Ooc: x_x; took FOREVER, Aki. =P I was thinking for about a half and hour about it before beginning to write.

As soon as Miranda stepped out of the airport she felt a small sense of chaos erupt inside of her. She was back, and it had just occurred to her that this would change everything. She sighed, to shake off the feeling and took in a deep breath of familiar scented air. She had a thousand things on her mind, none of which that seemed more important then Haiden, at the moment. Haiden. He was the calm in her calamity. She was extremely pleased to be back in his presence. A lost feeling, that she had forgotten existed, had revived somewhere inside of her.

Within a small distance, she saw a motorcycle parked neatly against the sidewalk. Once again, she got excited again.

"So, Miranda, what was it like in London?"

Miranda thought about it. “A little bit like here,” She started calmly before remembering something. “Oh, yes, I finally got to see the clock tower.” She said with a small laugh. A while before leaving she had coincidently mentioned wanted to see the London clock tower. “Honestly though, it begins to lose it’s splendor after viewing it so often…Or, at least all of the magical element I put into its existence…” She added, thoughtfully.

At that moment, Haiden was seriously starting to imagine the lifestyle of a French high school student wandering around a world which was unknown in various ways. Haiden was beginning to go into a phase of cognito with his mind; the part of his mind that was his intellectuality, the other being a part of his philosophy and thoughts on reality, and the other just straight out romanticism. "You make that sound as if you were the cause of everyone's grief." Haiden wanted to say something, but it would probably reveal too much of his feelings.

Incidently, the words fell out of his lips a little too fast, not much thought being put into. "If that is so, I doubt that no matter if I was there or not. You are too --" Cutting off, Haiden stopped at the motorcycle. Here come the nervous subject change, what every other guy would do to get out of a pressurized situation like so. Handing over the helmet to Miranda, Haiden began to smile over to her. Just so then, she wouldn't be freaked out when she hops on the motorcycle. "Just hold on tight, Miranda. I'll go through any stress just so you feel comfortable on here."

With that. Haiden put his right leg over the motorcycle to then sit down. The kickstand being pulled in, Haiden awaited for the response, as usual.

Bridget had a long day at the office. Her head had already started to ache from her boss yelling around. The case was missing evidence and she was sent to look around. Sadly coming up empty-handed. Her rough day went worse when the man across her office had taken her stuff out of the office without her permission. Her eyes lurked around the roaming city. She hoped to make it home safe. She saw younger people walking on the sidewalks and she sighed again with the satisfaction of seeing everyone else happy. She looked off the road and pulled a CD out of her compartment.

She pushed the CD in the slot carefully, listening to one of her masterpieces come onto play. It calmed her wonderfully, and made her head slowly cease the soft pain to a gentle breeze. She cranked up the heat and let her car warm up. It was still another ten miles home, and she couldn't wait to see her brother again, unless he was out. She had the perfect gift for him. It was all wrapped in a white and black coated wrapper, with the sweetest black and white bow. She couldn't remember his favorite color sadly. She would try to think of anything that would make him happy, but she felt like she was trying too hard. Of course, the gift in the package was a gold pin, to pin onto his shirt and a golden bracelet to match his love. She looked everywhere for them, and hoped it would please him.

"Mm..." Miranda managed. She put on the helmet, and inspected the motorcycle inquisitively. She had never ridden in one before, and hadn't thought she was ever going to. She sighed thoughtfully, before hesitantly climbing onto the motorcycle, having a little bit more difficulty then Haiden did. She finally settled and slightly hesitant, slid her arms around Haiden's waist snugly. She couldn't deny that her heartbeat had increased in speed. It was incredibly noticeable to her.

"You aren't going to go too fast are you?" She asked, for the sake of response. She trusted him with her life and knew he would probably be a safe driver.

Christopher spotted a man alone sitting at a table and approached him. He had his pad in hand and pencil in another. As he stepped up to the man, the guy turned.

    "Whadda ya want?"

The man swayed in his seat and Christopher sniffed the air. His nose wrinkled as the smell of alcohol hit his face. Christopher braved the smell and stepped forward, closer to the man and the table.

"Sir, would you like a coffee?" Christopher asked the man.

