Just got P3F and some other stuff in the mail. Don't know when I'll get around to it, though. Haven't felt like playing games for the past week or so.

Man KHV, it's been some interesting days, first I am almost done with A Link Between Worlds, just a dungeon to go to the final dungeon.

Second I go back to Borderlands 2, I fail to defeat the W4R-D3N on the first time because I ran out of SMG ammo, the only shock weapon I had was BANDIT QUALITY and had no corrosive weapons, and he summoned a Badass Loader. Now I have to pin it down in another area filled with enemies :l

For third I have too much stuff I'm playing at the same time (Without checking right now, Borderlands 2, Pokemon Y, Shin Megami Tensei IV and A Link Between Worlds, Dark Souls is on hold until I gather enough desire to go back to that game). Atleast for my standards (I usually play like 2 games at the same time), I don't know what I'm gonna play today, or if I'm gonna play anything. :l

And fourth, I can't pre-order Bravely Default here until the first week of February, and the launch here is the 15th.

As usual I apologize for not posting much but I do come here once in a day to check this topic.

I just beat the MCP and have almost fully leveled up Wisdom Form. Once that's done, along with Atlantica (because I've decided to do 100% except maybe the Synthesis stuff because ugh no pls) I'll tackle Mansex and his gay underlings. Still haven't swapped out my Kingdom Key either. I'm so proud. *crickets*

And I think I may be the only one who slightly enjoyed KHII Atlantica, if only for the rhythm game aspect.

 

How hard is the game, on any mode, using only Kingdom Key, Mage's Staff and Knight's Shield?

 

Well, I never said I'd let Donald and Goofy stick with their defaults. They're netting me a lot of the synthesis materials I'll need to stay sane while I grind my drives. Regardless, it's far less of a challenge than I expected (though that might just be my constant obsession with getting Sora's AP through the roof).

Only a few minor hiccups really. In difficulty, it's around 6/10.

I attempted to complete my No Equipment run on KH1FM on Standard Mode, then Rikunort showed me that I suck and should save the no equipment for Beginner. I am, however, using this run to finish all the optional bosses and stuff (although Sephoroth killed me in two hits looooooool).

I also fell asleep while texting my friend at 10pm last night, and came to the realization I am very bad at talking while about to collapse.

 

You guys have made me decide something after I beat Dream Drop Distance.

Starting Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix on Proud Mode. Kingdom Key only, choosing Rod and sacrificing Sword. Knight's Shield and Mage's Staff for the other two. No equipment.

Not gonna do Zero EXP because I'd like to beat the game in less than a month.

 

Staying up until 2:00 AM - 3:00 AM every day will do that to you, my dearest Plumsy.

 

Accidentally equipped a ring on my Beginner run, which ruined the No Equipment trophy, and then Maleficent made my no continues run disappear. I did the speed run and a few of the optional bosses before my saves disappeared, along with the trinities and dalmations. But eww those Gummi Ship missions.

 

Maleficent almost did the same to me, but then I just equipped Strike Raid and resolved to be cheap. :'D But aww man, that sucks. Do you know what made them disappear? I haven't even looked at the Gummi Ship missions in depth, but I saw one was like "Get no points and take no damage" and felt the Platinum trophy launch into the distance.

I doubt it's the time I went to bed so much as how much good sleep I got, lol. I had woken up still tired yesterday so I knew I was going to be due for an early turn in. :v

 

Are you going to grind though? Because grinding in KH is more powerful than the equipment you can get. The difference a couple of levels can make is pretty cray cray.

 

I usually resort to being cheap, and for the most part I'd saved right before every major fight, but I forgot when it came to Maleficent because I was so close and the trophy flew off into the void.
My PS3 formatted itself, meaning all the trophy data backed up on my account was fine, but my saves are all gone. I'm re-doing a bunch of games but after doing this KHII run, it's hard to go back to the original. Especially after I'd done both the Titans and Kurt Ziza...

 

I don't intend to grind since its what I enjoy least, so only when I think I need the levels rather than playing smart.

 

Yeah, which might happen. In my run I had to grind a bit just because it took me roughly 30 hits just to kill one of those angel heartless in the end game.

I was still able to play it, but many was it boring waiting for that thing to constantly drop its guard and jazz.
