheets, Haiden simply gathered around his thoughts correctly. To help him think better throughout the day.

Walking up and past to his bathroom, our silver haired boy ruffled up his hair and undressed. The warm shower water already being rained upon Haiden's body. The minutes pass by like cars in rush hour. Before Haiden knew it, the time was revealed to be 8:30. The tired, expected sigh escaped from Haiden's lips smoothly. It felt like mere seconds, Haiden was pretty much rushing everything. That is, except for his hair. For some reason, he would always want that portion of himself to look good. Throughout the straightened, to the playing, Haiden realized he was actually rather skinny, yet the shoulder gave away a bit of his muscles. Not like he had any.

Straightening out the light blueish green, short sleeve shirt somehow feeling tight upon his chest, Haiden looked upon his body. "God, I feel like a girl consistently viewing my visage like this." Sighing once again, a chuckle was heard echoing through the bathroom. "I spend too much time in the bathroom." Then, the instant memory ringed in his head. It was already nine o' clock, this wasn't good. Haiden put on his plastic red wristband, grabbed his phone, and rushed directly out his room. Circulating down the stairs, and out through the door, all Haiden said was "Bye" before that was cut off from the slam of the door.

Running down the lawn, thinking he was a moron, Haiden pulled out his keys and went directly to a Suzuki motorcycle out front. Hoping on with the helmet immediately being shoved on, Haiden put the largest key within the keyhole, with that, turning the key to make the ignition start. Haiden hands steadied onto the handlebars as the motorcycle pulled out to the street, then speeding up extraordianily onto the next. The motorcycle was going incredibly fast, but legal enough not to get a ticket.

Then again, it would hold back what he wanted to do all these past years. See Miranda again. Now, Haiden was finally going to see the visage of the beauty he grew up with, the person who Haiden couldn't stop thinking about. The one and only, that Haiden will ever love. Right at the airport, Haiden was still rushing like crazy. Locking the helmet upon the motorcycle, Haiden rushed himself over to the wing that was supposedly the one Miranda was going to arrive in.

Rushing in case maybe he missed it or maybe they are just arrived, unfortunately, he was early by about ten minutes. Yet again, that sigh of disbelief was being heard to himself, or any other person around. Sitting down upon a chair at least about a few yeards close the entrance, all Haiden could do was think of the possibilites of what might happen once Miranda walks upon his life once again. "Miranda ..." So, Haiden to himself, to give him a smile of approving happiness.

She had never liked the idea of airplanes. She had been nervous during the whole flight, finding herself occasionally glancing out of the window to make sure they weren't plundering out of the sky or anything. She had spent the majority of the ride listening to music and writing aimless thoughts. Nothing of any artistic nature had really come to mind.

She could only think of one person. Her mind would only drift away to thoughts of him as she had pressed the pen against the pad of paper. Involuntarily, she had written his name down several times while these thoughts floated in and out of her head. Haiden... The familiar sense of nostalgia presented itself in the center of her chest again as she smiled slightly.

The plane tipped forwards slowly, beginning to land. She looked out of the window as clouds swept by, dampening them. She took a breath, putting her fears to rest and relaxed herself. The seat-belt light above her lit, but she hadn't ever dared to take her seat-belt off in the first place and just sat there, awaiting their arrival.

As soon as the plane landed and came to a complete stop, Miranda felt anxious. She was happy, that was obvious, but she was nervous. She wondered if he had changed at all, or if she had. She was scared at how he might react to seeing her again after so long. She would hate for things to be awkward between them,

She grabbed her things and began to slowly walk down the aisle to exit the plane.

Through the clear window of the sunny, bright day of Saturday, Haiden studied the plane as it halted right at the gate. This brought Haiden's attention to an upmost excitement. The same experience of a chill up his back from child hood, was creeping back up to him. As if he didn't have enough emotions flaring within him. Standing a bit far from the gate, Haiden patiently waited for the audience to sparse in area.

This way, Haiden could finally see what beautiful woman that Miranda has become over the years. Looking through the plentiful crowd, Haiden finally spoted the girl who stood out above all the others in beauty. She may have looked young, but he knew, this girl was certainly from his past. Guess it was just a gut feeling in his stomach, they seem to never fail him. Walking over to the innocent girl, Haiden looked down upon her with a smile that was unimaginable by even legendary poets in romanticism.

"Are you ... Miranda?" The simple question began to slip out ac tually rather nervously. If this was Miranda, if it was, all life would certainly change for him. Hopefully, in a positive way.

Miranda caught his gaze and immediately recognized him. The soft features, the confident poster, his eyes. This, was the face that had welcomed itself into her dreams on many occasions. She had the urge to lunge into his arms then and claim a hug, but digressed calmly as a smile crossed her face. He had grown, she notice, remembering a time when they had almost been the same height.