He spoke louder and slower then he normally would, considering this man was, without a doubt, completely and utterly drunk. The guy just grunted and put his head on the table. Christopher nodded to himself and retreated back to the counter. He wrote down the order and ripped it off the pad, slapping it on the counter before turning back around and looking for another table that wasn't being waited on.

Just by the feel, the great, immense texture of Miranda's body, arms, and fingers, began to make Haiden's heart beat faster second after second. Movement after movement. Trying to make Miranda comfortable with moving around a little, Haiden chuckled as if a giggle, instead. Backing up from the parking space, Haiden was getting on the road, preparing his goggles on his face. Before they knew it, the motorcycle started picking up speeds near thirty to fourty miles per hour. Pretty slow for a high performance racing motorcycle.

"Hope you don't mind us stopping by my house first! I need to get some money, left my wallet!" Haiden had to yell with the wind blowing hard on them, making it hard for voices to travel easily. It took what seemed like seconds to arrive in the driveway. Without knowing, his sister wasn't home yet. Maybe she was still on her way from work.

Bridget slowly made her way across the bridge in town. She sighed and turned on her wipers, seeing a few drops of rain hit the windshield.
"Great...it'll start raining harder soon," she sighed. She saw her driveway, and sped up slowly towards the house. Another car pulled out along in front of her. She screeched to a halt barely missing the car.
"Watch Out Das nächste Mal Idiot!" she shouted. Her German language was rarely used unless she was upset. She sighed and pulled into the driveway, getting it put in park. She grabbed the wrapped gift and headed on inside the house, unlocking the door. The first thing she did was sigh and head into her room. She changed out of her law outfit and into a lovely dress. White as snow, and she looked for her hair glitter. It was regular routine for her. She pulled her hair up into a high ponytail and sparkled glitter in her hair. She sat slowly next to the piano, and started playing a delightful soft melody.

During the drive, Miranda's hold had involuntary tightened. She spent the majority of the ride with her face pressed against Haiden's back and her eyes squeezed closed, letting the wind hit her face. She heard Haiden mention stopping by his home and she nodded against him in understanding. As they approached Haiden's driveway, slowing down, Miranda let out a long sigh. This was fueled by relife, and also the remains of exhilaration.

It had began to ran, and she was glad she had decided to wear a jacket.

The sounds of the room flowed through her body, and moved swiftly along as the draft pushed her hair around slightly. Her eyes sparkled as her fingers moved swiftly across the keyboard. She sighed and stopped playing. Her head started to ache again. She accidentally hit the keyboard when her hand dropped making a loud off tune sound. It made her head ache more. She groaned in agitation and stood up, walking into the kitchen. She put the gift on the table knowing Haiden might see it soon. She even scribbled on a notepad saying she was taking a small nap. Her head had been bothering her today. She walked into the living room and laid on the couch, after taking off her dress. A t-shirt and pair of shorts were on underneath. She lay her eyes close, and slowly drifted...

Christopher served the man and watched as he drank the coffee slowly. It was black, which explained for the shudder on the man's face as he took the first sip. Christopher nodded once, satisfied. He turned back to the counter and sat down in a small wooden chair. He sighed and set his head in his fists, watching the cafe bustle around. Boredom swept around him and he glanced at his wrist watch. He had about an hour left until he could stop by and say hi to Miranda. He remembered how shocked he had been when Haiden had told him that Miranda was coming back. It had taken him awhile to get the information out of Haiden's jumble of words. Haiden had been so excited that he had spit out all of the sentence in one shout. Tristan chuckled as he remembered that moment. He wondered idly if there were any new customers. His eyes swept the cafe but found none so he resumed thinking. A few drops splattered the glass in the front of the cafe and Tristan looked up at the cloudy sky.

Bridget rustled restlessly. The rain drops on the ceiling were uncomfortable to her ears. She sat up again and walked into the kitchen.
"Hmmm... Maybe i should go stop by the cafe," she said to herself. The mentioning of visiting the place brought chills to her shoulders. It was a lovely place to get the right cup of tea or coffee. She exchanged notes on the gift, and explained she would be heading out again to the cafe. Her head had still hurt but maybe some tea would make that better. She grabbed her Italian purse and headed out the door, into the rain again. She walked tot he carport and got in her other Eclipse. She turned on the ignition and headed out slowly. The cafe didn't seem far from the house, and it had made her happy. She put on her windshield wipers and drove on the lane.

Christopher sighed and began drawing on his pad. He didn't think that he was that great of an artist but he enjoyed it none the less. He drew the scene outside, rain falling on the cobblestone, cars driving by and some people walking with umbrellas. He finished the drawing and looked up, thinking he had heard something. The man was calling to him and waving. He stood and returned the pad to the front pocket of his apron, along with his pencil. He rarely used them because usually there were only two or three orders to remember. As he stepped up to the table the man smiled.

"Thank you son," the man said now.

He seemed sober now, or close to in anyway. Christopher nodded and smiled.

"Your welcome sir. You can call me Christopher."

"Well ,here Christopher, keep the change."

The man put a bag of coins in his hand and stood to leave. He walked to the door and the jingling bell signaled that he was out on the street now. Christopher looked down at the bill and sucked in a breath. This was a hundred francs! He quickly counted them up and gasped again. He would get to keep €14.00 for himself. He happily put the money in his pocket and gave the actual pay over to the man running the cash register.

Bridget pulled into the parking lot across the street. The rain had subsided for now, hopefully. The umbrella was in the back of the car and she didn't feel like getting it for now. She raised up her hood and zipped up her jacket. She was still in her little tee and shorts that looked too short. Her legs looked so pale in the glistening light the sun had barely put of the dark and gray clouds. Her eyes barely flashed in the rain and her shoulders shook from the cold wet drops on her back. She ran across the street when no cars had passed. The first step into the Cafe had warmed her up and it put another faint smile on her face. She sat down at a table that should be seated for two, but sadly she was the only one. She pulled out a small book from her purse. Pride and Prejudiced .. the most famous book she had read in a long time. Her thoughts clouded on how a woman would marry someone she deeply loved, instead of a richer man. She could tell, that was true love. She waited for someone at the cafe to come take her order. It looked like a rather slow day to her, but the service would be the judge of that. She was thinking on whether getting an English Muffin or a Strawberry Pastry. They both seemed good at the time, maybe she would get both. She hadn't ate yet for the morning, and she had worked apparently all Night. She should be in bed by now, but the late hours just make it impossible.

Christopher noticed a girl come into the cafe and sit down, pulling out a book. He smiled to himself. From the cover he could tell that it was Pride and Prejudice, one of his favorite books. He walked over to her silently and stood behind her.

"Affectation of candour is common enough— one meets with it everywhere. But to be candid without ostentation or design— to take the good of everybody's character and make it still better, and say nothing of the bad— belongs to you alone," recited Christopher as he slid around to the other side of the table.

"I'm Christopher, what would you like today?"

Bridget looked her pale eyes up at the boy. Hmm. Christopher. That was a lovely common name for someone as magnificent as he.
"I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine." she recited back. She looked at the menu and finally had the mind to say she wanted both.
"I'd love a cup of hot tea, with an English Muffin and Strawberry Turnover," she said, folding the menu, placing it beneath her hands.

    "Right away."

Christopher tore his eyes from her and walked back to the counter, repeating the order to the person behind the counter. He shifted from foot to foot as he waited for the tea to boil, finally the order was set and he carried the tray over to her table. She was beautiful and he knew it. He set the tray down and put the food on the table. A call made him turn and he walked back with the tray. The cook was motioning him over and handed him something wrapped in a napkin. Christopher took it and unwrapped it, finding 4 cookies.

"What is this for," he asked, holding up the cookies.

    The cook just smiled.

"Happy early birthday ok? I'll see you tomorrow but not the next day so I decided to give it to you now."

Christopher murmured his thanks and went to sit down at a table next to the girl.