Her feelings were hard to determine. A large part of her was extremely excited to see him. Some other feelings mixed into that complicated things. She was incredibly nervous, creeping back into her shy personality that he had managed--so easily--to separate her from before. She also had a thousand memories of their childhood together flooding back into her mind.

"Are you Miranda?" He asked her. His voice had changed too. Deep, soft and soothing. She turned to face him completely, planning on giving him a straight answer but something else escaped her lips.

"Haiden..." Was all she could say.

"Miranda ..." The silence of the name that ran out his lips. Moving forward rather suddenly, Haiden brought out his arms. And in the end, they went right around Miranda's back. It has been forever, or so it feels like, since he has seen the real deal. No more dreams, now was the time, Haiden was able to see every perfect complexion and personality trait that the girl before him had to offer.

Holding Miranda what seemed to be tight, yet warmly, Haiden began to shed some tears. Two tears already shedding from both eyes. Really, Haiden couldn't keep his feelings in anymore. Crying was the only solution to letting it out. Not words could be spoken, only stiffled whimpers. "M-Miranda ... I missed you." Was all that Haiden could say before the tears began to minor, but various tears were still glazing down his cheeks like raindrops.

Miranda, being surprised at first, finally relaxed herself and slid her arms around his neck to intensify the hug. Her own vision began cloud as a million lost emotions renewed themselves within her. Her voice swelled with emotion as she finally managed to respond.

"I missed you too," She said softly. Her eyes, still brimming with tears, could hold no more as she shut them and let the tears began to fall.

    Name- Christopher Atlantique

    Age- 17

Likes / Dislikes- Likes: walking bare foot in the rain, drinking coffee; mostly frozen, the night of a full moon, losing himself in the city, going to cafes, going to the beach
Dislikes: jerks, a really hot day, the ocean, tea

Habits- Christopher has a habit of carrying a backpack around with him almost everywhere he goes. No one really knows what is in it except him.

Personality- Christopher is quiet but not shy. He likes to wander and often gets lost in the city. He is slow to anger but once he snaps it is not a good thing. He has very low self esteem so if someone bullies him then he usually believes them. He's the type of person who believes that actions speak louder than words. He's not the type of person to rush into a situation without taking time to come up with a plan. This may be a weakness, however, seeing as how he is not good at making quick decisions. He is quiet but deep down, he wants to open up to other people. This becomes difficult because he has a hard time expressing himself with words.

Occupation- He works at a local bookstore/cafe as an all around worker.

    Love Interest-none at the moment.

Biography- Christopher was born and, for the first ten years of his life, lived in a small cottage right next to the coast. When he was young, about eight, he fell into the ocean and almost drown. His big brother, Stirling pulled him out and saved him but he still doesn't like the ocean, though oddly enough he enjoys going to the beach. He lived with his mother, father, and brother until his first year of college, when he decided to move into the city so as to be closer to his school. He moved into his apartment a couple of years ago and has been living there ever since. He met Haiden at the place where he works and has been friends with him thus far.

The silence of the airport gave invisible chills up Haiden's spine. As if something just happened, that everyone wanted them to be alone. Could it be sheer coincidence? Wiping the philosophy off his mind, Haiden simply back away a little, his hands now smoothly carressing Miranda's shoulders. Yet again, the smile appeared with the tears complimenting happiness on both sides. This same smile, the smile from what seemed like ages ago, was finally making its next appearance.

"So, Miranda, are you hungry?" The topic was easily changed due to Haiden's quick social skills. Another thing was is that Haiden isn't really smooth when it comes to conversing with females. Being in his mid-teens, Haiden would always find that little factor in life, strange. Although, it seems too much of a habit already. Waiting for the reply, Haiden sprouted a smile that would make any girl reach out and hold him.

Feeling comforted by Haiden's touch, though reluctant to end the embrace, Miranda hastily moved her hand up to wipe away the tears revealing a smile and stepped a little bit away. Her smile faded, for a moment. Seeing him in front of her still felt surreal, the feeling causing her to consider that she was only dreaming again. She shook the hidden thoughts from her mind and smiled back again.

She considered his question. She was more tired then she was hungry, but she could still use some food.

"A little bit," She answered quietly.

Haiden couldn't resist but feel something good, yet something feeling terrible inside him. Miranda was gone for so long, and Haiden could hardly ever keep in touch with her. And the only way, was through letters. Haiden would always feel at the lethargic thought that he could hardly even call her. Shrugging off his mere philosophy, the silver haired beauty let his hands go back to their normal, laid down positions. "We'll go to a cafe nearby. I'm sure of this one restuarant, perfect food, you know."

A thumbs up went over to Miranda as Haiden simply gave off a smile. The smile of which consisted of his eyes closed, his mouth closed ever so smoothly, and his head slightly tilted for a hint of cute neccessity. "And I hope you don't mind fast things." Haiden pulled out a motorcycle helmet, and it was pretty obvious from thereforth what they were going to be riding. Chuckling in a nervous disposition, Haiden scratched one side of his temples. Hopefully, Miranda wouldn't yell at him.