Bridget smiled and watched him closely. He seemed to be very coordinated and calm. This job must be very stressful, and it was hard for her to even imagine working at a Cafe. The long hours and the hard days. Always on your feet every five seconds. Her job wasn't that hard but it was a whole lot just to get in. She sipped her tea slowly, feeling the warm liquid pass through her throat, easing the pain there and n her head. She felt a clearness come up from the cloudiness in her head. She took a bite of her strawberry pastry and ate her Muffin. Her stomach was growling most of the day where she hadn't and thing to eat. She smiled and left €10 as a tip. She wrote down a small note next to the tip that she would love to have lunch with him later. She placed her number on the paper. She walked to the front of the Cafe and paid for the tea and sweets. She then headed out, keeping an eye on Christopher.

The second she walked out of the Cafe, she crossed the street again, walking down the sidewalk towards the parking lot. She had crossed the wrong street apparently. She walked, passing a few men standing in an alley. Her eyes could only shift to them and back to her purse across her shoulder. She pulled her shorts down in the front to make them look a little longer but it didn't help. One man in front of her stopped her dead in her tracks.

"I don't want any trouble, please," Bridget said. She ruffled her hair slightly and saw that he looked like he wanted to cause it. The same two men came up from behind her and each grabbed her arm. She was terified. If they just wanted to take her purse, they would've done so already. The streets were blank, due to the rain, and cars weren't coming this way. Only up at the intersection, where it was hard to see down here.

"Please, just let me go," Bridget said, trying to snag away her arms. They only held her back when one of the men had gotten a little too close to her. He seemed agreesive, and started tugging at her clothes.

"No! Stop!" she shouted, more like shrieked. She kicked and threw her arms everywhere trying to get away. Now she only knew what they wanted.. They didn't want her money, they wanted her...

"Get away! Someone! Please Stop!" she shrieked. She was more scared and started crying.

"Ok bye," called out Christopher as he clocked out.

He grabbed his pack and slipped on his raincoat over him and the pack. He was thankful that he had brought it and waved goodbye to the staff of the cafe before stepping into the rain. He flipped up his collar and started for the parking lot. The rain had made the cars leave this street so it was pretty quiet. He heard something.

    "Get away! Someone! Please Stop!"

Then he heard a scream and without thinking was racing towards the horrible sound. He came upon three thugs and the girl from the cafe before. He stepped into their line of sight and spoke in a clear, confident voice.

    "Stop."

Bridget felt the tension rise up as one of them turned to Christopher. She hadn't thought of him to come and help her, but he seemed to be so sweet now. The other thug held a grasp on her as the other guy and yanked off her jacket. She still tried to fight back.
"Get off!" she shouted, kicking the thug in front of her away. Immediately he had backed off and the other thug dropped her. She hit the ground pretty hard. The one thug who had turned to Christopher had pulled out a knife, and that scared Bridget even more. The man behind her picked her up again and the one in front of her tore her shirt open. She felt a scratch across her collarbone and let out another piercing shriek. She pulled out something in her purse, and held it against the one behind her, tazing him. She did the same to the guy in front of her until she saw them starting to run off. She was on the ground by now and she was soaking wet. Her hair messed up and barely any clothes.Just the ripped shirt and her shorts. She grabbed her jacket that on the ground, still sobbing quietly.

Soon after the both, Haiden and Miranda, of them got off the motorcycle, Haiden began to remember that he did have a welcome back present for Miranda. Miranda would always wear ribbons in her hair, and so, Haiden had an old golden ribbon and bow that would go perfect with Miranda's complexion, person, everything. But right now wasn't the time to be dozing off like that.

Starting a new subject, Haiden rushed over to the door so then he could get the present in no time to arrive at the cafe. Afterwards, of course. "You can come inside, Miranda." He left the door open for Miranda to enter right behind him. Turning the corner, unlocking the door, and working with the locks all over again so then they work next time. It took so much effort into just unlocking one room, or even remotely getting inside it. Looking around the many open spaces of the ever so designed room, Haiden found the ribbon right on desk. Grabbing it, he remembered there was also a small pink ribbon you could fit around your fingers.

Rushing down the steps, Haiden couldn't wait to arrive in front of Miranda and see that ever so lovely smile again. Then again, just even thinking about it would get Haiden inflamed cheeks. Delicately, Haiden approached Miranda wherever she pondered herself onto. "Hey, Miranda, here's my present." Showing the gold ribbon only for now, Haiden patiently waited for Miranda's approval in emotion to place it on.