Haiden's hands slid back down to his sides, causing Miranda to feel colder in a sense. She neglected the sensation and continued to gaze up at him.

"We'll go to a cafe nearby. I'm sure of this one restaurant, perfect food, you know."

Her expression brightened at this. Even as children he had always had pretty good taste in food. She sought through more of their past together in her head. All thoughts flew by in seconds, leaving a mere innocent stare as residue. She wanted to escape back to simpler times, before she had come to realize how false some of her favorite books had come to be when applied to reality. She wanted to go back to before she knew the meaning of corruption, and it's subtle ways.

"And I hope you don't mind fast things."

Miranda stared at the Haiden with a slightly lost expression. Motorcycle...?

"You drive a motorcycle?" She asked, louder then she had intended to. As eyes moved towards her, she felt her cheeks burn with a tinge of red. "You drive one?" She repeated in a quieter tone. Half of her was extremely excited by this, while the other half had received the more anxious side of her view.

Haiden could tell that Miranda was into motorcycles right when the anxiousness echoed within hsi eardrums. The information gathered in his head with a smile then triggering the reaction. True happiness being all that can describe the smile he possessed. "Yes, I do. And this helmet's for you." Holding out the heavenly white helment further out for Miranda to grasp, the teen beauty simply waiting for the response of action.

But during this awaiting response, Haiden began to think of the past actually rather quickly. The seconds went by what seemed like a sports car at top speeds. The memories, the life, finally, it would all flashback to his mind. And, not to mention, his heart. Haiden couldn't lie, his heart was beginning to beat actually rather faster. The pace picking up velocity after every memory, one by one.

Miranda reached out a hand and received the white helmet, with a fascinated stare. Her eyes twinkled with a childlike gleam that signified interest as she let her lips form once again into a familiar smile.

"That's really cool," She started. Sure, not her best response, but it was what she was thinking at the moment. Or maybe not. She lowered her eyes in thought. This act was habitual to her. She tended to take simple statements of hers and analyze them in her head. Some would call it intellect, but she found it rather bothersome to have her nature be so inquisitive. Nothing would remain unsolved in her mind...Except for one thing. After a few seconds of silent thinking to herself, Miranda noted that it was cool, and that was the appropriate word used to explain her interest.

Her eyes flickered to her bags momentarily before resting on Haiden again. "Shall we go?" She inquired.

Christopher Atlantique was in his element. People. They sat at their tables, sipping coffee and reading magazines, or talking with friends, with the occasional burst of laughter filling the room for a brief moment. Then it would be gone, still faintly echoing around the small cafe. A hand on his shoulder jolted him out of his fascinating watch. He tilted his head up to come face to face with the one man who could inspire so much trust and so much anger. It was an even more extraordinary feat when he did both at the same time. Of course Christopher had come face to face with his boss.

"Chris, glad you are still here. I need you to work an extra shift. Thanks, I owe you."

Christopher wanted to reply that yes he would work another shift if Mr.Altson would stop calling him "Chris". He almost rolled his eyes when he heard the famous saying. "I owe you" coming from Mr. Altson was a code for, "get to work and be glad I don't fire you". Never the less, he stood. His knees popped uncomfortably from sitting too long and Christopher paused for a moment to massage them before turning back to his seat. His backpack lay in the seat, propped against the armrest. From it he withdrew a cream-colored apron and tied it around his middle. His apron didn't require putting a strap around your neck because it was a server's apron, and for that he was thankful. He grabbed his forest green pack and stowed it behind the counter before grabbing his pad and pen and scouting for a table to wait on.

This will be a long day.

Putting his attention back onto Miranda, instead of his memories, Haiden nodded as a simple response for now. Then again, being around Miranda, simple and short responses were all that could be reacted or said at this moment. Although, Haiden knew within his heart and his mind that he wanted to say something actually rather intellectual. Too bad that heart believing in intellectuality was beginning to get in the way of all of that. 'Damn, I can't talk straight. This isn't going to be good for a welcome back.' So Haiden thought, with massive thoughts of Miranda blocking in the way of original thoughts. God, it was becoming hard to hold back what he truly wanted to say to his love.

Walking out the airport, Haiden began to start a conversation as he progressed over to the midnight blue and coffee black motorcycle not too far from the entrance. "So, Miranda, what was it like in London?" What was always depressing about Haiden was that he couldn't speak perfect English, but he was still training hard for then, he could travel with Miranda and not look too much of an idiot. Waiting for the next response once again, Haiden approached about ten yards away from the motorcycle before peering his attention forwards; instead of directly within the path of Miranda's lovely hazel eyes.
